Don't get me wrong... I love this car wash. But when we went last all the card readers for the vacuums were not working and I had to scrounge for quarters in a car that I cleared out at home. Thankfully I had some dollars on me. We use the bays regularly to wash my husbands over-sized truck. We usually end up spending about $12-15 on the wash which is the same or a little more as the touchless. The cheapest touchless wash is $6 and the works is $12. 1st time going through my rear windshield wiper was torn off the back of my vehicle because the sensor was wrong cost me $500 to repair at local body shop. 2nd time blower dryer not working at all. 3rd and final time no change given, when speaking with the attendant, she had to call the owner to refund money, rinse did not kick in until car half way through, then to top it all again blower did not work to begin then kicked on and shut off before car was even dry. Attendant nice but worthless to have around. Go to the other on Hwy 395A and don't waste your money. read more

I decided to revise my rather scathing review of the Fernley automatic car wash and the owner Jim Lamont. I have learned that it is unsafe for a used vehicle to use the automatic carwash without risking serious paint damage, and I was advised moving forward to use the spray wands and all at your own risk. They recently upgraded their equipment, much better car wash! But still some kinks in the system. Went in last month to get my car washed and it stopped as soon as it put soap on it. Got out since I waited about 5 minutes, went around and called the number. Told me to call on the other line and leave my name, address, etc., and they would send me a refund. Never got it so, I called again this time they sent me the refund really fast. Couldn't they have upgraded the car wash for my inconvenience of not getting my car washed the first time?, then having to go someplace else to get a wash, waiting a month for the refund? I use this car wash on regular bases. It's always clean and well maintained. As for customer service: I have personally had them correct my issue right on the spot in a fair and reasonable manner. I highly recommend the Fernley Touchless Car Wash. Respectfully GMJ read more

I have used this car wash since I moved to Fernley 2 years ago. Today is the last time. They now charge a $20 minimum when using a card.

I'm very disappointed in this place, I decided to wash my car here tonight and the place has 3 wash bays. All 3 wash bays were trashed with mud, dirt, and trash all around. 2 bays had the wash brush laying face down on top of the mud and dirt!! I had drove through the summit in the snow so I had to wash my car to get the grime and salt of my paint as I take care of my vehicles so I had no choice but to wash it here because there was no other car wash that I know of around fernley that was 24/7 access. Ok, so I start by washing with high pressure with soap to break down all the grime on my paint then I spent 2-3mins high pressure washing the foam brush to get all the fine rock and dirt out the brush seeing that the other brushes were laying on the mud in the other bays I didn't want to risk scratching my paint. Anyway I switch the option to foam brush I waiting another 2-3 mins for soap to come out the brush and there was none coming out!!! Great just what I needed! NOT! Every min I burn I get charge for usage. This was BS! I ended up having to switch from high pressure soap to foam brush to get my car soaped up and wash to get the hell out of there CLEAN! I wasted more money and time using this crappy car wash! I will not come back again, I'm the type of person that will wash my car once every couple weeks to stay clean you they just lost a valuable customer!! I should have taken photos of this horrible layout I saw but decided not to waste more of my time.... read more
