10/10 recommend Dr. Fermin! I went to him in an emergency situation for Vertigo upon a friend's recommendation and was warmly greeted by him and his staff. I don't know if he actually had an opening that day or just took pity on me, but he gave me an adjustment right then and there and my Vertigo was instantly relieved! I was a patient at their old office and still a current patient at their new location. I moved out of my previous residence and was looking for another Chiropractor (Dr. Fermin was recommended my brother and sister-in-law). I've been going to his office for a little over one year. Convenient location either by Automobile, Public Transportation, or walking. I go once a month for a typical tune-up and it's always great once I leave. Always a hard decision for switch offices especially one the previous Doctor and staff were (and still) awesome. I'm glad I got the recommendation because I've always been skeptical about Chiropractors (and Dentists), but I've found two who were recommended but either family or co-workers. read more

Long overdue review... I purchased a groupon for 3 adjustments, I went in for my first appointment, got some pictures taken of my posture and was told I would get a report back of my posture, proceeded to get an "adjustment", then, scheduled my second appointment. Following day, got a voicemail that my appointment was canceled. Never got a call back after that, never received the report of my posture, very unfair as I PAID for three appointments and never got a call back for my report or to be able to set up another appointment after getting canceled. read more

Prenatal Chiropractic Visit!!! Let me start out by saying I have had some pretty uncomfortable chiropractic experiences before. I am 38 weeks pregnant and having lots of pain so I became desperate to give another chiropractor a try. BEST decision ever, Dr. Walter Fermin is great!!! I was comfortable the moment I walked in his office, he was so knowledgeable with the consultation. I was a little nervous being so far along with my pregnancy but he comforted me and we got started. In the beginning he used a cooling lotion that felt so good on my sore muscles then massaged my back. He did the cracking part once I was relaxed and I felt better right away. He also used some kinesiology tape on my tummy to support the ligaments that are stretching and on my back and legs. I had never had so much done before with other chiropractors. I left there so beyond happy and cannot wait to go back again a couple of days. He is great at what he does and I appreciate feeling relief after this long painful pregancy. I've been meaning to write this review for some time now..... Dr. Walter is undeniably one of the best chiropractors I've seen. I have visited a few since having chronic shoulder pain due to snowboarding injuries. I was put at ease with his calm disposition. He thoroughly explained his approach to healing and took time to answer all of my questions. He really does go over and beyond for his patients ensuring that they are satisfied and educated on the care they received. The biofreeze he uses really helped loosen up any discomfort I felt from my adjustment. He is a saint and very family oriented. I would highly recommend his services. Dr. Fermin really wants you to be healthy! His approach entails listening to what is going with you and then addressing those concerns with individualized modalities. Everything is included in your visit. For me it's the massage with the Thumper to get blood flow moving and warming up my back muscles, then it is an adjustment that takes into account, the state that my body is in, then he uses kinesiology tape and explains to me what is happening with muscles that affect my posture and ways for me to strengthen them. Dr. Fermin is interested in our health. All I can say is that we have finally found OUR family chiropractor! I have been to a few different Chiros in SD county trying to find a "home" well I no longer have to shop! Dr. Walter is the best, he adjusts you in a private office, does not force un-needed services on you and care about your total well being. I've been to many Chiropractors in the past. I found relief from most of them, yet it did not seem to last more than a day. Dr Walter was able to relax my muscles, and provide an excellent adjustment. He followed it up with a stretching regimen and some nutritional advise to prevent future inflammation.
