We live in the marina (and absolutely love it) and space is always an issue. Space space space.....it's haunting lol. So the trick, as many of us city dwellers know, it to keep the clutter down to a minimum, which unfortunately forces us to shop and continue to replace "clutter" with new and improved "important items". In these scenarios, having a guy like Fergus just makes you feel like you have "people". A simple call and were done dealing with whatever needs to be moved down three flights of stairs. We've used Fergus a few times and plan to continue- because he's on time, polite with the ole Irish Charm, and has a back like some kind of superhero along with his associates. Fergus knows what he's doing- you're not going to get some rookie dropping your Mom's armoire down the stairs and then running away (no that didn't happen to me in the past but it's my worst fear haha) Every time you see that cool thing that you need a mover for, even if you're walking down the street and spot some EPIC piece of furniture for free (seriously have you ever seen the stuff people put on the curb in the marina?) you could practically stand by it, call Fergus, and he would show up- it's on the edge of a magic trick :) So keep using the guy because he appreciates the business, and you can find him pretty easily by searching for him by his name Fergus O'Sullivan. read more

Efficient and painless.... I had a rather large couch and a narrow hallway... Fergus and one other man came to the door.... Maneuvered the couch and were out in less than 5 minutes! We called Fergus on a Sunday for an extremely last minute junk pick up. I wasn't expecting them to be able to come out, but they got to my home in half an hour! They were extremely friendly and did practically all the heavy-lifting on their own (i won't lie, i'm in major need of upper body strength) and were extremely fast! They cleared out all the junk in a half hour and were ready to go! What really stood out was that we had a bag thrown out that we were supposed to keep, and Fergus fixed the accident for us pretty much! I just moved to the city and called Fergus in the afternoon for a last minute craigslist pick-up of a heavy bookcase. He let me know that it would be doable, gave me a quote and had me text him the pick-up information He told me he'd get a hold of me at 4pm for an exact ETA. Sure enough at 4:00 on the dot I received a text from Fergus, coordinating the pick-up. I met him and another guy at the pick-up location to find out that the bookcase needed to be disassembled, which I hadn't mentioned to Fergus. He didn't seem to mind though and didn't charge me extra for disassembling/reassembling it. The whole process took less than an hour. Highly recommend. read more
