I brought my 80‑year‑old mother here, and the cashier's error caused a simple purchase into a nightmare. A mislabeled shampoo rang up at $128,000 -- yes, $128k. When "fixing" it, the cashier charged her three times instead of two. My mother later discovered she was overcharged, and when I went back to get it corrected, the manager and staff flat‑out refused to help. They wouldn't fix a $9.49 mistake, even after I explained clearly. The employees were dismissive, unprofessional, and showed zero care for an elderly customer. Even another shopper tried to help, but the staff still refused. (What a wonderful lady!) This store is unprepared, unwilling, and incapable of handling basic customer service. beautiful store. NASTY employee. I wish i knew her name. I came in to buy one item, picked it out, everything is fine. I'm not the type of customer that needs checking up on, but when I went to the counter to pay, I put my stuff down, she rang me up and didn't say anything. Literally nothing.. as in I didn't even know what i was paying. She was busy looking at the TV screen. IDC for customer service but I'd hope for the bare minimum at the very least. I gave the NASTY employee what i thought the amount was because she didn't tell me, then she mumbles something about needing .85 cents. She prints out my receipt puts it on the counter, gives me some change back, I give her the dollar I owed, left the money and the receipt on the counter and walk away. She mumbles something with attitude- by the way, that was like the first thing she said while me standing there. I kept my composure and just left the store. I'm usually the type of customer that never returns if I end up not appreciating something about an establishment, but baby this time... I'm going to keep coming again and again and again and will surely remember to piss off this NASTY employee each and every single time. No one ever asks you if you need help so yesterday was the last day I'll ever step foot in there. I do like Lucky Beauty and I like Feel Beauty. Both places are helpful, especially Feel Beauty. When I come in, I'm always told 'if you need any help, just let me know' that goes a long way. I like that. Great place. Has A LOT of stuff! read more

This beauty supply store opened by me recently and they literally have EVERYTHING. Like entire product runs from brands like Shea Moisture, Mielle, etc. They have a bunch of aisles with hair extensions of all types, jewelry, etc. There is even an isle dedicated specially to bleached hair. Love coming here. Be careful because you can easily find yourself spending over $100 when you might've only planned to come in for something small. As far as the staff here, from my experiences they have been helpful when I needed assistance trying to find something specific in this vast store. Very disappointed tonight 3/22/22 I got off of work late pulled into the parking lot and the open sign was still on at 8:19pm, so I walked to the door and the girl employee was standing at the door with it now locked and not allowing anyone in! I came to purchase something expensive and knew exactly what I wanted the manager told me no, he refused to let me and 2 other customers in. I don't believe all the reviews saying that the staff is rude and unprofessional. I think their COMPETITORS are writing negative reviews, just as their competitor wrote to their suppliers and threatened to cut them off if they also supplied to other beauty supply stores in the area. Feel Beauty is well-stocked, clean, and spacious. The people who work there are multi-cultural, and are extremely helpful and professional. The owner (or manager) is friendly and professional and so are the cashiers. Truth be told, rudeness and unprofessionalism is exactly why I stopped going to Lucky Beauty Supply. When Feel Beauty opened up I checked them out, and haven't looked back. SELLING DIRTY WET RUSTED PRODUCTS OWNER SAYS ITS YOUR FAULT FOR NOT OPENING PRODUCT BEFORE BUYING NO RETURN!!!!!! I never had an issue before returning an item until today. I purchased some hair clips to refresh my twists and as I opened the package I then realized the entire set of 80 clips were covered in rust wet like its been sitting in water. I thought wow just my luck and proceeded to return the defected item back to the store. The store owner happened to be in the front at the register and refused to talk to me and help me sent me to another employee who seemed to be young and new. She was fine but due to his orders she could not give me a refund only store credit or exchange. I dont want to go searching all in the back opening up packs of clips to see if they are rusted NO!!! After he told me next time he would not take the items back and there would be no return. NO RETURN OF YOUR OLD RUSTED WET ITEMS !!!! that's insane! The only reason I would give this place one star is because they have many items to choose from. But I rather give it ZERO. Make sure you pick the right item because they will not do any return or exchange or even store credit. They are incredibly rude and racist. They want to take money from the black community, but don't want to deal with Black people. I was at first speaking to the Asian manager who I believe is the owner, and Instead they send their guard dog with the top bun to deal with the black customers. I asked who is the manger (because he is the one in charge of exchanges and the one I was initially dealing with) and the man became silent hiding behind his guard dog. I tried to get an exchange today ( not even 24hrs passed since I bought the hair) because I picked up the wrong color hair, I even called before to make sure I can exchange and they said yes. I come into the store and because one piece of hair (in perfect condition still) was not stapled to the packaging they told me there was nothing they can do and I should find someone to sell the hair to. How incredibly rude. Before this they even tried to gaslight me saying, I should've asked for help at the time, even though all the staff was behind the register talking amongst themselves, and no one was on the floor helping any customers. And then the gas lighting continues as they proceeded to tell me the hair I'm trying to exchange is the wrong color, even though it was a very obviously it was not. They gave up that argument quickly after I asked them to come around the counter and do a color match. To not honor an exchange or even offer store credit and use the excuse "we can't sell this" when you literally have bins of hair in the back that you sell for $1 is complete bs and criminal. The only nice lady working there is with glasses that works in the wigs. Bless her soul. Everyone else is rude and disrespectful. Don't waste your time or money here. I originally was not going to leave a review because I never write reviews so this says a lot. I had moved to NY just for vacation to meet friends and go to a concert. This place seemed like an okay place to check to get the products I need, and it seemed like an okay choice to check since it was brand new (maybe that's a me thing, dunno.) This place is okay and I liked the products here and I like the employees, they were very friendly. The only problem I had was with a single employee or the manager, i'm pretty sure it was the manager(s). I will admit that i'm not financially stable and I was just looking for do-able products for myself, but I was being pushed to purchase things that I could not afford. I was explaining how I just need the products that work and I of course don't need luxury but I was still being pushed and I find it unneeded honestly. Never had a problem with the staff but I believe the claims that they are written by the local competitors as there's like 3 stores right next to each other. Only downside of this store is that it closes somewhat early but if you have time throughout the day it is definitely worth the stop. Good pricing and has everything !!!!!! read more

Honestly i have visited the place and it's cute , fancy and all but like the service can not be better than we would ever imagine especially the price treatment is not really suitable and this is abruptly illegal! i wouldn't bother with a price change from a place who'd manipulate their costumers for a piece i could find for $5 at the hall of nowhere! seriously i want to report my issue that managers in Feel Beauty are childish and very disrespectful. regardless what im gonna say i know the costumer is always right and i've witnessed enough from this place i would love to see some change in the staff community especially managers who think everything is a win-win in their small head. read more
