As far as massages go, this is by far one of the best deep tissue massage I have ever had. My guy, Mike was no joke. When I told him I wanted deep, he might as well put on a wet suit and air tank, because he went deep. At one point I didn't think I was going to tolerate it, but I'm glad I did because I feel unbelievable now, 8 hours later. I have been having stress headaches and so much tension on my neck and shoulders that it was unbearable. I was desperate and in pain. I'm glad I found them! The place is super clean and relaxing. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because there is no real communication with the staff and they lead you into the room and don't really tell you what to do. Do I take of my jewelry or not? They give you a sheet that's about the size of a king size pillow case and I had no idea what to do. Do I wrap myself in it? So many questions. Once mike came in, he fixed my sheet and put it the long way. They work over it and don't really touch your bare skin until halfway through when they put the oil, hot stones (which are heaven-I might add) and then they wipe you all down with a steaming hot towel. They had the bars from wall to wall to walk on you, I think mike didn't do because he was a man and I'm a lady, but I will Definitely ask for that next time. I'm obviously a masochist!! Now that I know what to expect I'm sure it will be a 5 star experience next time and who knows I may treat a few friends for Mother's Day for a foot massage day of spoiling. read more

This was my first time at this location. We'd driven by it a number of times and remembered trying to do a walk in last year but they were busy. So I was determined to try again -- this time with an appointment. I called at the beginning of the week and set up an hour each foot massage for both my husband and me. The only glitch was that when we arrived we weren't written down in the book. My phone number was there with some oriental writing at the top of the page so, we weren't expected at 11 am. Luckily, they took us both. This was a bit different from some of the places we've gone to recently. In that you are lying down in a lounge chair covered in a towel from the beginning. Your feet are placed in warm water to soak. Before I could even say so, she was working on my frown lines, brow, and scalp. I usually don't like anyone to touch my face with the scented oils -- I break out. She put lotion on my neck before that area's massage and I was able to stop her from putting it in my scalp/hair in time. She nicely used a towel between her hands and my hair to finish that area. Suffice it to say this is more than just a foot massage. They do your arms and hands and legs. But they really do concentrate on your feet for the most part -- unlike one of my other recent experiences where their attention to your feet was an afterthought. This experience is more reflexology than gentle stroking. And it's a good alternative when you want a real massage but want to save some money or just not get undressed. Turning over face down, near the end, they also cover all parts of your back from top to toe. This is well worth their reasonable price of $30 for the hour. We will definitely be back. read more

Ooh, this was very nice! I got the one hour foot massage, but it's so much more. while your feet are soaking you are treated to a scalp and hand and arm massage. Then the feet, and finally a back massage. All in the comfort of a nice soft arm chair in a relaxed, dimmed room with gentle music and the tinkling of a water fountain. Worst place to go for a massage. I went for a massage and the person said can only give a 30minutes massage and not 60mins. I inisited on 60 but she said the therapist is good and she has an another appointement so I can only get a 30minute massage. I agreed and waited inside the room on the massage bed, ready for a massage for 25mins and no one came to give me one. Disappointed with the disorganization and unprofessionalism of this business. I called on the morning of Mother's Day for sameday reservations for 3. The receptionist confirmed they could take us at 4:15 but when we arrived later that day, they explained that there was a mix up and they could not honor our appointments. I understand mistakes happen but they did not try to call us in advanced to notify us, book us for another time, apologize, or take our names down to honor a discount "next time". When you enter Zen and go past the lobby you will be reclined in a very comfortable large leather reclining chair. You will soak your feet in an herbal foot spa while they massage your forehead scalp ears and arms. From there they will begin the foot reflexology. Once that relief is intoxicated then you turn over for the massage in the recliner for your back. I love the effects of this place but it smells smoky which is what kills it from being five stars. Additionally sometimes I smell the smoke on the masseuse. However the great outweighs the challenge. The way the chair reclines permits them to get a wide amount of your body for $39. I would rather have two of these than a full body massage any day. Tom is my favorite masseuse so far. Every time I have just walked in without an appointment and got treated within a few minutes. If they improve the circulation in the room and are more conscious of getting rid of the smoke smell I will be happy to update the review to five stars! Regardless, though it is my favorite foot spa in the area and upon completion they will give you a bottle of water to help flush out the toxins. I will keep you posted :) read more

A great experience at an amazing price! I've never been to a place like this; only have visited establishments like Red Door, Bliss Spa and Massage Envy to name a few. I was REALLY impressed. Received the Reflexology Foot Massage. It's more than you think. While wearing my clothes, the massage therapist focuses on pressure points all over your body; not only the feet. (p.s. wear comfortable clothing) He was very professional, as was the girl massaging my male friend. I hate saying it, but I didn't expect much. On the contrary! Good massage, but they don't have space for couples. They didn't speak good English and just left my boyfriend and I in dark rooms with no instructions other then take off your clothes. My massage was ok but the man kept leaving to answer the door, and didn't do my entire body. My boyfriend said his lady was great, her techniques were questionable but he felt good after. If you like deep tissue, or shiatsu / Chinese style massage, and a good foot massage, this place has a lot to offer. It is not like a typical Western Massage Therapy Clinic, however. The prices are exceptionally low, so it is reasonable to plan to tip, however the practitioner I had was very aggressive about insisting on a tip which I found a bit rude. The "therapists" asked for specific amounts of tips at the tables. The massages were not relaxing due to the fact that the workers kept talking to each other and to us, And asking who was with us.
