I had the BEST service from Cameron Berry at Appliance Warehouse. I recently purchased a new…read morewashing machine. He listened to what I was looking for and what I was not. No high pressure, just honest conversation about my options. I am very happy with my purchase and the service I received.

I have no expectations that this review will turn a light on for anyone, or change behavior, or…read moresales practices. But perhaps it will. I've been saving for a new washer/dryer for about a year now. I've had positive and good experiences with Appliance Warehouse before, so I went back. I had my sites set on a specific stacked unit but the salesman was easily able to convince me otherwise, in that, if one part blew the whole thing was lost. So it was easy to change my mind about buying the washer/dryer as separate units instead. We discussed the height of the stacked units and would that be a challenge for me. No big deal. The additional space I'd gain was worth standing on my toes. The entire process was not without commentary about "the Chinese taking American jobs, Ukrainians trying to scam us, and even his wife who apparently doesn't load the dishwasher correctly". Did he think he was in the company of someone with similar ideologies? I was here to buy appliances, not discuss the global impact of capitalism. And for the record, I believe every human, void of territorial boundaries, deserves the right to work, earn an income, and care for their families. Fast forward to delivery of goods. All went well until it was discovered the cables and hoses weren't going to be long enough given the desired placement. I had already put out $600 to move the plumbing for this renovation job, so yes, I wanted it where I wanted it. These specs should have been part of the sales process, those specific questions should have been addressed then-how big is the room, where are the outlets, where is the access point for the drain and inlet hoses? If I had known I needed something other than the standard sizes, I would have been prepared, as I had a very limited window of time for this project. I'm an expert in my own field and I did expect expert level inquiry from someone in the appliance field. My bad. Do you ever just want something to go your way? The delivery guys left (a trail of mud through my house along with a puddle of water from a dripping hose-but it's March in Maine and I can't exactly fault them for that-it's just one more mess for this overworked teacher to clean up) and advised me to just buy new stuff on Amazon. Ok. What? What do I need? What's the amperage and voltage needs? Will the warranty still be in effect? Will you be coming back to do the installation? Instead of making a phone call, I opted to go back to the store. While there, we reviewed the final fees, subtracted out removal fees, added the stacking fees and I requested additional credit, given that the units I had just bought days before, had now gone on sale. That took some of the sting away. But. I'm still left with two heavy stacked appliances in the middle of my 6' x 6' room that I now need to install, move, and level myself? Can I? Yes. Is it frustrating to me that I have to? Also yes. First world American problem? Indeed. So, my new cables and hoses will arrive next week...from China. In the meantime I guess I will be tripping over my tool boxes and other laundry room detritus until I can take a break from teaching my liberal college agenda, to finish the work a man said they'd do.

Suggest not using LP appliance out of westbrook…read more.. I go in Monday. Pick out the dishwasher and he says they will come out Wednesday to install. he says they will give me a call. Come wednesday, I wait til about 11 am (after they open at 9) today and call. He says yup we've got you on the schedule for sometime this afternoon. I wait and call back at 3:15pm (because they close at 4) and say hey I'm just checking on that install since I know you close at 4. He says "did you call mark?" I'm like I wasn't given marks info. I haven't heard anything since I called this morning. He said "he will leave a note. Mark should be back around 4/4:30." i vocalize that i stayed home specifically today because i was told the install would be today and am gone thursday, friday and all next week. I call back 3:55 to get marks number and of course go to voice-mail. "Closed for the day". I'll just go somewhere else at this point. I then get a voice-mail the next morning from Ryan "The is Ryan from LP appliance, give me a call when you get the chance. I'm sorry about yesterday but it sounds like you'll be happy to go someplace else. I saw your little display on Facebook (meaning my factual review of this experience) on Facebook. Give me a call. " I don't know about you but the passive aggressiveness is seeping out of that voice-mail and I think I will do business elsewhere

I stopped by to inquire about having a reversing valve in my Whynter heat pump (portable ac unit with heat) and as I had already done the troubleshooting and identified that the reversing valve is the problem and this unit uses the same universal reversing valve found in many hvac units. I found the exact part on Amazon for $12.95. They said they don't know if they can source the part. Really? I just finished telling you boomers that I already identified the part and it is a fairly universal part. I was perfectly willing to pay a few hundred for the part to be replaced as I no longer have torches for brazing nor AC gauges to charge it properly. Good grief. Stop complaining about Amazon if you are turning away business, especially where you have an engineer who already identified not only what is wrong, but that this particular model doesn't even use a universal part. If I had the torches, goggles, a vacuum pump, and the gauges, I would repair it myself. Why are you turning away what would have been an extremely easy job and a quick couple hundred bucks in pure profit? What the heck is wrong with brick and mortars today? Y'all don't want to work anymore.

I connected the PC to another monitor, and it was recognized immediately, so I knew the problem was the monitor. I went to the Best Buy website for support. After about 10 minutes trying to get past the chatbot, it finally said it was connecting me to Geek Squad. I waited another five minutes, and then the chat timed out and closed. Based on my experience, if you have a problem with a product from Best Buy, getting support is nearly impossible.

I was told it would probably be an hour-hour 1/2 from that time, so roughly an hour at most for install. No problem, I went into the mall and shopped around. An hour and 20 minutes later (ish) I went back and he said would be another hour or so. Great, puts me behind schedule but what can I do, so I went back it not he mall for lunch and more window shopping. An hour and 15 (ish) later I went back and it wasn't done yet, said another 30 or so then done. I went into the Best Buy and cruised around for another 45 minutes or so, went back and was told - almost done. I waited and got my car, drove it to the trailer to load back up and noticed the camera was installed using the plug in for the power outlet (cig lighter) instead of hard wired in. I went back into the install bay and he had started another car, took a minute to answer my question and told me that the camera I had could only be installed that way. I thought not was weird, but took him for his word and left. Back on the road I wads thinking about it and when I got stopped for fuel a few hours later I took a look at the box and then online, the guy had lied to me. I was pretty ticked. While back on the road I called the Geek Squad - BB customer service line and spoke to someone there who confirmed, this unit can be either hard wired or plugged in. I told her the situation and how he lied to me, she put me on hold and called the store, spoke to the tech and came back to me with his apology that he had issues with he wire harness or some BS lie, that he just got it hooked up how he could. One of the features of this camera is it will detect if someone hits it while parked and record, but in the outlet it could not as it had tho power when off - PLUS I could not use the outlet for my phone charger or whatever. She offered to get me back into the same store the next day, which wouldn't work. I expressed I was already hours away and I had a time frame to be in NC, I was already late. She booked me an appointment in Charlotte for a few days later and said they might charge. I said NOPE, no charge. I Willa argue that - she took care of it to ensure it didn't happen. I also received a call back from the manager in charge of the Portland Maine install department and we went over the issue, I expressed how being lied too was bad business, let alone just what was he doing that entire time to make it so late only o have half assed the job. The manager offered me a 250.00 gift card for my time and I said, I don't know how much longer this will take, let's talk bout it after the installation is done. In Charlotte at install, they did the job right in far less time than the clown in Portland had it and also informed me that they were guessing the guy in Portland could not get the paneling off under the dash due to the damage on it from the attempted (or successful?) removal, and had shown me the gouges and scratches. I was even more ticked. I called the Portland Manger back and expressed my displeasure at this new information, he said to get an estimate of the damage and let him know. I called him several times, no call backs. For months, called multiple times, no call backs. I finally filed a dispute with the Better Business Bureau and honestly I am beyond disappointed in this location and my experience.

I never felt rushed or pushed for a sale. He made sure I understood each result and answered all my questions. We then went over the systems and again wasn't pushed to go more then needed. I had asked about something another company told me i needed but based on my water results he let me know I didn't need it and save the money. Installation went smooth and the install tech walked me through the system and how to make changes if I wanted to. I would recommend Chris and Pure Water to anyone looking for a system. Not just a great system that Im very happy with but great service and folks that care

After a year having a new water system installed, one tank started spurting water. I called,…read moree-mailed and texted Chris, the seller, to no avail, (two weeks). After I called another number I was told that another tech from Augusta would come down. The man told me that the tank that was spurting had a crack in the head. He turned the bypass off and it stopped leaking after a while. He told me there were three tanks I did not need and to fix it, it would take another $8,000.00 and that was at a discount. I had already paid the Pure Experts almost $14,000.00, so I told him I was going to get another opinion with another accredited water system company (the Pure Experts and Aerus are not accredited by the BBB). I wouldn't recommend the company to anyone!!! Since this writing, I have found out things I cannot divulge. "The Pure Experts" on Warren Avenue, Portland,ME are scammers! Period!!!!
