This is the third opportunity I've given this bakery and it will probably be my last. I ordered a coconut cake with raspberry filling for my daughters 18th birthday (she didn't want a traditional cake). I ordered it a couple days in advance. At the time of ordering, I told them it was for an 18th birthday, that her favorite color was pink, and to make it pretty. I didn't ask for writing because I know that that would be difficult on a textured cake. They asked if I wanted the icing to be pink. I said bakers choice, whatever was easiest. Pink icing, pink flowers, whatever, just make it pretty. I was charged $55 for their smallest cake, which I thought was high but that it was due to the extra. Well, picked up the cake on Saturday and it was, literally, just a plan coconut cake. When I pointed out that there was nothing on it, I was told that they couldn't decorate a coconut cake and what were they expected to do? I said that it would have been nice to have known since I made it clear it was a birthday cake. I took my cake, went to Kroger and grabbed stuff to decorate it myself, still hoping that once it was cut that it would be clear that it was worth $55. It was not. So, decorating a coconut cake was not hard at all. I did it with no training and in about 20 minutes. And the cake, while good, was literally just two layers with some raspberry in the middle. I could have gotten the same thing from Publix for half the price. I know this bakery has a good reputation and the taste of the cake was good. I'm going to take some of the blame because I wasn't specific on the decorating. Saying pink, 18th birthday, and make it pretty was too ambiguous, I suppose. But it would have been nice if there had been SOME effort at decorating. Didn't even have candles. Oh well. Lesson learned and it all turned out ok in the end. read more

Went to an icing cupcake class with my sorority. It was awesome. Felicia led the class. She came up with the ideas and had pictures for us to go by. She also had set up everything molds, rolling pins etc. It was great. It was a fun time and awesome to connect. I would def do it again and the price was reasonable. read more

A co-worker brought in a bunch of these cupcakes to work as a treat. I first tried a bite of the red velvet. The icing was buttercream, which I didn't expect, and it was incredibly sweet. I prefer some kind of cream cheese icing with red velvet personally. I also had a bite of the chocolate, and it was pretty dry/lacked a lot of flavor and depth. Maybe some of their other items are better, but I was totally disappointed in the cupcakes. I've had much better tasting and cheaper ones from Publix/Sam's club. read more

Felicia's Cake Factory is dangerously delicious! I'm Old Skool meaning, I like FLAVORFUL, MOIST, CAKE! I dont care if the cake is pretty. If it's dry and taste like Sugared flour it ain't good! Felicia's cakes and cupcakes are moist, delicious and are unique to her shop. The Red Velvet Strawberry Shortcake will make you bite your own lip! It happened to me... more than once. The Carrot Cake is a dunk/touchdown/home run. The cupcakes... pick one. Just pick one! Whatever it is you'll like it. If you like Banana Pudding look in the fridge, to the right, lower shelves, and get some of that heaven in a cup. If your thinking, "this guys must eat a lot of sweets" you're right. Mind ya business! You're suppose to be deciding if you want to some cake. Not worrying about how much cake I eat. I recently stopped in and tried several choices which included chocolate chip cookies, henny cupcakes, and the strawberry shortcake mixed with red velvet. The cookies were really good. I enjoyed the cake portion, but was not a fan of the icing. It is a really nice shop though and the customer service is great read more

My favorite are the ooey gooey bars and petitfours! They also have really good cupcakes w/ the signature almond cream cheese buttercream icing. The customer service has always been great and the fact that Felicia is present means a lot too - it's not just another generic bakery like Smallcakes. Since COVID, they've transitioned to online ordering and curbside pick-up which works out just fine. read more

Called a week in advance to order my daughters birthday cake for her party. Spoke to two different women, and Felecia herself actually called to go over my order. We discussed it was for a birthday, and if she could do the writing in my daughters favorite color aqua could be done or not. She said she could and even asked me how to spell her name to make sure it was done. So, day of party I arrived at the given pick up time, and she came to tell me there was no order, and there was NO CAKE. Period. Said she had a cake she could ice, but could not write on it, and it was gonna take 30 min. Talk about terrible terrible costumer service. Extremely furious with how unprofessional this business is. My daughter was sooo excited about this cake, only to show up and the owner say, we never got your order, even though we had a very detailed phone conversation. This place is a JOKE!!!! She never even apologized. She literally walked away with no apology while I was still standing at the counter. read more
