I am impressed by the choir performances. I love the faith retreats and mission trips organized for youth, couples, and adults in the church. I cannot speak highly enough of the positive experience I have had with the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown.

The church offers both a traditional and contemporary worship service with excellent music at both services (a fine adult choir, world class organist and choir director, professional vocal soloists, praise band at the contemporary service, bell choir, the aforementioned youth choirs, as well as professional guest musicians). I have been a member of this church for nearly a quarter of a century and came to it as a Moorestown "outsider". I've always felt welcome and encouraged to use my gifts here and - as a result - my Christian faith has grown by leaps and bounds over the years.

I joined him today, per his request. This church is beautiful and humongous ... a bit too over the top for me though, with the large screens (you can follow bible verses, readings, and song lyrics), concert type performances and loudness on the microphones. As much as I love music, I prefer a talking service, with minimal singing. I'll go again to support my son but I'll stick with my little, much quieter parish. Lovely people but not for me.

It's a place that truly loves God and stands firmly on His Word. The pastor teaches the Gospel clearly and doesn't shy away from speaking truth... even when it challenges you to look at your own heart. Those messages are exactly what's needed today, and they always point back to growing closer to Jesus. Another thing we love is the kids and youth ministries. My kiddos absolutely love going! It's a fun, welcoming environment, but more importantly, the teachers genuinely care about guiding kids and teens toward a real relationship with Jesus. If you're looking for a God-loving church that teaches the Bible, this is a good place.

The teaching (whether Sunday School, bible study or other fellowships) are warm, inviting and not "holier than thou". There are multiple Wednesday Bible Studies (noon and 7:00pm). There's 6am prayer, and 8pm. Refreshments are served. The bible study classes (and Sunday School) range in age from pre-school to adult. Its a very kid friendly church. There are lock-ins (they spend the night and play games, watch movies and all that good stuff). From Hallelujah Night (Oct 31) to the Christmas Party, kids are entertained in loving friendly environment. There is an awesome AWANA ministry where the kids are introduced to scripture memorization, play games and get the opportunity to spend time together fostering relationships and having fun. There's Children's Church every Sunday when the Youth Mass Choir doesn't sing. And yep, food, food, food for the littles. Most importantly the Pastor is awesome! Well educated but down to Earth, he doesn't preach "at you" but to you. I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking he is memorable for his bad jokes (kidding) and wonderful singing. He greets everyone after service, Pastor is the first one to lend a hand when something needs to be done. The choirs are top notch! The Praise Dance ministries are really wonderful. The church has so much to offer.
