Ricardo is not only an expert who will gladly help and repair your PC, but he's also fair, communicative, and exceptionally skilled. In addition, my PC was repaired and ready to be picked up within a day of leaving it in Ricardo's hands. When my PC wouldn't turn on -- which I believed to be a power supply issue -- I first took it to Best Buy for a diagnosis. However, they could not have been less helpful; they wouldn't even attempt to identify the problem. In contrast, when I reached out to Ricardo, he very nobly offered free advice on the safest and most cost-effective steps to diagnose and fix my PC in an effort to save me money. At the same time, he reassured me that he'd be happy to handle the repair himself if that was my preference. I can confidently say there's nowhere else I'd rather go for my computer services and repairs. I would be remiss not to mention the care and thoroughness he brings to every step of the process. Not only did Ricardo repair my PC -- the service I received truly went the extra mile. It's now running like brand new. In addition to replacing the power supply, he completely cleaned out the dust, replaced the thermal paste on the CPU, and checked for viruses and malware. Throughout the process, Ricardo maintained clear communication regarding the services he was performing, and he never charged me for anything I didn't request.

You can imagine how happy I was to get a call the following day from him saying my laptop was ready. This is my kind of establishment, honest, fair, customer-friendly and fast! I had him call the owner and then the owner gave me a third quote for $200. Whatever just replace the screen. They replaced the screen and now I'm having trouble with the sensor at the top so when I use WhatsApp and try to play a voice clip the phone screen turns black like I'm covering the sensor even though the phone is a few feet away from me. Sometimes I can't take phone calls unless I hit the power button to close the phone and hit the power button again to show the screen. I have a lot of issues with the touch screen not responding. The top of the phone where the screen meets the housing flexes in and out so my best guess is that they didn't glue the top properly. I called the owner asking for a refund and my old screen back but he refused the refund and offered to replace the screen. He told me that this is a third party screen which I can confirm because I saw the Chinese letters on the box. He said that the functionality might be different because it's not an OEM screen. Could have paid $100 more and went to uBreakiFix and had a perfectly brand new screen. Which is what I wish I would have done in the first place. My suggestion to anyone coming here is to avoid this place!! The phone call with the owner ended up in a yelling match with him trying to talk over me and me trying to talk over him with me hanging up at the end. This place did offer to replace the first screen that they messed up. They can't get it right the first time why do they think that I would allow them to touch my phone a second time. Plus they wouldn't offer a refund which is what I wanted. They replaced my old screen and now this one has tons of issues and the screen isn't glued at the top and it's pulled away which is visibly noticeable. I'm just going to take the $200 loss and then when this screen goes I'll go to ubreakifixit

I met Frank for the first time this year at a business event. I was immediately impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of IT and IT security. Since my company, LPS Associates, LLC, sells and implements Voice over IP telephone systems, Video Conferencing systems, and complex AV solutions, we deal with IT vendors all the time and I can tell you the knowledge and professionalism of these vendors is average at best and I certainly would not recommend them to any of my clients. Recently, a long-time phone customer of ours approached me with a serious IT problem. They believed they had a virus on their server and it was impacting their business operations and they were panicked that they would lose their CRM database which is the lifeblood of their business. Since I am always hesitant to recommend vendors who I have not worked with, I politely told them I didn't know anyone. They came back to me a day later and asked for help again - this time I decided to give Ferrara IT a try and recommended them to my client. Since this was a critical issue, I contacted Frank directly and asked for his assistance. I explained the situation about my client's concerns with their CRM database and how this needed to be resolved as quickly as possible. That call happened on a Friday, Frank rearranged his schedule and was in my client's office Monday morning. Not wanting to leave anything to chance, I worked out my client's office that day, so I could observe Frank and how he interacted with my client. As I had hoped, Frank was extremely professional, he explained exactly what he was going do to remediate the virus and assured my client that they would be protected going forward based on the recommended software he was installing. He provided updates throughout the process and explained the type of viruses he had found and let them know he took care of them and that their data was safe. During this process, my client made Frank aware that some strange things had been happening (printers could not be accessed, reduced speeds, devices having to be rebooted multiple times in order to get them on the network, etc.) and asked if this was related to the virus. Frank assured them he would look into it. Since this was towards the end of the day, it would have been easy for Frank to tell them he could not find anything. Instead he went on a mission to figure out what was going on and at around 7pm that night he discovered that a "rogue" postage device that was configured improperly, had been plugged into their network and was handing out IP addresses, causing all of the issues they had been experiencing. Needless to say, my client was thrilled. Frank not only made himself look good, he made me look good. Frank and his company are the epitome of the slogan "going the extra mile". My first-hand experience of their professionalism, knowledge, and care demonstrated to me that Ferrara IT truly cares about their customers. Most companies talk about customer service and how they are focused on it, but it is rare to see it in practice. I am excited that I now have an IT Company I can trust to work with my clients. I built my own PC from parts, for example. Recently I came across an issue that, try as I might, I could not solve. For about two weeks, I ran every test I knew of, searched the Internet for ideas, wiped and reinstalled the HD, all to no avail. Lacking options, I brought my PC into the local shop, Saba Solutions, due to it's good reviews here and elsewhere. They did not disappoint. While it did take several days, the shop was able to diagnose the issue and fix it, all the while providing daily feedback via email. It is service you will not get at the chain shops like Geek Squad. Then, when I went to pick up my newly-repaired PC, Saba charged me a price that was maybe 1/3 what I expected to pay. Don't be put off by the small storefront and utilitarian interior. This shop knows it's stuff and the price is right.
