So I'm looking for a new membership. I came in 7/26 @1205. There were three cars in front of me and I did not actually get into the car wash until 1219. The worker doing the spraying went on the other side of my car the passenger side and then tried to direct me and I could not see him through my mirror he then proceeded to take almost 4 to 5 minutes to spray my car while I appreciate the attention to detail in my opinion he was just moving methodically and slowly with no sense of urgency at all What does actually paying attention but just did not care. I tried he told me to hit neutral on my car the car wash was already picking my car up and grabbing it as if I should've been in neutral about 30 seconds before. I finally went and tried this car wash (02/28/22) and thought everything was cleaned pretty well until I looked at it under the light in my garage. I don't know if their washers are just dirty or it's the soap they use but my white challenger is covered in a layer of grey dirt that has to be buffed off it won't just wash off. On top of that my trunk and roof has scrapes and scratches all over it that we're not there previously as I usually wash my car by hand. DO NOT GO HERE. you will pay for it in the end. read more

Their vacuums are horrible!!! The lack of suction triples the amount of time you vacuum versus other car wash businesses. This is my third time coming here and it is the same crappy thing. I thought maybe they were just having an issue but after visit three, it is what it is. First time shame on you (Fenders), second time shame on me, third time... well, doing the same thing over and over again is the definition of insanity. I've gone here mostly out of convenience. Driving the extra 2 miles down Hwy 377 to go to a better carwash is definitely worth it. Don't waste your time, literally. read more

Just got my car lowered and put on brand new 20 inch wheels. This place is the only automated wash in DFW that offers washes to lowered vehicles and vehicles with wide tires. They do not use the traditional chain system, but a belt system. This means they can safely wash vehicles as low as 2 inches off the ground and as tall as 7 feet 4 inches. I paid $6 for a basic wash and it came out spotless. This will definitely be my go to spot for a car wash from now on. read more

Best local car wash IMHO. I drive a smaller car so my experience running through the wash has been fine. There's typically an employee pre-wash station to help get bugs, grime, bird poop and the likes off your ride before entering the automatic wash. As with most washes, there are tiers of service from a basic wash to the full monty. Price ranges from $6 to $15'ish. There are self serve bays after you exit the auto wash. Vacuums with nozzles to clean out the floors and seats. There's also buckets of clean microfiber cloths to allow for manual drying. Man I wish all vendors had these cloths available, it makes a huge difference in how well you clean residual water from the wash. After the hand drying you can use the damp towels to wipe down the dash, interior trim, even windows. It's really a nice touch. Staff is friendly enough. It's a car wash - nobody comes here expecting great service, right? read more

Love this place. I think that the super generous pre-wash that is applied by the sign-language directing attendants sets this place apart from many of the other self-service washes in the area. It just gets the car cleaner, particularly the bugs on the front of the car. I also really like the self-service ordering kiosk that this fast and intuitive. Tip: They do supply complimentary micro-fiber cloths at the finishing/vacuum area, but I normally bring my own. Your car will be reasonably dry at the end, but there will still be spots that need drying. Tip: They offer many deals. For example, every $17 wash comes with a free express wash that is good for 5 days. For an express wash, it is an easy 5*, but you will obviously get better results from a full service shop. read more

This car wash could be amazing but it's lacking and that is the vacuums. The wash is great better then the competitors in town. They spray the front and rear before entering the wash which helps get the dirt off. Once done I think the best part that I hope they never change is they provide rags to wipe off your car and get the stubborn dirt off. Let's face it no auto wash will ever clean a car perfectly . This carwash had to have been designed for little cars. I drive a 4 door Jeep wrangler and I feel like its a battle to get my jeep through the wash. I've found small scratches along my vehicle that weren't there before I came here. Not to mention, the dryers here SUCK! They don't have anyone at the end hand drying your windows to avoid water spots. You have to rely on the two little air dryers to get most of the water off or bring your own towels to dry it yourself. I don't pay money to have to dry it myself. There's many carwashes out there that are cheaper that will still hand dry your car at the end and I will gladly tip them cash. It's not worth the wash with the risk of leaving this place with damage on your vehicle. If you drive anything bigger than a compact car don't come here! read more

When we first started coming here the wash was worth the $17. The last 4-5 times that my husband and I have brought our cars through it hasn't been worth $5. There is barely any soap or hot wax applied to the cars. We kept going back thinking maybe it was an off day/time, nope. In addition the rags are all damp, even in the "dry" bucket, and smell sour. I agree with most of the comments listed below. They do a considerable amount of pre wash which I guess is ok. The hot wax is worth it and no one else has it around. However you will question if you will make it out alive if you are in a Tahoe. That machine is hitting everything on your car that comes out further than a cooper mini. I was very disappointed in the tire shine. I didn't see anything shining. It looked just like a tire wash. No product was added to the tires. The vacuums continued the disappointment with very low power. The nozzle was a nice addition however. In my opinion I think I will continue to go to Jets for my car washing. read more

Great car wash! Been a customer here for a few years and it is still the best car wash for big trucks. Not sure on the max amount of lift but stock 3/4 and 1 ton trucks fit easily. Cleans off all the dirt on the body panels and most off the rims. Well worth $12/17 for mid and high level washes read more

Everytime I go to Fenders I keep my fingers crossed that Lavell is working. He is the hardest worker there and always goes the extra mile to make sure my truck is cleaned well. If Fenders had 10 Lavell's they would be better off. I use Fenders on a regular bases but never get the service I should get unless Lavell is working. The owner is beyond rude. If you have a vehicle with a knob switch transmission then avoid this place. I got rear ended because my truck was being rocked which made it where I could not switch the car in drive and the owner doesn't apologize or even care. He just lectures you on things that he assumes you were doing even though you told him what happened. He'll say you were looking at your phone, taking a nap, didn't pay attention, etc.etc. Just avoid this place. read more

Has to be the worst car wash I've ever paid for. My car was detailed and only had 2 days worth of rain on it after that, so it wasn't very dirty. The wash didn't even get every thing all the minor dirt on the car. Then I get out to vacuum and see it's not even tried worth a damn. I use the clean rags to dry the rest of the car off, and they leave steaks and fuzzy crap everywhere. To top it off, the vacumes aren't very strong either. read more

So I had my Nissan Armada detailed here. It was FILTHY from 2 years of kid's. They made it look like a brand new car again. It was also very very reasonable did everything I got! I also went back in a few days ago ringer my backseat re shampoo'do because my toddler threw up in it and they only charged me 5 bucks! These people are really nice and it's family owned. First time here and I won't be coming back. I paid $17 dollars to have my car come out in worse shape! I got home to find black streaks on the hood of my car, all the dirt and debris on my roof still there, and some odd scratches on my trunk. Just read all the reviews. Your vehicle will get damaged. The owner will not contact you. He will though respond to negative reviews though and still tell you its your fault. Vacuums suck. Tire shine all over the vehicle. Your better off keeping the $12 or $17 bucks and buying a case a beer and not worry about the dirty vehicle. That way you won't have to repair whatever it decides to break or scratch or take it somewhere else to get a better wash. read more

They do a great job pre-washing your vehicle before you enter. Once your done you can park by the vacuums where they provide clean micro-fiber towels to finish drying your car, and make it shine. I get the lowest level wash and have never been disappointed. read more

Have used this car wash since they first opened but today will be my last time. I sat and watched as the young man doing the prewash damaged the chrome on the front of my car with the power washer, and when he told me about it he said he wasn't spraying in that area. A lie, as I watched him jump back when it happened because it startled him. He was holding the power washer about an inch from the surface and had it going full force. When I got out to look, some guy came out and looked and said "No way that happened here. Must have already been damaged." Uh, no it wasn't. He put some blue tape on it so I could finish going through the wash and said "I mean, I can give you a refund if you want..." If you don't automatically GIVE me a refund and at least apologize for the damage your employee caused, that I SAW THEM CAUSE, then you just keep your money. Fenders used to be a really good car wash. I used to praise them and send everyone their way. I can no longer do that. I don't know if they are under new management or not. They used to prep the car really well before the wash. There were at least two guys and they would brush the front bumper in the back and any other areas that would hold dirt. Now you're lucky if they pre-soak it with her little sprayer. The "free" vacuums are not maintained and can't suck up light dirt. I thought it was a fluke the first time it happened so I continued to use them. After three or four horrible washes I am now going to the $3 car wash. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews about this place. There are others in the area that are horrible. I've been coming to this one for awhile and I love how clean it gets my car...PLUS I LOVE how they "pre-wash" your car to get rid of any bugs or dirt that the machine won't. You don't expect to go to the car wash and have your car messed up. I wish I would have just kept my car dirty. It's easier to fix dirt than a paint job. The left entrance is extremely narrow and there is a huge sign that is much too close to the curb, as evident from the countless skid marks down the side. I have driven trucks and trailers since youth and the attendant there told me it must be my driving and that I was a first. What a lie...I showed him the skid marks and he just got angrier. The very rude man then sprayed me with the hose he was using...I guess he was done talking. I hope they fix the problem so it doesn't happen to anyone else. I needed my car washed later than most washes are open, but I I opened Yelp and hoped for the best... And found Fenders. Not only were they open until 8, but they accepted cash as well as cards at their automated machine. Use of the vacuums is free, and the vacuums were not only effective (which is not always the case at self-service washes), but the facility was clean, too (another rarity). I took my vehicle there it left with not just scratches but damage to the vehicle and left brush indentions. I called and they told me don't worry our manager takes care of things so please come during such and such hours. I did and the manager said, I am going to have you work with another employee. They denied it could have happen there but I am 100% sure it did and the employee said you can fill out this claims form but it won't help you because our wash didn't do it.
