Came here with my daugter and my mom. Daughter was craving an Acai Bowl so she and I both had Acai…read morebowls. Hers was the Nalu and mine was the Banzi Bowl. My mother had an Avocado Toast. Holy smokes, the Acai bowls here are massive. We were soooo full. If we ever come here again, we will just share one bowl with each other. Not sure that we will come here again though. The Acai bowls weren't bad but I've had better. I feel it could have been a bit sweeter. I was not impressed with my mom's Avocado Toast. I could see my mother struggling to cut her Avocado Toast so it seems the crust was quite hard. She ended up leaving a lot of the crust on her plate and just ate the middle of the bread. On the website I had seen Avocado Toast, sandwiches, wraps and Salmon Lox Bagel. I was quite dismayed to walk into this place and not see any of that stuff written on the menu. There was a small sign by the cashier that said to ask about Avocado Toast. I guess by the same token, I would have had to ask about Salmon Lox Bagel. Why make us ask about it? Why not just include it on the huge menu that was up on the wall? Might have made life easier when it came to ordering something for my mom who isn't into Acai bowls like us. This place seems to be somehow shared with Bean Around the World coffee shop which is right next door. There's no wall separating the two shops. You can walk from Anchor Eatery straight into the coffee shop next door. We ended up taking our food and drinks from Anchor Eatery and sitting next door at Bean Around the World coffee shop. Assumed it was allowed since there was no separation between the two shops and nobody tried to kick us out of the coffee shop.

It's a…read moresmall place, with about 3 tables inside and 3 outside, but they do provide real plates, cutlery, etc for dining in. The staff were very friendly. They were out of a few things - no more oatmeal and only one serving of matcha left when we all wanted matcha, but the alternatives that we went with were still appealing, so it wasn't a big deal. The one matcha went to my mom, and it seemed like she got the scraps of it because it looked and tasted pretty watery. I got a chai latte which was pretty good but a little grainy. The food on the other hand was really good. I got the buckwheat pancakes and tried some of the smoothie bowl. The pancakes were hearty and fluffy, topped with a delicious berry chia jam and cashew cream. The plate came with 3 small-ish pancakes which was a satisfying portion that wasn't too much. We were also asked if we wanted maple syrup with the pancakes, but I ended up not needing to add any because the jam and cream were enough. Maple syrup is $2 for a small cup so I would recommend skipping it unless you really want something sweeter. The jam and cream are just modestly sweet which was perfect for me. The blueberry smoothie bowl was also delicious and came with lots of toppings - their granola had a delightful texture. It was a bit of a wait for food, so ordering the breakfast plates is probably not the best option if you're in a hurry, but they have ready-to-eat stuff available if you do want something quick, and the drinks didn't take long. I would be interested in coming back to try more of the food menu if I were in Whistler again.

The folks working there were just as nice as can be and directed us to the stew, which was my favorite we also ordered the rise N shine wrap which was also good. Their Matcha latte was one of the best I've ever had. A small cozy space inside. I only wish we had tried their baked goods selections. Next time!

Feeling refreshed, boosted and cleansed with these delicious cold- pressed juice from Juice Truck…read more I had these three weeks ago, as I want something to boost my health and diet. I tried the three day cleanse which arrived fresh two days after ordering. I'm not new to juice cleanse, so I'm familiar with the not tasty taste of some veggie juice, but for these juices, all were delicious, primarily sweet; only "The green" juice is not sweet. All were palatable, and I like that each juice comes with more than five ingredients. The three-day cleanse has 21 juices, so seven juice per day, which to me, I can only consume five juice as I felt so full already and since most were sweet, I already felt energized with it. Overall I had them for four days with snacks on the first day. So far, I did not feel hungry or weak during the cleanse; I just craved something salty. Overall, the juice truck cleanse is delicious, fresh and healthy. For the price, $195 for three-day cleanse, it's like $9.30 per juice; it's just right with the variety of juice you get with more than five combinations of ingredients on each juice. Highly recommended for those who want to boost their health, want to save time on juicing, or even a good start to losing weight.
