We recently lost power for 4 days (underground cables got damaged in our neighborhood). Turns out the *only* way to get into our garage to get our cars / bikes is via the electric garage doors. Windows to the garage painted shut. Ooops! No power = no transportation! Whaaaa whaaaaa. In steps Felluca to the rescue! They installed a fantastic lock and key that can override the electric cables! They were quick to schedule the appointment, very thorough and patient in teaching us how to use the new override, and cleaned-up our garage doors while there. Very communicative as the driver got close, within the 3-hour window scheduled. We felt the pricing for parts & labor was very fair. And money well-spent, should we lose power again! read more

I do not recommend this company because they behaved deceptively. I had a Felluca Overhead Doors representative come inspect my non-functioning garage door opener. The employee fiddled with the equipment a bit and declared it 'dead'. The ONLY option was to replace the whole device for $800. This was all done just for show. I had previously read the garage door instructions and watched them closely. The things he was 'inspecting' would not have caused the mechanism to do anything; it was misleading, deceptive behavior. After they left, I took an educated guess and swapped out the logic board for $89. It worked perfectly. Would you rather spend $89 for the part that was actually broken or $800 for a new installation? Felluca may do great installations of new garage door openers, but their repair service is not trustworthy in my opinion. read more

The employee on the phone was friendly and informed me of the service charge for labor, etc. It was easy to make an appointment a few days out. When the day came I received a phone call about 10 minutes before the worker was going to arrive at my house, which was helpful. The worker was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. In the Rochester area you have Roly-Door and Felluca as the 2 best known companies around here, IMO. Both are great. There are others but these 2 companies are well known for quality. I have used them and others before. Felluca Overhead Door installed the new Clopay # 9203 Premium Classic 7' x 17' x 2" thick Model 9203 Premium Series with Elegant Long Panel design, Intellicore polyurethane 18.4 R insulation, with (4) Charleston 608 double insulated windows garage door last week and we are very happy with the door itself and the entire Felluca team. First off, the pricing including installation was very good. This kind of quality door is not something you want to have installed by from the big box stores. They send untrained kids or hacks who have no clue as to complexities and mechanics involved to install it correctly. Stick with the pros. The pricing is the same or close. The Felluca Emergency Crew, the Sales People and the Installers are top notch. The Installers I had, Eric and Tim, are a First Class act. They worked in perfect harmony and they did every thing the right way, no small detail was missed. No dents, scratches or dings on our new door at all. No air leaks at all, the sides, top and bottom door seals are perfect. They are extremely careful. They clean up the work area to perfection. It seems that they both take great pride in what they do and how they do it. That is just what we we looking for in a company. And they are fast. No radios with music blaring, no foul language, perfect gentlemen. They are well qualified pros and it shows. As far as the Clopay Classic, it is just a marvelous unit. The door is heavy duty and built like a tank, yet it is beautiful looking, I ordered mine with heavy duty 14 gage hinges, dual heavy duty torsion springs, heavy duty ball bearing rollers, double insulated windows, and it is very quiet going up and down. The Charleston windows added really make this a sharp looker. It is also very quiet in my garage now, the insulation helps blocks out road noise. Dave Lindsay was very knowledgeable about the product and once we told him that we only wanted a standard insulated door, he did not try to upsell us.
