No background music, no literature laying around. etc. Finally a sales rep comes out from some hidden place, and he was very nice, friendly, knowledgeable and professional, but was unable to fully answer all of our questions. When we called him later on his cell phone there was no voice mailbox available, so we thought that was wierd too. Eventually we did purchase what we were looking for, but it has not been delivered yet, sooooooo, the final jury is still out. We don't feel very attached, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that everything works out as we have been assured.

I was met promptly coming through the door and they answered all of my questions. My appliance was delivered within 2 days. Delivery was quick and I saved on a service fee by having both my seal and the stove done at the same time. My delivery person was nice. He came in and got the job done. I haven't gotten a chance to use my stove yet but everything seems to be working. The delivery person cleaned up after himself on the way out and took my old unit with him which I did pay for. Their delivery prices were very reasonable. Every unit on their floor appears to come with a warranty which I really liked. Most of their items are used/refurbished/open box items so I felt a lot more confident purchasing knowing there was a warranty and the items had been inspected.

Misdiagnosed, expensive repair, doesn't stock parts…read more Prompt reply and came right away. $85 service charge is pretty common and typical for diagnostics. Determined it was a burned pump and quoted $350 to repair. But he included a 2nd $85 charge for another return visit. Other operators stock parts and don't require a 2nd visit. I even asked ahead if he would have parts for this model and he assured me he would have them. I ended up just buying a new dishwasher. When the installers came, they found that the hose was clogged and so I shouldn't have even needed a replacement. This should have been a very simple repair. Instead I wasted $85 on an incorrect diagnosis and spent $600 on a new dishwasher I didn't need. Be sure to confirm that repairs can be made the same day. And be sure that your service tech does a thorough inspection of hose lines.

I called around some other appliance places to try to get somebody out right away to try to salvage the rest of my food, but nobody could come out the same day. Five star appliance, on the other hand, after saying that I was very concerned over my food, managed to find a way to fit me in for the day. The technician who arrived on time was very kind and very thorough and diagnosed me with a broken compressor. We talked about some options and he let me know what the warranty would look like and other details and helped me make a decision on how to proceed. I did choose to go with buying a new refrigerator and I think that was a good decision and 5 star helped me make it. I will definitely call them in the future for other appliance repair needs. Their pricing was fair. They were prompt and they were courteous.

They called and schedule a time to come out, technician comes to the door on the phone with someone else (very unprofessional). I show him the ice maker which hadn't been working properly for several months. He says "there's ice stuck in there thats why it's not working". I say I know Captain Obvious thats why I called for it to be repaired. I explained to him the issues i was having and he doesn't even look at the ice maker and says we will order a new one. It takes a week and a half with no response and I have to call them for an update. Miraculously they say the picked up the new ice maker that day. I schedule a time for them to come out and the technician installs it and says it should make ice in about 3 hours....no luck doesn't work. I leave 4 text messages to the owner with no response. I finally call him and he says he will call me back to schedule a time to come look at it. 2 days later no response so i call him and he says "he's trying but they are really busy". Still no definite time given they will come to look at it. This goes on for several more days. I finally call warranty company to complain and they put in another claim...i confirm with the owner that they got the new claim and he would call to schedule an appointment. 3 more days pass and no communication. I called warranty company again and they reach the owner and he lies to them and tells them he "texted me but i never responded". I have since transferred the claim to another contractor. This company is beyond amateur hour. Zero organization and communication skills. If you like waiting for several days to get a response for subpar work they are the number 1 company to call!

However, there's a new manager on the scene now, and his obnoxious behavior has just about made me decide to shop elsewhere when I need another appliance. He charged me $101 for an unavoidable second visit to move an appliance, by dolly, from one room to another. The process took about five minutes. When I wrote to him and mentioned my 40 years of loyalty and the ease of the job, offering to pay half of that amount, he used AI and sent an almost sarcastic response conveying that my long-term loyalty did not matter, that he cared only about the fact that his team was out using up gas. It was obvious that in his mind, I--the customer--didn't count. So beware; this new manager cares about PROFIT, not about the CUSTOMER!! I hope his tenure is a short one.
