Yayayay Feng Cha is in Arlington! If you didn't know, there was a previous location in Richardson - right by UTD. Basically, if you go here, try their milk foams. That's what feng cha is known for. Not only are there typical sea salt milk foams, there's also matcha flavored milk foam! The tea are cute little tea leaves in a triangle package, which stays in your cup so it can continue to taste stronger rather than being watered down by ice. There's also fresh fruit drink options, if you're not into tea. Milk tea is available as well, although be warned that milk tea is rather more milky and not very preferable within their menu. Eventually Feng Cha Arlington well start selling desserts, just like the Richardson location so come back and try that too! 12/5 Update: The jasmine green tea is so good~ It's better than the earl grey, roasted oolong and rose oolong imo! Still prefer the sea salt foam to the cheese and matcha ones as well. New favorite place in Arlington. Seriously though, even though new boba places are sprouting up like crazy lately, this one manages to stand out. First of all, the decor is simple but sooo adorable; it's perfect for meetups and photos (if you're not self conscious i.e. myself I'm talking about myself). They also have the standard board games and decks of cards and even mini pool tables lol. I don't really discount a place based on decor, because I really don't care unless it's a flaming dumpster fire, but I just had to mention how cute it was, from the big teddy bears, white tree, and the little heart stopper on all the cups! Second of all, the service is great, the workers give off an easygoing vibe and they bring out your drinks to you with a smile (although I did go during soft opening, I don't know if they'll keep on doing this if it gets busy). Third of all, the drinks and treats are so GOOD. I'm seriously in love. I got the rose oolong tea with cheese milk foam and boba. My friend got the roasted oolong with...sea salt milk foam? Something like that, I forgot lol, but it was really good! I preferred the roasted oolong to the rose oolong, but obviously if you're really partial to rose flavor, try it out! I also liked the sea salt foam more than the cheese foam on mine as well, but it really is all down to taste because you can't seem to go wrong here! The treats are good toooooo; so far they only have cakes because they're just starting out but more might be coming soon I think, because I know the location in Richardson has tofu donuts? Anyway, the cakes were really tasty; I had the taro chocolate and my friend had the strawberry one. They both kind of remind me of tres leches or some other type of cream cake; they both came out in a puddle of sweet milk (it's better than it sounds lol). The taro chocolate didn't have much taro or chocolate flavor really; it seems the topping contains that flavor and the base for all the cakes is the same. I didn't care that much though because it was just plain good~ My friend's strawberry cake was better even; it had strawberry puree and was more flavorful. Okay I'll start with the tea because that's what this place is all about. The milk tea was some of the best I've had in Arlington. Super balanced, very strong tea flavor, just enough milk and sugar to make it milk tea but not to dilute it or make it like a Starbucks drink which is a common theme at other tea shops on Cooper. The matcha love cake was to die for. Super light, airy, fluffy, spongy, not too sweet cake swimming in a foamy, slightly bitter, flavorful matcha cream and topped with two crispy, crunchy, adorable and rather sweet white chocolate matcha kitkats. I shared it but I shouldn't have, I could've demolished that baby all by myself. I'm on a mission to try every cake they've got. Next is doubtlessly going to be the taro chocolate. Even though this might just be another boba place on Cooper Street, I love that Feng Cha has a different concept than most places! One of my go-to places in Arlington now. The atmosphere of this particular location is wonderful. The layout is super cute, the music playlist is always nice, and the workers are so sweet. Since Fengcha specializes in tea, I'm happy with the selection. My personal favorite is the Peach oolong tea with basil seeds. It is a mild tea with a hint of peach sweetness so it's not overwhelming to drink at all. The basil seeds are a plus that finishes off the drink well. I'd also reccommend the fresh fruit tea, Kiwi Basil. It's another mild tea but has a good balance of kiwi sweetness and basil. I don't like sour kiwi drinks so this was wonderful. Fengcha overall is very mild with it's flavor since everything is tea based. Don't expect too much sweetness from the milk teas or teas but I highly reccommend everyone try this location at least once just for a nice afternoon/evening teatime experience. One thing I'd want more from this location is if they included passion fruit fresh fruit tea like their fellow Dallas location. It'd also be nice if they encouraged returning customers to reuse their cups after their initial purchase just so it's a little more environmental friendly (their cups are sooo nice and it's a waste to toss them after one use). read more

So glad that there's a boba shop a little closer to home that serves cheese foam! Instead of having to go all the way to Carrollton near H-Mart I can go to Arlington, stop by the Poke place next door and walk over to grab some good boba drinks!
