It's easy to see why this studio has been a pillar in the community for well over a decade -- the level of care, professionalism, and deep-rooted expertise here is unmatched. Before JTB I visited massage therapists over the years, but Jess is truly unlike any other -- she has a gift. Her work is both precise and intuitive; she knows exactly where to focus and uses a variety of techniques that leave me feeling lighter, more mobile, and completely renewed. Every movement is intentional and deeply effective. She has an exceptional understanding of the body, using her own mechanics to reach and relieve tension in ways I've never experienced elsewhere. Even her draping technique sets her apart -- every detail reflects her skill, professionalism, and genuine care. It creates total comfort and trust from start to finish. If you see an opening on her schedule, grab it. And if not, you're still in great hands -- Jess mentors her team, and that commitment to quality and consistency shows in every session, no matter who you see. The classes are equally outstanding. Over the years, I've taken yoga, mat Pilates, strength, Bootcamp, barre, 305 (dance), Buti, and functional fitness -- and every instructor brings knowledge, encouragement, and a sense of community. The variety and quality are incredible, and each class feels approachable and empowering. I always leave feeling better than when I walked in, and I'm even thinking of trying their nutrition coaching program next. The space itself is clean, calming, and thoughtfully designed -- from the moment you enter, you feel at ease. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in your well-being. JTB is more than just a wellness studio -- it's a place built on years of experience, care, and intention. Whether you're looking for expert bodywork, motivating classes, or simply a place to reconnect with yourself, this is it. A true gem.

The perfect New(-age) England setting which I believe used to be a home - hardwood floors and cozy nooks and crannies. Chill beats flow through the space along with the pleasant scents of incence. Each room is centered around one of the elements: fire, earth, water, metal. I.love.the.decor. Can I live here?!?!?! It's something out of an interior design magazine, welcoming and beautiful and everything I wish my actual home was made up of. I'm writing from the comfort of their waiting room as I've not yet regained the ability to walk after my hot stone massage with Jeff. Meet Jeff. A-maze-ing. I scheduled this last minute appointment away from my usual spa due to the severity of my back and neck pain and the urgency of the matter. Couldn't be happier - proud convert - can't wait to return. I'm not entirely convinced that the man has hands, rather hypnotic soothing waves that carried me off to relaxationville. I still feel like I'm radiating heat and tranquility. Sorry, Jeff, you're stuck with me. Looking forward to returning for yoga ($15 drop-in) and continued massage excellence (~$140). YES, Body Fixx! YAASSSSS!!!!!

The teacher there, Susie, is extremely knowledgeable and I trust her insight and all of that. HOWEVER, her class is not a gentle yoga class. I've been to that class on various occasions and on some nights, I worked way harder than I wanted to. The pacing was way too fast for me and her cues came off as borderline militant. Nothing about it felt gentle or calming or relax. I left for the most part feeling just ok. Nothing overly spectacular. I almost felt like she was rushing to get as many postures in as possible. And for someone who's a 500 RYT (I think E-RYT, but I can't remember or bother to check), she does a lot more standing up at the front of the class room doing the poses than actively walking around and giving assists. I'm not saying she's a bad teacher. Again, she knows what she's talking about, but I'm not a fan of how the class was formatted or how she instructed it. She felt like she belonged in a power yoga class and not a gentle one. I mean, geez, if that's her version of gentle, I don't want to see what's regular ol' yoga. For me, I need a much slower practice, which requires me to either a) be picky as hell with finding the right teacher, usually an E-RYT 500 teacher who knows what they're doing or b) just take a gentle class. So if you're like me and are looking for those requirements or are simply looking for a relaxing gentle yoga class, this may not be for you. Still give it a try, who knows. We all like different things. I'm just no longer a fan.
