I got a quote of $50 from another shop and when I brought it in to Bloomfield Auto Body, they immediately replaced the bulb, refastened my front bumper in a temporary fix until I could afford to get it properly fixed and then refused to charge me. This was human kindness and compassion to the nth degree.. and in a business context yet when those qualities seem to be lacking on a purely human level. Was told we would get the car back in two weeks. Car did not come back until after Christmas, in which about 100 miles were added on the odometer. The front cup holder was left with full of change (assuming for tolls) as well as an open water jug in the back seat. The back seats came back dirty as well as the cup holders in the rear center. Car is brand new and was used at their leisure during the holidays. Will not recommend or go back here. They seemed nice but using the car for 100 miles was unnecessary especially if the repair was only for body work.

Instead of ordering a new unit to replace it with the body shop appears to have finagled a salvaged piece (while charging full price) and took over a month to do the work during which time we had to cover the rental expenses. More fun bits: - body shop called to say the work was done and car was ready to pick up - my Dad had to take a hour and a half train ride to get it only to find out they were still waiting on another part to finish the job...having to take a $50 Uber ride home after... - the "new" door has a worn down handle that is still leaving black residue on my hands, has obvious wheezing air leakage, and malfunctions electronically...
