DO NOT EVER shop at Ferguson Plumbing on Indian School Rd, if you are a consumer. At the Indian School location, I was given the complete runaround, and they waited on FOUR MEN ahead of me while I waited. Even getting to the counter brought zero results. They were going to "call me" this morning, but didn't even ask for my phone number. I can't really explain how dreadful this location is. The main pressure regulator for my house had a leak, I went to Home Depot and bought a gasket and reassemble and just a few days later it started leaking even worse than before! I went to Ferguson to find a solution and they had it! The staff was very helpful listen to my problem and went through available options, they sold me a $6 gasket that I was able to cut to size to fit perfectly. We were on the verge of calling a plumber but with the help of the staff and only $6 I was able to fix the problem permanently. Highly recommend them read more

I have been into this location a few times since I moved to Phoenix. The guys there are very knowledgeable and helpful. However, they are generally expensive and they almost always have to order what you need from California. For example, I just called them to inquire about purchasing a couple of high-end Franke drinking-water filters that we have hooked up to our sinks. They wanted me to order a dozen, as they don't sell them individually and they wanted to charge me $76.00 bucks each plus tax PLUS shipping! Now the good folks a few blocks over at Clyde Hardware have them in stock, available by single unit for only $57.00 each plus tax. What I have learned is that sometimes going to the little guys actually pays off. So shop around! Having said that they are about a specialty plumbing as you can get so if it's something to do with plumbing, they'll have it, or if not they can get it for you. read more

I had a really bad and unforgettable experience with this company recently. I needed the 3 different stem and bonnets for shower knobs. I brought the old ones into the Tempe location because several people from hardware stores was saying it is such a great place to get these parts from. Well when I walked in the door I was greeted by 3 people but nobody was able to assist me for several minutes as they all walked around saying the F word at least 5 times each and going on about things you just don't say in front of customers. Finally the guy says ok I can help you now. He says there is and endless amount of them back there "if I can find it, good luck", we get back there and there is only like 5 different types, and only 1 left that matches one of mine. Quantity 1. I needed all 3 and one of them is different, its kind of important for them to all match brand and size wise so they all need to be from the same place. I buy the one for a decent price compared to everywhere else for any type of this item. I asked him if I can order the rest by calling in, he says well to be honest we don't have a phone number for customers to call so here is my direct line he wrote it on a piece of paper. I get home, the phone number he gave me was not valid. I then installed the one that I have and it fit, so then I stupidly I called and ordered the other two but after the fact I realized the one I already had was missing the back piece that goes into the pipe and I noticed it looked like it had been used and returned (wrench marks on it before I installed it). I needed to replace the whole thing for the repair to actually work because with the old one it does not! Well, first of all the guy had promised me I would have the other 2 the next day UPS absolutely no problem. Then he calls me around 345PM and says we missed the truck you can have it in like 3 or 4 days I said no that isn't going to work for me can I come pick it up right now I am coming from Tempe. He said sure no problem, they will be there waiting for you. I literally got up from eating a $75 meal for two at restaurant put it in a box and got in my car and started my trip to Indian School Rd to pick up my parts. I get there and they closed at 4:30, it was 4:45 by the time I got all the way out there it was rush hour and a real nightmare to get through in the time that I did. I didn't enjoy it one bit. I called the phone number again, I guess it is a call center and these guys over there.. like 3 different guys they all wanted to argue with me, blame me tell me how it's my fault for not checking the hours before I went there.. no dude that is your job literally to let me know it's too close and to wait until tomorrow. I asked to speak the their manager and someone gets on the phone and you know what he goes to blame me, he said "Oh well we called you at 3PM and its 4:45 so you took to long who cares its your fault we don't care" is basically the gist he gave me. Then he went on to say "well I'll give you a refund and you can go take your business somewhere else because we don't actually have the part at that store anyways" and then he hung up on me. No refund on my account. Now I have lost about $40 and I seriously doubt I will get my parts. This is straight up theft and I have had about enough of local businesses treating everybody I know this way it get's old really quick. I was really mad and probably not very nice but these guys can't handle this simplest of tasks and cannot act professional in front of customers why in the world should anyone trust them for anything more is beyond me. People that act like this (everywhere you go around here) make me not want to live in this state at all anymore. Why is everybody such a piece of crap out here I don't get it? You guys you ruined my evening and you could have made this all so much simpler but no you had to put me through that because every single one of you is too good to admit when you are wrong. Now I have to literally find somewhere else to get all this crap from because I totally don't feel comfortable with any of this. I don't appreciate it one bit thanks a lot guys!
