I first discovered it because we were going to a brunch nearby during the pandemic (in 2020) and my wife had forgotten her mask. We wouldn't have been able to go in without it. Rather than go back home or to a CVS nearby to grab a mask, I thought this clothing store might be selling some and popped in while my wife waited outside. After I explained the situation, the super kind owner gave me one for free. So cool! After our brunch, we came back (as we promised we would) and shopped around, and my wife really enjoyed the cute and eclectic selection of clothes, accessories, and jewelry. I was shopping here because my husband was at a business conference at a nearby hotel and I was killing some time. There were two blonde women working while I was there: one with short hair, middle aged and very thin who was extremely helpful and amiable and a younger, not-as-thin one who was a total snob who seemed to be in a higher business position. I found a ton of items in their sale section that I wanted to buy, but I wanted my husband's second opinion on some of them and asked the staff to put them on hold while I went to pick him up, as he was wrapping up his meetings. The woman who was helping me seemed to have her hands tied as the younger woman snidely told me know, as their goal was to SELL the clothes (I kid you not.) I convinced them to at least leave the large pile at the register for half an hour. I would have just walked out, but the woman who helped me was really nice and the clothes were truly fantastic. I went as fast as I could to pick up my husband and flew back. My total at the store rang up to hundreds of dollars and I just gave the young woman a long, hard, clearly uncomfortable stare. The woman who helped me seemed to be trying to hold back laughter. I wouldn't have written this review as this occurred so long ago, but I couldn't believe other reviews came to the same experience as I did so I had to share. I would have thought for sure the young woman would have learned her lesson that day. Obviously I was wrong. I will try and shop there again as the clothes are still some of my favorites years later, but if I have the same experience I'll just walk out. There are plenty of businesses out there that are happy to take my money and provide customer service while they're doing it.
