I was promised healing dentures then permanent dentures after extraction of my teeth. I received the healing dentures that looked good and fit well. When I went back for the permanent dentures they were ill fitting and a completely different shape and size. I couldn't swallow water while wearing them and I couldn't even bite down or close my mouth because they were too big the actual size of the teeth were too large and was buck tooth now. So after 4 tries after 4 different sets of dentures I have given up and will have to settle for the healing dentures. I want to give doctor Shaffer the credit she is due for trying but the process of measuring the mouth was changed to a digital machine that was used to scan the teeth. This so called Latest technology process doesn't work. The original way with the so called goop is messy and uncomfortable but it worked properly. Doctor Ferber has terrible bedside manner and is arrogant as he'll. The only part that he was present for was the selling. I felt pressured by him to make a decision right away. As soon as the financial aspect was finished he wasn't involved with any part of the process after that. I feel like I got scammed by a used car salesperson. The waiting room plays a video of him selling his so called expertise and how his business gives you the best product. He did not deliver on that i received a healing set of dentures and never was satisfied .with the 4 sets of permanent dentures that don't fit in my mouth and are painful to wear and look ridiculous. One day my front tooth literally fell out of my mouth. I had been told acid from my stomach was rotting my teeth. I called Ferber and was invited in to see Dr Ferber in 30 minutes. He spent over 90 minutes with me and went over his diagnosis. I found him to be professional and genuine. I've since started my treatment and have had several appointments. I am very very impressed with the office staff, doctors and nurses. A couple of times I had a concern and was invited in, in 30 minutes. They always spend a generous amount of time with me. I have been to that office for more than 5 years. They have had to put the implants twice. They keep falling off. They have to make the dentures twice. No matter how many times they try to fix them. I use them only for eating. Never can keep them on because they hurt to much. The last time I went there was because one of the gistmos that connect the implats to the dentures has fallen off, even though they were replace 6 months prior. Dr. Ferber and his team are amazing. It was my first time in his office and I was surprised at the level of service. I went there for an emergency (to me), I had this shooting pain in my teeth and didn't know what was going on and my normal dentist wasn't available. I came in as a walk in and they were able to see me and diagnose that I needed a root canal! I was not very happy about that, but they were able to offer a procedure that was not like other root canals I've had before, not painful and best of all, quick and solved my problem! Recently went in to Ferber Dental Group for a exam/consultation which went fine. I scheduled a deep cleaning/arestin treatment the following week which also went fine. I then went back for a root canal. Came back 2 weeks later for a post and temporary crown which mostly went fine except with problems taking the dental impressions for the permanent crown. 2 weeks later when I came in for the permanent crown is when the problems really started. The lab kept making the permanent crown incorrectly. The first attempt at the permanent crown didn't work - additional xrays and impressions and I was told to come back in 2 weeks later and sent home with the temporary crown. That attempt at the permanent crown also didn't work. More impressions and xrays and sent home again with the temporary crown. Told to come back in 2 weeks and the lab finally got it right. So I had to miss many hours at work - had to wear the temporary crown for over 6 weeks (supposed to be 2 weeks), additional pain/discomfort with all the additional dental impressions and xrays. HORRIBLE experience. I will not be going back to Ferber Dental Group. read more

I am in agreement with all these reviews. I cannot even give them 1 star. I went there last week as I broke a front tooth. I have limited money and only wanted that one tooth taken care of at that point. After telling me I needed a full set of xrays at 120 dollars to look at one tooth, he then proceeded to tell me that if I was not committed to fixing all the work that needed to be done I needed to go elsewhere. I had also popped a cap and wanted it recemented. He said he would have an "assistant do that,for 90 dollars". I said what are you saying and his reply was you have more time than money, you are better off going to a dental school clinic which had a three to 4 month wait. He then had someone walk me to the cashier to gave me pay 210 dollars before someone would cement my cap. He is an extremely poor excuse for a dentist and a poor excuse for a person. I just had my implant bridge placed in and could not be happier ..really. The whole experience was professionally done by doctors and their teams. It took longer than I thought it would take but I totally understand and happy they didn't rush me. Extractions with bone grafting and Implants are surgery and healing cannot be rushed. AND the price he gave me was less than 1/2 of what other offces offered. I have to tell you I was shocked at what everyone else was charging for just an implant alone. I was quoted anywhere from $ 1200 to $ 1900 FOR JUST THE IMPLANT. So needless to say paying only $499 was terrific and then they gave me 5% more off. My implants and the bridge was less 1/2 that what other offices were charging for just 2 implants. Who does that? read more

I made an appointment to see Dr. Ferber. I also took off from work early, and drove 40 miles to see him. I had all my x-rays forwarded to him prior to my appointment. When I got there I found out that Dr. Ferber never had the common courtesy of even looking at my x-rays much less even looked into my mouth. Dr. Ferber then told me he could not help me as my case was too "elevated" for him. I also taped his television commercial on ABC wherein he advertises he can help anyone have teeth in one day! A complete farce. I am in dire need of implants and he said he could NOT help me. How can a doctor advertise on television about his practice when he does not live up to his words. He gave me a paper with the name of Addison Prosthodontics for implants. Clearly, Dr. Feber does not do this, and at this point, I'm not sure what Dr. Ferber actually does. Snap in teeth? I don't think so! I will surely contact ABC for false advertising. read more

Horrible experience! The dentist & staff treated my elderly parents horrible. After my mother(a nurse for many years) corrected the incompetent staff how to take blood pressure correctly, the staff became defensive. Then the office accused my parents of being "non compliant." IMPLANT GONE BAD AND HOW THEY TREAT YOU. How abut "$714 for implant removal, Bone graft $546 graft (first), $540 temporary "called flipper". The forgoing does not include new implant, abutment and crown. Was promised by Dr. Brian Ferber that $1800 included everything and was urged to sign a release thinking that the 'flipper" was the replacement. Paid $800 by credit card of the $1800 and was told to come back the next morning. Did so and they wanted another $1000 and was informed of the above pricing. I left and never got the $800 back. My first Yelp review! And what a better way to do it than for Dr. Ferber and his WHOLE staff. I was certainly due for a dental check-up, and did not just want to go to any dentist, had a couple of poor service experiences before. So, a couple of friends from work knew Dr. Ferber from a family connection and recommended him and it was just an overall great experience. I had my appointment yesterday, and as soon as I got in, the staff was really really nice and I just had to wait around 7 minutes before it was my turn. This is without a doubt the worst dental practice I have ever used. This office is nothing but a factory. You never see the same technician twice and I never saw the head Dentist after my first appointment. I contracted for extractions and the placement of 3 implants for a total of over $8000.00. The office made sure I paid upfront. I had some problems with the extractions process but came through it fine. All my problems started when they made my "temporary" bottom denture. I traveled over 1 1/2 hours every time. The temporary not only was not wearable because of the fit but the teeth were not straight. Every visit (5 times) they tried to blame my mouth! I finally got Dr. Ferber involved and they agreed to do a total new denture. Then I talked to a new periodontist. Of course no one told me that my original dentist had left, nor did they introduce me to the new one. He told me I might have to have bone built up inorder to do the implants - so they took an xray and MRi and I was told someone would call me to tell me if I needed bone built up. NO ONE ever called me. Two weeks later I called Dr. Ferber. By this time I was done with this office. To make matters worse, they revised the original bill; lowered the cost of extractions and charged for a procedure that was not done. I obtained my record from them and it's quite clear they did not do this procedure but they want to charge me $1000 for it. DON'T USE THIS OFFICE - THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND THIEVES!!!!!!!! read more
