Being relatively new to London I was looking for a mechanic that charges reasonable rates and most…read moreimportantly is HONEST! I went through a handful of bad ones before finding this gem. While trying to cheap out I used one backyard mechanic for oil changes. My splash guards were never put back on properly, there were delays, if u did a brake job the was always clicking noises and squeeling sounds and I just wasn't happy. For big stuff I tried a few different shops. All of which ended up charging an arm and a leg for work which did not even need to be done. Even things like brakes which I had done a month before I was told I need to do again at a shop on Oxford. We have all been that but f*** come on at least take care of the original problem I came in with while you are robbing me and doing all this extra stuff . . . My car is already broken which sucks and now you want to break my bank too?!? Basically I had to buy an OBD reader and read the codes and make sure I was not getting scammed every single time before I went in to my old mechanic. My old one was so bad that I am literally scared to write a bad review about them. . Once I found London Auto Source about 8 months ago I went in with a minor problem and expected it to cost $200ish which is what Google said it would be. I dropped the car off, was called back within an hour and came to pick it up. The bill including parts and labor came to $80 and was done in an hour! That is what I like to see! Fair prices, quick work and honest people who don't try and bankrupt you. This place seems to be family owned and the people working there are super nice and even offer you coffee while you wait, help and tips if you plan on doing the work yourself, a ride home if you are within a reasonable distance and even offered to drop my car I had work done on to my home(around the corner) since I was driving my other one. I assume rides home and stuff were just a favor so don't expect that lol Here I don't have to worry about sending my girlfriend in with her car to get work done (unlike other places who double or triple the price of repairs when she walks in). While other people take advantage of young ladies who know nothing about cars these guys take the time to explain the problem to her, how they think they should fix it and treat her like a human being. Basically there is no need for you, whether you are a girl or guy to come in flexing your mechanical knowledge muscles which is great because I have next to 0 and my GF is even worse. It is not one of those sketchy shops with old parts lying around, oil stains and seedy, grease covered, face tattooed individuals smoking cigarettes inside. You can tell there is a sort of pride of ownership which is put into the business that you don't see very often. They do everything by book and work with you no matter what your situation is and are not there to make a million bucks off you but rather EARN your repeat business and referrals which I happily give after the thousands they have saved me and my friends. The shop itself is huge, clean - like cleaner than most retail clothing stores, has a bunch of docks and lifts to deal with high traffic and multiple jobs at the same time and all their mechanics are oddly enough, very clean?!?, well spoken, informative, knowledgeable and once again and most importantly honest. Ever since I found these folk whenever I have a problem with one of my car's I just drop it off, give them the keys, a little bit of a description about the problem/symptoms and they either take care of the diagnosis on the spot or give me a call back with a quote within the hour. Coming from someone who does about 35,000km's a year of driving I cannot emphasise how much of a weight off my shoulders it is not to have to go on YouTube and self diagnose, attempt a repair and if it doesn't work go to some shady guy who is going to charge me $1000+ for a job that doesn't even get rid of the problem. Bottom line the folk here are truly men of non-negotiable integrity and I cannot express how happy I am to of found them. If you are looking for a good, honest, fairly priced mechanic give the guys a shout and you will see what I am talking about. And if you drive as much as me and my girlfriend it will change your life lol

The estimate was astronomical, with repairs on areas not damaged, add-ons for numerous items not affected such as recalibrating a number of sensors, resetting all the airbags, front end alignment, frame straightening -- to name a few (I had grazed a concrete pillar in my underground parking garage, which they knew). i went to Car Fixers based on reviews. Their estimate was just over 1/4 of the other guy's!!! The work done was exceptional. The finish is even smoother than the original Lexus factory finish. I called around to a few places in London that did windshield repair. Some people on the phone could not give me a price off the bat, others would, but would ask me if I was going through insurance and leave me in the dark as to what that all meant and the implications of it. When I called Autostrata, the experience over the phone was totally different. I explained that this was my first incident and I've never had to do anything like this before. She clearly explained how the insurance worked and described to me the process. While it would cost me a bit more out of pocket to get my windshield fixed here, I was willing to pay more due to the service level I was receiving and the warrantees included. When I arrived at the garage, I was driven to my house for the afternoon by their driver and was picked up a few hours later when the job was complete. They explained to me the instructions to ensure the window settled properly and processed the claim directly with my insurance company. i was expecting a very frustrating process, luckily this was not the case with Autostrada and I would choose them again if I need to!
