My lawn has been a mess for years since I had it dug up for sewer repair, I've tried re-sodding with no success and have tried a variety of other things, it continued to be brown and dead in the front. I hired Fertilawn last year and they seeded the lawn in fall. I didn't have high hopes because of the lack of success I've had in the past, but this year it looks beautiful! Even better than before it was dug up. I'm so happy with this service! It's a good price, they're easy to reach with questions, and absolutely worth it! I can't recommend them enough if you struggle with your lawn. I have the opposite of a green thumb so my lawn is entirely credited to Fertilawn and they will tell you exactly how much to water and when to keep a beautiful green yard. read more

We have used Fertilawn for many years and have been very pleased with their service. We have them fertilize 4 times per year plus spring and fall aeration and my lawn generally looks pretty good. I have a dog so there are always some doggy bare spots but they fill in and if I do my part and water the yard does fine. A couple of years ago we had an infestation of Japanese beetle grubs which did a lot of damage but Fertilawn alerted me to the cause and applied insecticide twice which seems to have solved the problem. Each time they visit they send me a nice email report identifying any issues or potential issues. I would highly recommend. read more

Curt our technician has done a wonderful job with our yard. This is the second year we have used him. The other company we had for several years did not completely fertilize our entire back yard because the terrain was not able to be used with the fertilizing machine they rode on. so they just didn't fertilize that area. read more

I have used a few other companies over the years to mow my lawn. Always having issues with being charged when they don't even show up. Fertilawn crew has been very honest with billing. The crew leader will personally stop and discuss when I would like them to come out next. Comes in handy when weather gets hot&dry and grass slows down in growth. Very friendly, will continue having this company maintain my lawn for many more years to come. They are a little more on the pricey side, well worth the extra personal attention they take to my lawn. We have had Fertilawn out to work on our backyard and to put in a raised bed garden. Per our request, they call the day before they come out to do an application on the backyard. This is important to us as we have 2 big dogs and a small child, so we like to know when to keep them indoors. The technician is always friendly when we see them. They did a great job with our raised bed garden too. It was well made and stands up to our dogs rough play :) We hope to enlarge the garden/patio area this summer and will be using Fertilawn for that job. We also started using their plowing service this winter. We may not always be the first to be plowed, but our driveway is always well plowed and done in an appropriate amount of time. read more

I was a loyal customer of Fertilawn for over 7 years having fertilizing and lawn mowing done. I was very pleased with their service until an incident with damage to my fence gate caused a disagreement on responsibility for repair. I have a fenced in yard with large double gates for mowing equipment and fertilizing equipment to get to my backyard. On return from a business trip I noticed that my gate was broken (large pipes supporting the chainlink were broken in 2 places). The Fertilawn service people were the only ones to every use the gates so I called to report it. I was told that they would check into it an get back to me - when they got back to me I was told that they talked to the service people and they said they didn't do it. No one else goes it my backyard through those gates so I said it had to be them. The person I spoke to was very rude and said " are you telling me my guys are lying to me". After a few more interactions I could see that they were not going to take responsiblity so I spent the $800 to get a new set of gates. If i truly didn't think that they had done it I would have gone ahead and fixed it myself - but they are the only ones who used the gates and I think the service people were worried about the repercusions of admitting they had done it. They never made any attempt to assist with payment.I have since moved on to another service. read more
