I specifically requested a male masseuse, and the spa confirmed it not only in writing but also over the phone for our appointment on Sunday, April 26, 2026. Everything seemed well-organized--until we arrived. We showed up early, as requested, and were asked to pay upfront, which we did. When it was time for our massages, two female therapists came to take my friend and me to the room. I immediately pointed out that there must be a mistake because I had clearly requested a male masseuse. They checked the system and confirmed I was right, then told me to go ahead to the room while they "fixed the issue." Once we were both undressed and lying on the tables, the receptionist came in and told me they did not have a male masseuse available at all. At that point, I felt completely put on the spot--I was already prepared for the massage and had little choice but to accept a female therapist, which I did reluctantly. She offered a partial refund at that moment, which I agreed to, but the situation was already uncomfortable and frustrating. The massage itself was just okay--definitely not worth the buildup or the inconvenience. Things got worse afterward. When I returned to the front desk, I was told that, after speaking with the owner, they could offer me a 10% discount... for my NEXT visit. That felt dismissive, considering the mistake was entirely on their end. Then came the worst part: our third friend--the one we were celebrating--never even received her massage. Her therapist simply didn't show up. The explanation given was that the therapist had been in a car accident and couldn't make it. While that may be true, the situation was handled terribly, and it left our friend--on her birthday--without the experience we had all planned together. I later received a call from the owner apologizing and offering a 30% discount for a future visit. But at that point, it felt more like an attempt to get us to come back rather than genuinely make things right. Between the scheduling errors, poor communication, lack of accountability, and the fact that the birthday guest didn't even receive her service, this was a completely unacceptable experience. Made an appointment for a massage ahead of time and it was a good experience. Arrived 10 minutes early and filled out paperwork. I was called into the back a few minutes after my appointment time. The massage room was nothing special. My massage therapist was decent. She seemed to do more smoothing and caressing than actual massaging though. I had high hopes for this experience, especially after being disabled for three months due to peripheral neuropathy. I've been through a lot--constant medication, physical limitations, and weekly therapy appointments at noon. I was really looking forward to a moment of peace and healing. Unfortunately, I accidentally booked my massage at 12pm instead of the intended 2pm, which conflicted with my therapy session. I realized the mistake and called to ask about rescheduling, but was told it couldn't be done due to policy. While I do understand the importance of policies, I was hoping for a little compassion given my medical situation. I wasn't asking for a refund--just a bit of flexibility. I truly believe businesses shine not only in their services but also in how they treat people during difficult times. I hope someone from the team sees this and considers reaching out. I came here from a recommendation of two friends. It's a very relaxing and clean environment. My therapist was Sadie and she was awesome. She doesn't talk during your massage which is a nice feature. She will, of course, answer you if you talk to her. She listened to my needs both verbally, and when she touched my body and worked on the areas that needed the most attention, the longest. Not happy with this spa at all since it was sold. I'm sure the owner is great. It's a beautiful business, but from mine and my daughter's therapist were terrible. Maybe we just got the worst ones. The last massage that I had the young man only forearm back-and-forth all over my whole and it was very lightly. There was no pressure no massage. The gentleman who worked on me it was a very uncomfortable environment. They were too busy trying to sell me gummy's. That have weed or thc in them . I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. I've come here ~3 times over the years using Groupons. The first 2 experiences were great, the most recent wasn't and will keep me away. I booked a couples massage for me and my husband using the online scheduling tool. Got a voicemail within the hour saying that time wasn't available and they're moving us to the following hour. No biggie, luckily we were available at that time too, but I would have rather been asked than told. They also told us we'd be scheduled with a man & woman which was our preference, but then we weren't notified until we arrived that we were actually scheduled with two men. So if you have strong feelings about who massages you, keep in mind that they might switch it on you without notice. We arrived early as instructed but were then told that one of the massage therapists was ready but the other wasn't because the appointment before us started late. They asked if we were ok with being separated. I kindly asked that we be kept in the same room because we booked a *couple's* massage and the masseuse gave us attitude slapping his hands on the counter and saying "well we're all gonna start late then." I then confirmed with the front desk if we'd still get our full 50mins since we arrived on time and she said yes. The massages were great, I've never had a bad experience with the quality of massage which is why this isn't a 1 star review, but then our appointment was cut short and less than 50mins which seems completely unfair. With all the other options out there, I won't be wasting my money by coming back anymore. read more

The spa facilities are clean and smell good. Relaxing music plays in the lobby and the treatment room. I arrived early for my massage, as I was asked to do. No one was at the front desk. They showed up a minute or two before my massage was supposed to start, and they had me fill out paperwork. The massage therapist introduced herself and brought me to a massage room directly behind the front desk. I could hear every conversation and every time the door opened. The massage therapist seemed impatient. I got the sense that she didn't want to be there. She didn't ask me any questions about problem areas or level of pressure. I had purchased an add-on which she did not do. When I mentioned it and said that most people don't want it. Why would I purchase an add-on that I don't want? She hurriedly did the extra treatment but we were over time and she rushed through it. It was not relaxing. Then, all over the spa are signs about how much money you should tip based on the length of the service, and the amounts were well over 25% of the fee. Perhaps if I had had a different therapist and had been farther from the front door, it would have been a better experience. It's not relaxing to get a massage with an impatient therapist who does not want to be there. read more

What a great little find! As Groupon world has emerged for the holidays I began some research for a treat yourself kind of day. Reception from day one has been so patient , sweet and soft spoken to fit the ambience. Alexis was a wonderful staff to constantly question her up with scheduling my almost three time changed event. At arrival the location was clean, bright and blue! Steven was my masseuse and he was incredible! Always checked in to see how I was doing, was professional and took care to my needs when I mentioned pain, pressure or a sensation I was unaware of. Called in asked for female deep tissue specialist. Booked and appointment. Showed up when therapist came into the room I verbally told her again 1 hour deep tissue massage. The woman literally covered me in oil (head to toe) and lightly washed my skin (face and all). I told her to stop walked out dripping oil. Went home took a shower and washed my clothing. Horrible. She got around to using them and they wouldn't honor them as the owner claims the people who used to work there and sold gift cards that they didn't write in the expiration dates for have all be fired and that they would not honor the gift cards. Lovely place. I called and they were booked. The owner was very accommodating and took my number. She said, if anyone cancels, I will call you, and I received a call a few hours later. I had a deep-tissue massage. It was great. They are located in a long strip mall on Woolbright in the same shopping center as Mama Mias.
