Ferguson's Downtown is an excellent shopping center! We got there late in the day, but managed to stop into several stores. LV Plant Collective - fantastic store with live healthy plants (cacti, strings of things, succulents, pothos, indoor plants, air plants, money trees, and merchandise Tofu Tees - An eclectic store with shirts, stickers, pins, jewelry, bookmarks, books, crochet items, and home decor. It's a very cute store!! Nikdreamer - Crystals, rocks, stones, handmade crystal jewelry, shirts, jewelry, and silversmithing classes on Sundays Electric Rabbit - Used bookstore with shirts, games, tarot, cross stitch art, a ton of used books (of course!), paintings, bookmarks, stickers, and my personal favorite - journals with pithy & appropo sayings! Little Free Library - This LFL had some books, suicide prevention cards, and a coloring kit for kids. It can use more books for all ages & I hope to bring some by there soon! There's a lot we didn't get to see, because they were setting up for a ticketed event. What I can say, is that I loved, LOVED, hanging out & going into the shops. It's kind of like the Container Park or the outlet malls - the vibe is wonderful and seems to focus on local artists. I can easily see myself spending a full day walking around there. My first time visiting Fergusons Downtown and I came for a photoshoot. The place has a really cute trendy downtown vibe and everything felt clean and well kept including the bathroom which was honestly adorable and great for photos. Parking was easy since I parked next door by the abandoned gas station which made it convenient to walk over. The only downside was I accidentally left my belt in the bathroom and when I tried calling there was no way to get a hold of any workers so if you lose anything expect to drive back to check in person. I went to an event tonight thrown by the Distro and had the time of my life! I love this venue and setup and how it's outside like a small stadium. The inside was nice as well and the bartenders were a lot better than the ones outside . There was a signature drink for this event that tasted like cough syrup. I participated as a food vendor at Fergusons Downtown and unfortunately, the experience didn't meet expectations. While I passed my sanitation inspection and came fully prepared--grills, products, everything--I was given a vending spot that made absolutely no sense. They placed me on a stair platform, which isn't ideal or safe when working with grills and cooking equipment. Even more frustrating, although I submitted my application clearly stating what I'd be selling (including drinks) and was approved, I was only told upon arrival that I wasn't allowed to sell drinks. At that point, I had already brought everything and was set up, which felt really unprofessional and inconsiderate. Parking is also a major issue. It's limited and not easy to access, especially when hauling event equipment. The layout of the venue is very uneven, with hills and tons of stairs--it's beautiful, but physically exhausting for vendors trying to set up and break down. Fergusons has great potential as a community space, but for food vendors, it needs serious improvement in organization, communication, and vendor support. read more

You'll find them in Downtown Las Vegas on Fremont and 11th Street. Shops include LV Plant Collective, Tofu Tees, All For Our Country, Mike's Recovery, Myron Hensel Photography, Noise Project, Puffcorn LV, Krystal Kartel, Nikdreamer, D. Rene & Co, and A 90s Kind of Vintage. For dine-in, Mothership Coffee Roasters makes fantastic drinks and they have yummy pastries available. I really enjoy coming to Fergusons Downtown! The first few times I came here for was for the Market in the Alley which is a Market to help support small local vendors and small businesses. At the Fergusons Motel it's free to everyone. They have a cute stage and seating to enjoy Music in the yard and other venues. They also have a Mother's Ship Coffee Roasters there, The F The Bar which I haven't been too yet. They also have a Really nice Latin inspired restaurant bar called Peyote which is excellent! I'm absolutely GAGA over Fergusons Downtown as it's the epitome of everything I love; mid-century esthetic coupled with art and handcraft, and a strong sense of community. Please, if you haven't already done so, visit this jewel in the crown of DTLV revitalization. There's plenty of street parking in the neighborhood, as well as several parking lots nearby. Many improvements have been made downtown, so the area feels much safer in recent years. In addition, Ferguson's hires a security guard to manage their main point of entry. What a brilliant idea. Fergusons is a sprawling mid-century motel that has been repurposed as a haven for artists and creatives. Each of the motel rooms now serve as studios and workshops for a wide variety of small businesses working to improve the image of DTLV. I have so many favorite little shops here! Neon Cactus sells vintage clothing and collectibles. LV Plant Collective has a wonderful selection of houseplants and accessories. Hey Maker offers bright and whimsical handmade gifts and art. All For Our Country is a gift shop filled to the brim with all sorts of wonderful treasures. Fergusons Downtown really is a destination unto itself. There is a beautiful amphitheater with soft green grass for hanging out and special events, gorgeous Bougainvillea cascading from the building everywhere you look, a coffee shop and restaurant for nourishment, and fascinating art exhibits repurposed from previous Burning Man events. INSTA SPOT ! Ferguson's in downtown LV is a super cool place to visit. Especially so if you enjoy alternative spaces and businesses filled with "alternative" and creative people. I've always had a penchant for the weird, wacky and wild and this old (but cool) motel has been transformed into a vibrant hub of local shops, a coffee shop, and restaurants. As someone who frequently visits Vegas, I've always had a soft spot for the downtown area, craving more development and repurposed buildings. And that's where Ferguson's steps in! With its inviting atmosphere and outdoor seating, it's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the array of events they host. During my visit, I couldn't resist trying out Peyote and Mothership Coffee Roasters, both serving up delicious treats that left me wanting more. However, as much as I'd love to renovate one of those two-story motels myself, reality sets in. Downtown Las Vegas still maintains a shady reputation, making it a challenging area to set up any business. The steep security fees and necessary donations to the police force could quickly add up, slowing down the progress of revitalizing these buildings. Just to renovate even one of these small hotels would require deep pockets.. Despite the nighttime concerns, Ferguson's remains a thriving community space during the day, showcasing the potential of downtown Las Vegas and offering a glimpse into what could be.. with the right support and investment. read more

I have been to Fergusons twice--both times to visit a restaurant. Today after brunch at Peyote, I took the opportunity to walk around and enjoy the grounds and look at some of the shops. Of course, two things draw me in. One is the sculpture Big Rig Jig, two 18 wheel tank trucks that have been joined to form the sculpture. The other is the Fergusons Motel sign from a time when Las Vegas meant Fremont Street and staying at one of the many motels that still line East Fremont Street. While I just walked around today, I'm sure I'll be back and spend some more time--get a coffee, listen to the entertainment, and just chill--as long as it's not 110º out. read more

My fiancé and I had our wedding reception on the rooftop of Ferguson's Downtown and we had the best experience! First, the rooftop space itself is super cute and totally captures the unique vibes of DTLV - this was exactly what we had in mind! We also want to highlight the amazing experience we had working with Jeff at Fergusons. He and the team were not only professional and friendly, but were also super helpful with the planning process - organizing the catering, DJ, furniture rentals, floor plan, etc. We arrived to the event and were happy to see that everything was organized, clean and running smoothly - the bartenders & food staff were efficient and great! Jeff really went above and beyond by surprising me and the groom with a wedding party toast - it was such a special moment! Not impressed I went twice 1st time was nice and peachy just went for a coffee. I did have a scooter and I asked before going in if I was allowed to come in with the scooter. Absolutely obsessed with Fergusons Downtown! If you've never been here, I highly recommend making a stop here. It's filled with local businesses and artisans you can support, which makes the atmosphere all the while better! And it is dog friendly, too! I saw so many cute pups here when I visited yesterday. So fun! There's parking available right next door, or you can park near PublicUs and make the walk over, which is what I did yesterday. There's a front entrance with a security guard that will greet you which is nice! Once inside, there's an outdoor amphitheater that they will use for concerts and whatnot, which is pretty amazing. This is an older motel that was remodeled to be this, which I think is such a unique way of redoing this space! Every "room" is a local business, which is sooo awesome! They have Mothership Coffee, so if you're looking for a place to study or work remote or even grab a cup of joe with a friend, that is a great spot for you. Other local businesses that are there are LV Plant Collective (go get your plant fix with my girl Carissa! she knows her ish!), Mike's Recovery (loooove his soaps and essential oils!), Minimal Market (where you can get your reusables like tote bags, metal straws, etc.), a hair salon (if you need to get your hair did!), and so much more! I absolutely love what has been done with this old hotel on Fremont Street. It has been converted into a funky, artsy, hip and unique space. You are instantly greeted with a huge art sculpture called Big Jig Rig created by Mike Ross and it was a temporary Burning Man sculpture in 2007. This sculpture is four stories high and is just incredible! It is a must see! Ferguson's features a marketplace with local artists displaying and selling their creations, a really cool coffee shop which just recently opened called Mothership Coffee. There is also a new Mexican cafe which also opened recently called La Monja. Lots of open space to just relax and hang out including an upper deck where there are some art pieces for the kids to play with and it provides a nice view of the entire area. I anticipate this place filling up soon with more tenants which will make it a really lively spot. The landscaping is so pretty featuring a beautiful green space with flowers. There is a overwhelming feeling of community here and I can see myself hanging out. There are many photo ops all around this space and it is a welcome addition to this revitalized up and coming area. read more

This place is amazing when you can see that it used to be motel that has been converted to a mix of small businesses, a couple of restaurants and a coffee shop. What will draw your attention immediately to this place is the semi truck sculpture near the entrance. I saw a Youtube video that said this was initially revealed at Burning Man, then transplanted here. What used to be the parking lot is now an open grass courtyard that is terraced down to a coffee shop. While walking around, you notice that A LOT of work went into renovating this old motel to the center it is now. Unfortunately for us, when we went most of the businesses were closed on Sunday-Tuesday but when you really look at this, you have to appreciate the vision this person had to come up with idea, see it through, and actually get it done. It is very dog friendly and a fun place your fur baby to experience new smells. read more

I was lucky enough to visit for a Yelp event, but, loved it so much I went back with my fiancé the next day for brunch and to hang out. It's such a great way to repurpose an old motel. It's just a chill, relaxing place to hang out. We had brunch at Peyote, got a chai latte at Mother Ship, checked out all the shops, bought some goodies.
