I'm quite particular about my hair and received the best cut and style from Michele. I have relatively long, fine, straight hair that's mixed in with shorter hair regrowth following hair loss. She kept as much length as possible and blended in longer layering beautifully! She's beyond fabulous and I highly recommend her and Fulgere. I booked an appointment with a stylist (who recently did everyone's hair at my wedding) for a balayage with the understanding that it would be a CARAMEL color due to the box color build up in my brown hair. What I did not pay for, however, was copper and bronze highlights that looked nothing like the consultation that took place. In addition to the sub par attempt at a balayage, I was charged for services that were not discussed OR brought to my attention prior to execution. It was only until I questioned why my bill was $266 that I discovered a bond builder and glaze was necessary to achieve the penny-colored highlights I received... I wouldn't have been as upset had the stylist asked me before she performed additional services, but I do have a problem with making a decision and making me pay for services without discussing it with the client. I find it absolutely appalling at the response from the manager via email when I stated I wasn't happy with my hair. To say I was berated would be a gross understatement, but I'd like to warn the next person in case they aren't happy with their services and feel the need to bring it up to the manager. Please see the attached photos of the email from the manager, Sasha, in response to my criticism of a disastrous balayage and questionable charges. I have redacted the stylists name from the email out of respect for her, which is more than I can offer the deplorable, unprofessional manager.

I did have a different hair stylist and maybe that's why things were just ok. Personally the prices is still quite affordable but the hair cut I received (honestly more like a trim) was just ok, I don't like actually what they ended up doing to my bangs. The not so pleasant part of the haircut was the styling because I think the stylist used some wax product ( on long hair) which made it painful because every time stylist would run their brush through my hair it felt like she was ripping some of it out. OUCH! I guess I wouldn't discourage anyone to try the place because I do think the price of the service is affordable and I had a great experience with the first hair stylist (one of the co-owners believe her name was Debbie) but if I would to go back I would probably make sure to get Debbie. And if the haircut is last minute they are pretty accommodating to squeeze you in, which I thought was great!

I had been going to a Paul Mitchel school and she was able to match my color and recommend ways to make and keep my hair even healthier.
