Hands down the best car wash in Greater Boston!!! They are attentive and at one time 4 people can be working on your interior. I used to drive 45min to them when I wanted a thorough wash. The prices are reasonable. Often, the demand is high and cars have to form a line onto the street. I took away one star because service used to be friendlier. After a road trip from Miami to Boston + one months of driving, a car wash was essential. I decided to check out Fernandez Xpress because every time I drive through blue hills they are busy. I figured if I went in the middle of a weekday it would be my best bet to not having to wait in line. I drove right in and a person walked over to me and asked me what services I wanted. He then proceeded to charge me and follow instructions from the man that was waving at me. From there, this person put a green sticker inside my window and told me to proceed to the washing area. This was the fastest, while still efficient part of the process. About three men were washing and soaking my car with soap all at the same time. The next stop was the hand drying station, followed by the vacuum drop off area. At this point I was asked to go inside the lobby and wait for them to call me. This took the longest? But my car was filthy inside. I appreciate that they took their time and worked so hard on my car. The value of the car wash is very worth the service and efficiency you get. The service has definitely gone downhill. The exterior and interior are not as clean as they used to be. This isn't a one off situation. It's the second time that my car wasn't cleaned as thoroughly. They tack on an extra $20 for a SUV and trunk cleaning. It looks like they barely touched my trunk. In total you are now paying $65. It should be the standard $45 as advertised. I will not be back anytime soon as the value is no longer appealing. Someone should be inspecting the cars before you leave. An increase in price and a downgrade in value isn't a good business model. read more

i went to Fernández car wash. so disappointed. I was charge extra five dollars to clean up the rims And my rim were still dirty. Do use the same broom brush that they clean my wheel with and used it in the body of the car. Then once my car went through the car wash and you could see all the little scratches on the side of the car from the dirty broom that they used Or maybe he brush was just bad. My car now has scratches on the side. I WILL NEVER HO THERE AGAIN! I should've continued washing my car on my own. read more

Took my truck in today for the Premium wash. When I got home I looked at the exterior paint and glass. The people who dried my truck used dirty rags to dry it! Awful mess. Full of dirt and grime! Never again. Beware! Website and signs say "No mask-No Service". There were four employees there that morning. They are cheap, quick, and my car is squeakly clean when they are done. I don't do anything fancy, just the $8 xpress car wash and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes so what's not to love. I would probably try to go before 3pm so there is not too much traffic on the street. The exterior wash was fine, but I waited almost 2 hours for the interior clean. It was midday on a weekday, so I can't imagine how it'll be on a weekend. The cars were packed in the small lot, so I couldn't even leave if I wanted. The interior clean was pretty good, and $25 for interior and exterior isn't too bad. It's sad that there is someone stealing lose change from the cars when they're cleaning. I brought 2 different cars on the same day with the same amount of quarters in the cup holder area, each time my car came back with at least half my change missing. What was so sad about this is I had this change (quarters only) available to provide a good tip; especially since I upgraded to getting my car detailed after the wash I knew I would not be using the vacuum (that you have to insert quarters). When I first noticed the change was missing I wasn't sure who took it because 4 guys worked on car at once. It's also hard to see when people are inside your car and your behind the window on a chair but.... that's not supposed to be your main objective. You should be able to relax and trust people won't be stealing from your vehicle even if there is a sign that says we aren't responsible for stolen items- don't hire people who steal. My car was really cleaned well inside and out which was really valuable since I was having a busy day. I brought back second car because they did such a thorough job cleaning and I hoped the coin incident was just that an incident. Speeding forward same change amount , same location in car, same result in stolen coins. Sadly this thief is consistently taking change from unsuspecting customers who carelessly think no one will take their change especially since the car detail bill isn't cheap.... and customers are tipping. But here's the only difference this time. Instead of 4 guys there are 2. One of the guys was involved in both details, the one guy who was completely out of site when I get the keys to my car back from the other guy excited to receive a tip but can't speak much English. The other guy, the thief has already made his way to the next car. The guy who looks white (blanco) in comparison to all the others leaves the black guy (Moreno) to take all the blame...do better, the people in the community deserve better. I USED to think this was the best in town until my latest experience. I called and booked an appointment to have my car detailed over the phone and was quoted a price of $125.00. I called the day before to confirm the time and thought it odd that the lady who answered the phone didn't recognize my car when I told her what type; turns out she wrote it down wrong. I expressed to her, that in the interest of good business practice they should honor the price I was quoted. She refused. I asked to speak with a manager hoping this would get resolved and I'd be driving a newly cleaned car by tomorrow afternoon. Boy was I wrong!! The "manager" I spoke with was borderline rude and also REFUSED to honor the price I was given. I said to him, "Its not my fault she heard wrong, so why should I have to pay for her mistake?" His response, "Everyone makes mistakes." The sad part is I'm a regular customer (who also tips) for interior/exterior but I will NOT spend another dime here after this experience and I'll be sure to let everyone I know about it as well so hopefully they won't either. This place is GREAT! Dropped my suv off for a full detail & it looked brand new when I picked it up. Prices are very reasonable I've tried other places & This place takes the prize, trust me. Employees total professionals & the waiting around none of that, they will give a honest time frame & will call you as soon as your car is ready. Couldn't be happier with their work... my baby is show room ready! While there I bought couple things in the market that looks like a mini advance auto with all the goodies they have for your car. I noticed they also do oil changes, more affordable than a dealership too, I'll be back Xpress! Didn't try the car wash itself (the tunnel) but there were a lot of cars waiting their turn, that's always a good sign & unlike other places they dry your car for you.. I was surprised at that one. They did a really good job detailing my car. I have a 2014 Toyota Corolla. The only problem I had was how long they took. I had an appointment to have my care detailed at 1pm and didn't get my car back until around 9:30pm. I wasn't told this when I booked the detailing over the phone. I was only told after I paid and was giving the receptionist my keys. It was my first time getting my car detailed so maybe I just didn't know it took that long. It might be the standard time it takes to detail a car. I wish they said that when I booked the appointment so I would have been more prepared. It just seems like making an appointment is useless when it takes a long time. Might as well just bring my car without an appointment. Nonetheless they did a really good job and they work hard to make cars look nice! read more

They use dirty rags to dry your car. Leaving scratches and streaks. Short people drying the cars so they can't reach everywhere.

I was told that I could do an interior clean for $15 but once I got in line for the vacuum I was told by another person that if I did not get a car wash I can not get the interior clean. By far the best car wash in town. I love the selection on the menu and even if you settle for the standard wash it'll still come out shining right. I prefer the $20 wash that includes the hotwax. If I'm feel special I'll get the $30 job that includes an express interior job. Love this carwash. Ive been going over for a little more than two years. They are always fast, Sometimes there is a huge line but it doesnt take more than 10 minutes to get on your way. Usually i wait. Recently did a detail and the car came out looking better than new. Had to come to Yelp and give a review because i was amazed of how it came out. Prices are good. Ive had the most economic multiple times and it still comes out looking great. The detailing is on another level. I didnt know they did oil changes but i recently seen a car getting theirs done. The employees are always respectful and ive never had anything missing. I usually get something to drink in the cashier while i wait. This is a terrific car wash and interior cleaning for the price. I have bought two package deals where I pay $100 and I get 5 interior and exterior washes. Many times the lines are very long. Today there was no wait. Many languages are spoken here so take time to be sure you are understood. My car looked like new when I drove away. Auto-wash + hand dry + someone taking out my car mats, vacuuming, and wiping down my anterior= $25. How do you say no? They do an awesome job. They take pressured air to your floor mats. And those little crevasses in the car to get them really cleaned. The wait can be long if you are coming during the day, but it's totally worth it. read more

I'm always looking for car washes that have Express interior cleaning available, and for a good price. And this is either not offered or you have to drop $40+ for it around here. So, the fact that Fernandez Xpress even offers this, and for $18, $25, or $30 (depending on the combo you want), is really awesome. And they do a great job. And they have a place inside for you to stay warm (or cool) with a huge window to watch them cleaning your interior. I try not to pay too much attention to them through the window though, bc it's creepy and/or annoying (I'd imagine), but cool nonetheless. This is seriously the only place around within 15+ miles that does this at the prices offered, and does a way better job than one other slightly more expensive place that's a lot closer to me. The other place has a ton of really good reviews, but I've been there twice and was less than satisfied on both occasions. And it's about ¼ of the size in space and no inside area to wait while they clean. Fernandez Xpress is absolutely the way to go. Oh, and they're open till 9:00PM(!!!), too! I actually created my Yelp account just to give this place a review. I have never been to any car wash where people are as nice as this one. The guy even opened up my car's hood to remove debris (something i have never seen any other car wash people). They washed the rubber pads from the floor of my car and wiped the car inside out for only $25.00. There is absolutely no doubt that I am not going to any other car wash after trying this place out!
