Erika Merkel has taken so much time to help us understand the ins and outs of different appliances. She has made us countless spreadsheets to show which options would work with our exact measurements and power. She has answered numerous emails and met with us so many times. Not once has she made us feel any kind of pressure to buy something. Her knowledge of appliances is astounding - she's basically an appliance genius. On top of that, we haven't found Bekins to be more expensive than other stores. The fancy show room made me worried they would be pricey, but they really just have a high level of care. If you go to Bekins - ask for Erika!

I wanted a Speed Queen washer and dryer but he recommended GE so we went with that. A few weeks later our appliances were delivered, one of the knobs on the stove doesn't work, one of them is only a super low flame, Robin said he'd order the parts and have it fixed, it's been several weeks and they have yet to show up. On our first visit we asked for a vent for our hood & he said he'd look and get back with me. Each time I mentioned it, he had forgotten so I finally gave up on purchasing that from them. The refrigerator feels very low end like the drawers are going to break so I asked for a higher end model, Robin told me he would look into another option and call me right back. One week later I called him back & he had forgotten but did check into it and called me back but apparently they don't have access to a better model in the color we chose. When I suggested we return it and purchase one somewhere else, Robin told me he'd charge 20% restocking and a delivery fee if we returned it. The GE dryer has a faint constant alarm beeping 24/7 so of the 5 appliances I purchased, I'm having problems with 3 of them & sadly they just don't follow through on their promises. When I asked Robin to speak to the owner, he said he is the owner. I was so disappointed by that, I've heard great things about them & was happy to make our purchases from a small business but the service has been awful from the moment we walked in the door. We continued to give them the benefit of the doubt hoping it would get better and it didn't. We now have $4,500 worth of very low end appliances that are full of issues purchased from a company that won't make it right. :(

Called to get someone back out 3 times over a week, kept being told they'd call me back after talking to serviceman--it's been two weeks, still haven't heard from them.
