They wouldn't tell me anything without bringing the car in. I then had the code read at Performance Auto on Mi Ave, an autoparts store. The code identified a common issue related to the crankcase ventilation system, and of course cost me nothing. I decided to give Jim's, my local long term go-to business the work instead of the dealer. I really thought they would fix it. I'd gone to Jim's for everything from a complete engine rebuild to oil changes. Bringing the car to Jim's was a complete waste of time. They identified the code, which I already knew and recommended I bring the car to the dealer. Not only that, they charged me $135 for a service any parts store does for free. If I had known that was the plan I would never have brought the car to Jim's. It's obvious the new management couldn't care less if you are a loyal long term customer. Jim's will no longer be working on any of my cars, Chev, Ford, or Mercedes.

He only hires skilled automotive craftsman that can make your car look better than it did before whatever unfortunate mishap it was involved in. If you don't care how your car looks or if it rusts out 1 year later because some guy just learned how to paint did your repair then take it to one of the 30 other body shops.
