One estimate to repair the fence was for $750.00 and the other estimate was for $800.00. Bluff City was the third company. They came out quickly and emailed me the estimate. Their estimate to repair the fence was for $2,157.00. They we're almost three times as expensive. I knew it would be higher because the other two estimates were from men who worked for themselves and not a larger company as Bluff City Fence. However i was shocked that their estimate was so much higher. Although the estimate was much higher it still did not persuade me from using their service. However what did dissuade me from using their service was when I called their office to check on how long they would give to pay the remainder of the bill after the down payment which was almost half the bill I was expecting the business standard of between 30 to 45 days. The woman I spoke to needed to know if I represented a corporate account or a residential account before she answered. When I told her residential she hesitated for a bit and said two weeks. Wow! Only two weeks to resolve the bill In full. Ok then.. so I decided not to use their services. If you get paid once a month like I do it would be helpful to be on a monthly plan.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! this company changed owners and is not operating like they did…read morebefore. in 2017, with the previos owner I had them install a new roof. Since then, I've had them come out on two occasions. the first was to repair a tree hit and they overcharged and now I am wondering if the work was really ever done. On my last issue, a warranty claim on their roof install, they have lied to me and lied to the shingle company. Their inspector noted that the flashing around the chimney (due to a caulking failure) is leaking and caused drywall and crown moulding damage. The report they gave to the shingle maker for the warranty claim blamed the brick and mortar of the chimney, causing my claim to be closed. My chimney is not leaking and their inspector noted that. They then lied to me when I questioned them stating that the shingle company considered flashing around a chimney to be part of the chimney. The truth Is that they reported the brick and mortar being the issue, not the flashing. I, thankfully, was able to re open the claim because another roofing company verified that the issue was due to the flashing installed by excellent roofing. Excellent has not acted trustworthy with me.
