You must make the CALL to confirm IF any procedure is approved. The doctor's office may mislead you and what is supposedly pre-approved may stick you with the entire bill. The word of a surgery clerk will not pay the five to six digit bill after the fact, no matter how confident they seem to be. You must make the call to confirm; and remember to keep your cell phone records if there is a timing dispute. I brought my proof of insurance card into the office over a month before the pre-surgery date. It was ignored. The staff laughed and actually told me there are procedural problems with scanning info and not bothering to do the data entry. Not informed, refusal to read notices I brought in from my insurance company about approval policies: there are still wait times for patients even with Obama Care depending on age and prior coverage lapses. This caused a scheduling bump beyond my control. Remember. Direct communication with your insurance company is your responsibility. Had I not called my insurance provider, I never would have known, the afternoon AFTER my surgery I was not told the truth about pre-approvals by the office. My calls were ignored days before by the coordinator, I was dumbfounded when she actually told me she decided to wait an entire day before calling for the surgery approval. By now it is late afternoon a little more than 48 hours before my surgery. The day before the surgery, I started calling for pre-approval. The insurance provider told me (by 3 different staff members) I was not pre-approved! I had to cancel and deal with trying to reschedule. Hence, keep your cell phone records, direct dial numbers of who you talked to AND get emails. I did. Then things get really bad. I was loudly berated by the doctor for canceling . With my coworkers who could hear her almost screaming scary highs and lows in her voice which finally ended with a total lack of control in the conversation. I'm still having nightmares. Obviously an ego blown. Probably another cover up for the staff and for the benefit of someone listening at the office. I was amazed at the shear terror and refusal to acknowledge any blame for the events or an apology; and yet had the nerve to calm down her terror twice and asked me about rescheduling. Wow, let me get back to you on that one. Google this: 60% of US Bankruptcies Due To Medical Bills, While 78% Of Those Bankruptcies HAVE Insurance Coverage.

Dr Geller stood in for Dr Rajska while she was on maternity leave. Dr Geller was absolutely wonderful in every way imaginable. I'm so thankful to have three doctors that I know and trust all so close to home! The practice went through a few (totally reasonable) hiccups when transitioning to the new OHSU ownership but it's been over a year since the transition and things seem to be running smoothly. And, BONUS, being apart of the OHSU network has been a real benefit as a patient because of all of my health records are basically in one place now and super easy to access in MyChart.

I only saw her for preventative care and annual exam but each time she was in and out of the door and barely asked me any questions. I had to ask her to do bloodwork. I switched doctors after moving and all the questions they asked in my appointment made me realize this doctor just did the bare minimum for me. I would see her in her office giggling on her phone as I would walk out each time as if she couldn't wait to finish the appointment to get back to texting and scrolling. I felt this way both times but also didn't have health concerns to care as much but honestly she could have easily missed things given that she basically asked nothing during those appointments, highlighted to me now that I have a caring doctor. Keep an eye on this behavior if she is your doctor.

Dr. deCastro was amazing, and honestly felt like I was finally being listened to. We struggled with unknown infertility and had felt written off by other clinics and shoved under the rug. But we came in with our concerns and he listen and created a plan that led us to our first baby! Now we're on our second journey and have decided to work with Dr. Davis and he was just as amazing and made me feel so comfortable! Absolutely love this clinic, I have nothing but good news to say!

Was very happy with our birthing experience here. We came in hot and heavy and fully dilated at 3am in full contractions and in a panic and as soon as we walked through the door all the nurses were on top of things! They all kept calm and hurried me into a room and helped me deliver a very quick baby. I appreciated everyone keeping their cool and help me through things as it was too late for pain meds. After care was great too! Baby needed lots of monitoring and even though they came in ever 2 hours, they were super respectful and quiet. I look forward to coming back next time!

I'm 23 and never felt that before. And before she did it all the nurses including her were smiling to each other and acting suspicious and never looking at me at all. They were so quick to touching me naked that they just said things very short like I shoudve known what to do without them. The front desk lady also was screaming. At. Me. And I still don't know why... she was almost crying she was so uncomfortable talking to me. And I do not know her. After these visits I really feel uncomfortable going to the ER wich should be atleast ocomidating enough to let me find out if the docter is good enough. I'm scared to even walk thru the front door let alone get my blood drawn by a dirty needle. I hope this place steps up there game because the first step to a dying state is people in health care like you.

Disciplinary action was also taken by the Board in 2024! She never informed patients that the office was closing and was practicing until APRIL 2026. Had I not driven by her office and seen it was closed, I would never have known. This doctor has absolutely made me lose (more) faith in the medical community. One star here is too many stars.

I found Dr. Pearson shortly after having a miscarriage. I was pregnant soon after the miscarriage and I came in uneasy due to the trauma I endured from the miscarriage. From the beginning, she was extremely comforting as well as took the time to really sit down with me, provide education, and showed up with sincerity and good eye contact when listening to my questions and providing answers. I actually had a scare during this pregnancy, and I had to contact her one weekend evening. Her presence on that call was just so grounding, she didn't rush me, she didn't make me feel like there was anything wrong with being worried. She just reassuringly let me know what to do and then saw me immediately for a follow up appointment just one day after that scare to confirm that everything looked OK. Thankful for her and her staff!
