No one had it for 30 miles -- not Glenn's or Oleson's or the IGA, not Toski Sands, not Pond Hill. My mother had discovered this little store that sells all the unusual spices you're looking for. They don't carry mahleb, a ground cherry seed I needed for breakfast bread (ironic since we're in the middle of cherry country), but they do have most spices you'll find in the recipes from Food & Wine or the Times food section.

Lots of beautiful and thoughtful kitchen gear and gadgets reasonably priced. The sale was on and we got some good deals. Wine gifts and housewares, beach decor and pottery. I hear people love their spice selection and while i normally enjoy spices I haven't really taken the time to look at them. They also have coffee, tea and some mixes. If you happen to be in Harbor Springs stop in. I think it's worth a visit and make sure you go through to the back of the shop to see all the goodies.

It started with a visit to their lovely store in Petoskey, which has a huge selection of tile, granite and marble to choose from, along with well-informed staff who take their time to answer all your questions. Bill and Randy are the co-owners, and are always accessible and easy to talk to. The whole experience has been great, from my multiple visits to the warehouse, (which is like a candy store for kitchen remodelers) to the on the job work of their expert template cutter, and installation. My home is a full log lake house, and each counter had to be custom scribed to the uneven logs in the kitchen and bathrooms. Capital Granite took their time, and made sure that everything was perfect. Understand that my home renovations were interrupted by Covid-19, as were most of the businesses in Michigan. Bill and Randy went the extra mile to ensure I was happy despite the virus disruptions, and I could not recommend the company more. Would give them 10 stars.

I called Frigidaire they set up an appointment but they said call TRI Lakes appliance repair. I called and spoke with Tammy, there she actually got me in two days earlier for the repair. She was extremely helpful in setting up the appointment and making sure that she had the information so that it would be only one time I gave her the model and serial number. She is responded back to my emails even if it's at 7:00 or 8:00 at night. They set up the appointment with Brian. Brian came out with all the parts necessary to repair it but the number for the some of the parts were not even in Frigidaire system yet he put in the ones that it showed going in there but they did not work because Frigidaire had not the updated parts for the new model. Brian walked me through the process for getting Frigidaire all the information needed for this to be completed. Brian called it the day before to confirm appointment and said he would be out later in the afternoon to make sure the parts came in for my new Frigidaire oven. The parts came in but he came early when he got the parts and it said a 5:00 came at like 3:00 and called me on the way. Great guy. Both Brian and Tammy help me with Frigidaire and getting and taking care of my oven and warranty issues. This is a great company great customer service, great service people. I wish all the companies I ever worked with or as good as them. I lived in a 40 unit condo complex and was the board president and head of Maintenance. If all my vendors were as good as them my life would have been easy. I don't know what more to say again great company great service and knowledgeable
