For what you pay and all the trouble of loading and bringing back, just buy new from Home Depot or Lowe's with year warranty and in home repair service.

They are only after a quick buck. My initial interaction with the salesman was fine, albeit a it cold, as in temperature and demeanor. I signed the sale slip and tapped my card not thinking anything of it. I bought the cheapest set I could find for $500, $675 after delivery fees and tax. Keep in mind I paid a delivery and installation fee at the time of purchase, as well as was given a 30 day warranty on the machines. My delivery comes around, and the two men show up late (not surprised, as that happens). They can't get the washer and dryer through my doorway from the kitchen to the mudroom, so they have to go around. The guy clearly didn't want to and it was a major inconvenience, although the other entrance isn't very far and only has two more steps than the front so its not like there were a ton of stairs. He thought about it and finally went around. They hooked up the washer no problem once they got it in, but the dryer had an issue. It was a 4 prong plug for a 3 prong outlet. Pro tip, you need to know whether your hookup has a 3 or 4 pronged outlet. That is something they won't tell you. So I explained to them that no one had told me that would be an issue and asked what I could do. They said no problem its an easy fix, you just need to switch out the cord/plug. I said okay cool, and one of the guys walked away. I asked the one with me if they would be able to replace it today since they had one either in the truck or at the shop and he said oh yeah for sure and I said okay so you guys will come back for the install today (I paid for installation- remember)? He said I would have to ask the other guy, so when he returned I did. He said they could do that, but they would charge me a fee. I explained to him that no one explained there were different plug types for dryers, it came with the purchase, and I paid for install with purchase. He said new dryers dont ususally come with cords. I said okay well this isnt a new dryer and it did come with a cord so I would like this one to be replaced with the correct one and installed please. He said he would do it for $50. I said fine I guess. He looked at me like 'really, I dont want to do all that'. He said they only take case, but I dont have $50 cash. I asked if there was any other way to pay or to pay through the store (remember that, too) and he said no and that was impossible to do because he was a different company for the store. I said I need a working dryer, what else am I supposed to do. He said I could get the replacement and do it myself so I had him show me how. The way he communicated it sounded like they were taking the cord with them and bringing me back the right one to attach myself. I was wrong. The man said I needed to go back to the shop and do it myself. Fine, whatever. I went back (literally following their truck because we were going to the same location) and saw the same guy in the parking lot. I went in, got a replacement and the same sales guy was nice enough to me. That one didn't work so he gave me another one and told me it wasn't the cord or the machine it was my house. I said I have a warranty so someone can come take a look tomorrow, he said okay and I gave up for the night (which really threw off my plans and frustrated me I want to add). This afternoon the service guys came out at 3. They tested the outlet and it was dead. This is super shady. He goes, "I'll make it work for you, but itll cost $100." and I said "If I get a working dryer today I will pay you $100". He RAN to the electrical box and flipped the breaker for the outlet. I told him I had tried the breaker, but I had done the main one thinking it would trip all of them. It makes me so mad, why not just tell me? Oh right I forgot this is a google review for an unethical sleezy cash grab operated by dishonest men. So I said "You're charging me $100 to flip my breaker?" to which he replied "I'm not arguing with you we made a deal". I didnt have cash so he said I could charge it to the store on the phone. Remember how that was impossible the night before? Yeah I thought so. So when they were leaving I said I would call the store for payment. This man stands in my home and says no I wanna see you call. So I said okay I'll call right now! But made them move to the porch. I made him show me which breaker he flipped and paid over the phone. The initial fee is $50. But without telling the man at the store, he charged me the $100, plus $12 for taxes. So in total I paid nearly $800 for these beat up old washer and dryer combo. Summary: Just go to Facebook market place, better luck there and the people are better to deal with (and that can be saying something).
