Everything from the setup, appetizers offered to enhance the experience, instructor, information shared and ambiance were outstanding. We learned about Spanish and Portuguese wines and had the opportunity to taste many that were also for sale at the store. I was pleasantly surprised and way overspent my budget Prices are cheaper than Amazon on many things and only SLIGHTLY higher on other items. I could have gotten my mini auto siphon for the same price. Bottle wands are the same price. Bungs are a little over $1 each and airlocks are $1.50, so cheaper than Amazon unless buying in bulk. In fact everything is pretty close to Amazon, and in the case of glassware- cheaper. (and safer.) The 1gal jars I use for kombucha are under $7 each. Making a case $28. I paid $20 on Amazon for 2 booch jars. Glass 1gal carboys are also just under $7. You have to buy a growler cap for them separately. Or just get a universal bung. They have cheesemaking supplies, kombucha and kefir cultures plus all the right parts for getting those things fermenting right. I might've found my new favorite place.

Decent selection of wine. Lots more reds than whites. I found a wine the other night Campanile, Pinot Grigio, for about $10.99, from Italy ('10) which tastes pretty good. The guy who stood behing the counter looked like an old skool meathead - turns out he is friendly, and able to answer my questions. He also has the red sox on in the background for those of whom want to keep up with the game... The one thing that they couldn't give me, that I wanted? Good looking limes. These are like the holy grail of liquor stores though, I usually have to keep looking til I find something worth buying - usually at the last of many stores. I'll be back here for sure.

It felt a bit rushed and slightly uncomfortable. Overall, it's an okay place--good for specialty items, but a bit expensive and not ideal for everyday shopping.

You can go in, buy a coffee and paper, and keno your life away. They even have a KENO tv in the window for those folks who can't even smoke a butt without playing KENO! I am sure this business is doing well. I am very impressed with the Cabot St. location's wine selection. They have everything from EL CHEAPO to EL NOT SO CHEAPO. Both locations also let you into the beer cooler for cases. I am always chatting it up with the staff there. They are extremely friendly and always offer the ladies a werthers. Some may find it sketchy, but I find it a kind gesture. I am not sure about the Cabot St. location, but the Rantoul St. one is open 24 hrs.
