Right next to Backcountry I have bought many treats from here (as you can see this is a bakery) and the place is great. Whether you need a light snack, like a healthy cookie, or something a bit bigger, like a sandwich, this place has you covered. One of my favorites is the pretzel they make, it is so good, and I just want to rip it apart every time I have it and I am driving away, I think... maybe I should have gotten an extra one. They serve coffee here as well, and sell loaf's of bread. The staff is great here as well, no seating inside, this is a place where you will occasionally line up, but it moves along fast, and it is so worth your while when you are here in Squamish.

They forgot to make my sandwich, and after waiting for about 15 minutes I asked about it. They were very apologetic, made the sandwich quickly, and added in a free cookie. We all make mistakes sometimes, but when an establishment tries to make up for it, it is very nice. The sandwich was good, but the Nanaimo bar tasted like the same one I bought from Whole Foods. It's a very nice place to sit and chat quietly with great views, big windows, and a chill vibe.

The bars come as milk or dark chocolate with dried fruits and nuts pressed into them or just nuts or biscuit pearls or are sprinkled with sea salt. As someone who cannot digest dairy, it was wonderful to see that the dark chocolate bars are vegan and contain no dairy. We also had a chance to chat with the friendly owner and it was a great experience. A few weeks ago we visited Squamish again and were happy to see that the chocolate bars still look amazing. We bought a bunch of bars and now have a decent stash to last for a while and to give as gifts. Though it's hard to moderate when the bars taste so good. Thank you, Xoco Chocolate!

The dark chocolate bars with roasted nuts and dried fruits is one of favorites. The quality of the dark chocolate is very good and the bars taste as good as they look. The dark chocolate is vegan. It's a cute shop and the owner and staff are great. They also have milk chocolate bars and beautiful chocolate confections. We're dark chocolate fans so we haven't tried them. We stop every time we're up that way.

Originally I only wanted a donut but decided on something warm and ordered a bowl of chili instead. While the hubby isn't fond of their coffee (LoL! sorry) he does enjoy their chili. It was pretty good, rich and flavorful with a blend of ground beef, kidney beans, tomatoes, mushroom, green peppers, onion and celery. It came with a full size artisan bread bun (and butter). Staff are friendly and cheerful. No complaints. The doughnuts are a bit pricey but they sure are delicious. I really like "Asian" style doughnuts as they are less sweet than their western counterparts. I had the matcha cream and could definitely taste the matcha. Smooth, balanced, and exactly what you want on a crisp morning adventure. Goldie's felt like one of those special finds you don't plan for but remember long after.
