This is my favorite little boutique in Old Scottsdale! It is a combination of vintage with sparkle. The way the store is laid out is light whitewashed walls and has a shabby sheik feel elevated. Kristie is super friendly and greeted me with a bestie attitude that I love. Often times tourist towns can have a bit of an elitist attitude, but this is not the case here. Kristie deserves a raise for how she engages people even outside where hats are displayed. That was actually what drew me in to look inside. Asmae may possibly be my long lost soul twin. (Hehe). I stumbled upon this boutique as I was casually exploring old town Scottsdale. She was so amazing in every way and you can tell she truly loves what she does. I walked in absolutely sure that I wouldn't buy anything but I ended up buying a super cute jumpsuit and a belt because she was so helpful and hilarious. I have never written a review for a clothing store or boutique, but after visiting Voila and meeting Asmae, the incredible owner, I felt compelled to share ... this was the most fun I've had shopping in ages! Asmae recommended items that I wouldn't have picked out for myself in a million years and I ended up with a pair of pants that fit perfectly and are SO fun! She encouraged me to try on a fun sparkly dress and it was another great find (I left it behind, but would have bought it in a heartbeat if I had a cocktail party coming up). I have worked in retail myself and you can tell a lot about someone by the way work, and she is a fabulous example of what an amazing employee/owner looks like. She is kind, funny, and observant. I feel like a changed woman after meeting Aesma at the boutique. I'm not big on fashion or shopping and I felt like my big sister was letting me go to town in her closet. Aesma looked at my body type and asked about my style, gave me some things she thought I would be comfortable in and then some that she knew would push the threshold of what I probably would have chosen for myself.
