Unfortunately, I cannot give this zero stars, so one will have to suffice. I would like to shed light on a recent experience I had at this salon. I booked an appointment with a stylist (who recently did everyone's hair at my wedding) for a balayage with the understanding that it would be a CARAMEL color due to the box color build up in my brown hair. What I did not pay for, however, was copper and bronze highlights that looked nothing like the consultation that took place. In addition to the sub par attempt at a balayage, I was charged for services that were not discussed OR brought to my attention prior to execution. It was only until I questioned why my bill was $266 that I discovered a bond builder and glaze was necessary to achieve the penny-colored highlights I received... I wouldn't have been as upset had the stylist asked me before she performed additional services, but I do have a problem with making a decision and making me pay for services without discussing it with the client. I find it absolutely appalling at the response from the manager via email when I stated I wasn't happy with my hair. To say I was berated would be a gross understatement, but I'd like to warn the next person in case they aren't happy with their services and feel the need to bring it up to the manager. Please see the attached photos of the email from the manager, Sasha, in response to my criticism of a disastrous balayage and questionable charges. I've been to all the stylists Nicole, Jessica and Kelly for my men's cut and Love how my hair comes out each time I go. The shampoo before and after is a definite plus to the experience! Bellagente is a great place for men's cuts!! Highly recommend this shop!! The girls always fit me in because I'm usually last minute. Booking on line is very convenient. It is so hard to find a stylist who understands curly hair. Sasha is an absolute expert! I have found my curly hair fairy godmother and I'm never leaving her! My hair had not been cut in almost a year. It was damaged and deeply in need of some TLC. Sasha took the time to talk with me and listen to my hair care routine and my specific curl issues. I learned so much from her and had a truly transformative haircut. I cannot recommend Sasha highly enough! Worth every penny! read more

I was running 5 mins- 7 min late and made a courtesy call to say that 'I am 5 minutes late'....in return i was told that i will have to reschedule ( after yr 2019 with my preferred stylist) because i was running late by 5 minutes!!! I was dragging my 2 children and driving 20 mins to reach there!!! I had to turn around and go back home. Even doctors allow 5 to 7 min delay....especially if you are on your way and call them to say that you are running late!!!!!! read more

Once again I am in love with my new cut and color. Each time I have my appointment I look forward to the confidence and beaty I feel. Not even because my hair looks amazing but because this salon makes me feel so welcome and comfortable. It doesn't matter how much you brag about your credentials. The staff is rather unprofessional. I have made two appointments here in 2019. I typically give second chances. I was not unsatisfied with the results of the stylist, I was however extremely annoyed by the staff/owner. Receptionists: Stay off of your phones or at least make an attempt to look like you care Owner: You need to watch what you say if you are around clients. It is not all about you, it is about them. Another trip to Bellagente  that left this customer VERY satisfied!!! I just had an AMAZING facial for the first time with Katie. She is super kind, welcoming, and very knowledgeable! I was really impressed with the care and attention she gave me. Katie was very tentative and thorough on explaining with detail what she was doing and what products she was using on my face. She even gave the most relaxing massage! I just returned from a trip to Alaska and between the long plane rides and the colder climate,  my skin has been feeling extra dry, lifeless, and dull. I cannot begin to explain how rejuvenated and beautiful my skin now feels- very hydrated and plump! I cannot wait to schedule my next appointment! Thanks again, Katie, you're AMAZING! Pretty salon which is why I gave it two stars. Don't book an appointment with the owner, she is never on time for your appointment- especially if you're the first one for the day. They ask you to be early, but she walks in 15-20 minutes after your supposed arrival time. The front desk girls are very unprofessional and combative. And don't get me started on the cancellation fees or the astronomical retainer fee. I prefer not to have a dog bite me during my hair service. read more

Don't bother paying extra for the curly cut. This is not a deva cut. Your hair will be cut dry but exactly the same as if it is straight hair. Pulled out in large sections and then cut straight across. For me, a 3a, this ruins my curl pattern and leaves me with a puff ball of hair. read more

I'll preface this review with some backstory. I recently decided to embrace my curls and started going to Bellagente. My experience started off a bit rocky as Sasha, the owner, argued with me (the client) about my appointment time. I gave her a pass for having what must have been a bad day. My mistake. For some reason Sasha has a chip on her shoulder and is always ready for a fight. I witnessed her wrath on others as I quietly processed in my salon chair. Jump forward to the reason I am writing this review. Yesterday, I was there for color. Long story short, it came out much darker than the chestnut brown I clearly asked for. In all my years, I have NEVER been spoken to so poorly. Rather than conduct herself like a professional and work with the client, she blamed me, told me I'd never be happy and to never come back. Yup you read that right. Nobody could possibly be that unprofessional. As much as I'm angry at the level of disrespect shown to someone who's paid many hundreds of dollars in a short amount of time, I'm sad for Sasha because this tough girl act only highlights her immaturity. read more

I am extremely disappointed... Over a month ago I scheduled an appointment with Sasha for a Deva cut. I had been anxiously awaiting this haircut. I received multiple emails, texts and even a phone call reminding me of my appointment. My appointment was for 1pm. At around 11:30 I get a call that Sasha is running behind, and they are pushing my appointment to 1:30, not great but thanks for the heads up. At 1:20 (10 minutes- before my new revised appointment) I am just about there and my phone rings again.. they now need to cancel my appointment because someone before me incorrectly booked her color appointment and it is going to take a lot longer than expected. WHAT!!!! I asked why wouldn't you just explain to the woman that she would need to reschedule her appointment. The receptionist- who isn't at fault here, had no response.. She said she was sorry and would reschedule me as soon as possible. So this salon went above and beyond to ensure that I remembered my appointment and was going to show up on time by sending multiple texts and even a phone call the day before. They make sure to have on their website that there are fees for no shows and cancelling within 24 hours.. yet this is what they do. I explained to the receptionist that I won't be rescheduling, these aren't the kind of business practices I support. read more

And a vaild phone number with voicemail set up that I was called on to confirm and change my appointments. So not sure what's going on there... Also know what a Deva cut is, as I've had several before. I only ever wear my hair curly, which is the point of getting a deva cut; to have your hair look good when worn curly. Well, precision cut or not, my hair looked really stupid when worn curly so it was still a bad cut. REVIEW: Bellagente is not a salon I would recommend. Keep reading if you want to know why... For your first appointment, they ask you to put down a $30 deposit when booking to be deducted from your total when you come in. Not typical, but fine. My appointment was with Sasha, the owner, for a Devacut, which was pretty good. When I went to pay, it didn't immediately occur to me about the $30 (I've never had to do that before) and they didn't mention it, so I paid full price. When I got my card statement and realized, I contacted them and while they were apologetic, ultimately they said I couldn't get my $30 back it had to be a credit on my account. Fine. I scheduled my second appointment with Sasha, but was rescheduled with Nicole due to a family situation Sasha was dealing with which kept her out of the salon for a bit. I was surprised to see Sasha come in when I was there, but I guess she didn't have the capacity to keep her existing appointments and reschedule all the missed ones. I was scheduled with Nicole for a Devacut and partial foil. I was Nicole's first appointment of the day and she arrived after my appointment time. Sadly not uncommon, but another review noted how particular the salon is about the client being on time, so I thought I'd mention it. Nicole's Devacut wasn't exactly what I am used to; it was basically just a dry cut not taking into account how my hair curled. Fine, but I would've just got wet cut at that point and saved myself a bunch of money. Plus, it turns out that after I washed and styled my hut myself, the cut is actually pretty bad and I needed to have it fixed somewhere else. Then came the foils; she was very precise with placement, which was nice, but seemed like she needed help with the color (the stylist next to us helped a bit). I told her although my hair is dark, it lifts pretty quickly. When she checked my foils, she commented that I was right. I know! Then, I needed a toner. Here's where my biggest gripe is. She did tell me she was putting a toner/glaze on, but that was about it. I've gotten highlights/my hair dyed a number of times before, I've often gotten toner. When I went to pay, I was told my total. I reminded the woman at the desk about the $30, and she noted that she would take it off. Upon returning home and looking at my receipt (which was emailed) I realized I had been charged the full amount she told me, which I realized also didn't add up to the services I received ($77 for Deva and $85 partial foil, which is steep). I called and talked to the same woman at the desk (Jessica I think?) who informed me they did remove the $30, but I was also charged an additional $25 for the toner/glaze. What? I scheduled two services. A cut and a partial foil, which often implies you'll need a toner. I was not told that when I "needed" a toner bc my foils were so light that I would be paying extra money. I don't think it's fair to charge a ton of money for highlights, knowing most people will need a toner, not even mention it is another extra cost and then charge people without saying anything. She asked me what I was hoping for when I called, and I said to get my $25 back. She said she didn't think that Sasha would do that, but she'd talk to her and someone would call me back. I never heard from anyone. read more

I have followed Sasha from salon to salon for over 10 years, I was THRILLED when she opened up her own salon. The permanent home of Bellagente is gorgeous and the staff has always been kind and helpful. Sasha is an a talented stylist and a savvy business owner. She cares so much about her clients both inside and out. I wouldn't trust anyone else with with my hair, it always looks beautiful and healthy! read more

Great experience! I was looking for help with my curly hair, having learned that this is a thing now. I'd done as much with it on my own but needed a cut and highlights. Jessica spent time finding out what I wanted, really explained things including what she was doing with each step. The salon owner, Sasha, chimed in with lots of tips and observations.
