If you're in Squamish, this amazing bakery next to Backcountry Brewing is a must visit! So far, we've had: croissant - excellent! lemon poppyseed scone - yum! seasonal danish - strawberry - one of my faves! seeded twist - love this one! lemon tart - mmmmm v good! oatmeal chocolate cookie - good! ginger molasses cookie - great! I love ginger! peanut butter chocolate chip cookie - yummy! chocolate white chocolate pistachio cookie - good! spicy chicken ranch baguette sandwich - not too spicy! One of my favorites! beet and goat cheese sandwich - very good! ginger molasses ice cream sandwich - yum! Very good! sesame sourdough loaf - excellent! We loved it all, but my favorites are the seeded twist, seasonal danish and spicy chicken ranch sandwich on baguette. They have an awesome lunch deal. $12 for a sandwich, 12 oz Counterpart First Peak drip coffee/Phillips craft soda/San Pellegrino sparkling water and Italian sodas and cookie of choice. Meat and meatless sandwich options. Several canned drinks. Three cookie choices each day to choose from.

MUST TRY BAKERY IN SQUAMISH. This bakery is where most of the locals go to when wanting some fresh delicious baked goods and I gotta admit, it's pretty good. Tucked away is this bakery which despite it being somewhat hidden, they have crazy lineups! They also sell out quickly and are opened until they are sold out. * 4X ham and Gruyere croissant ($3.75/each) ~ this was ultra flakey! Super buttery and ultra rich! The gruyere cheese was such a smart choice because it really adds a nice rich cheese flavour to the croissant and the ham was so good! There was so many layers in this it was crazy! * 2X seed twist ($3.75) ~ this was super unique it's a twisted croissant / cracker. It's buttery and nutty which adds a nice flavour to it. I can totally see myself eating this daily. It's a savoury one for sure! Also super flakey. * Butter croissant ($3) ~ classic super buttery and flakey! Can't go wrong with this here. * Lemon tart ($5) ~ this was huge and let me just say hella tart! Lemon lovers this may be for you if you like that lemon tart taste because it will get your tastebuds squirming. * Plain Au chocolat ($3.75) ~ classic chocolate croissant. With good amount of chocolate in it! * Cinnamon bun ($4) ~ I liked this! Imagine a cinnamon tart like with the centre being the flavour spot. I wish it was more soft. * Oatmeal cookie ($1.50) ~ crispy cookie! I prefer my cookies soft and chewy but this had a combo of both. More on the crispy side. Good sweetness. * 8/10 ~ it's pretty good I like their croissant. The lemon tart I wish it was more sweet than tart, and I wish the cinnamon bun was more of a bun that's softer. * 7/10 ~ pretty good bakery price that's average. It can get pricey as you keep ordering but overall not bad. Total bill before tip: $39.75. * 10/10 ~ everyone was super respectful of their 4people max rule, mask required, social distanced line up.

I had been looking forwarding to visiting Tall Tree Bakery since reading about it months ago in my Vancouver travel book (I love finding local bakeries and coffee shops when traveling). We stopped on our way back to Van from Whistler. It did not disappoint. I had the ham and cheese panini- delicious (even tho I'd forgotten to ask for no mayonnaise) and we tried 3 cookies: the peanut butter chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and the dark chocolate pistachio. All were amazing. They had all sorts of pastries and desserts. If I'm ever visiting the area from the east coast again I will definitely come back here!

Amazing cinnamon roll from the bakery!!!! Love love love!

That middle road, everytime I am rolling through either going to Whistler, or coming back from it, and if they are open I will come into this bakery.

The bars come as milk or dark chocolate with dried fruits and nuts pressed into them or just nuts or biscuit pearls or are sprinkled with sea salt. As someone who cannot digest dairy, it was wonderful to see that the dark chocolate bars are vegan and contain no dairy. We also had a chance to chat with the friendly owner and it was a great experience. A few weeks ago we visited Squamish again and were happy to see that the chocolate bars still look amazing. We bought a bunch of bars and now have a decent stash to last for a while and to give as gifts. Though it's hard to moderate when the bars taste so good. Thank you, Xoco Chocolate!

The dark chocolate bars with roasted nuts and dried fruits is one of favorites. The quality of the dark chocolate is very good and the bars taste as good as they look. The dark chocolate is vegan. We stop every time we're up that way.

According to the website, this chain is named after the owner's golden retriever. It sure looks happy. Parking is available in front of the building, as well as along various village side streets. The inside is nice and modern. Funky looking speaker system (it's functional) in the corner. Great view of the water. There are also a couple of outdoor tables to the E of the building. Staff are friendly and cheerful. No complaints. The doughnuts are a bit pricey but they sure are delicious. I really like "Asian" style doughnuts as they are less sweet than their western counterparts. I had the matcha cream and could definitely taste the matcha. Will be trying their other locations at some point. Recommended.

The drive itself led us to an incredible bay that genuinely felt like we'd been transported to Alaska--calm, wild, and breathtaking--and then there was this cozy little gem waiting for us. Any place named after a dog and so welcoming to dogs instantly wins my heart. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, even though the place was bustling with happy locals and travelers alike. Every pastry in the case looked beautiful and tempting, making it nearly impossible to choose. The coffee, though--absolutely perfect. Smooth, balanced, and exactly what you want on a crisp morning adventure. Goldie's felt like one of those special finds you don't plan for but remember long after. If you're anywhere nearby, it's a must-stop.

Loved it and debated getting another one soon after - Apple Jack (5/5): I don't have too much of a sweet tooth but this was a very nice treat! The apple slices were juicy and the bread / biscuit was soft. Not crumbly which is a win in my books! - Chocolate Cupcake with cream frosting on top (5/5) as my kiddo demolished it without us trying...that should definitely say something about the taste! - Iced Latte (5/5): always a good pick me up, especially on a sunny day! Service was fast and staff were super friendly (and patient). The cafe was cute with a few tables inside and out. On a nice day sitting by the lawn enjoying your drink and eateries is such a perk! Their pastry display is so beautiful. There are so many choices that it can be overwhelming. The person who helped us said that they're known for their scones. So we decided to try the blueberry lemon scone and the bacon chive scone. Both of the scones were SO SO SO delicious. We also got lattes there and their coffee is also really good. We had such a good experience the first day that we decided to go back the next day. There was a line this time, but it was definitely worth the wait. This time, we tried the egg and cheese brioche, raspberry and white chocolate scone, peach tarte, and giant chocolate chip cookie. Again, everything was wonderful. You really cannot go wrong with anything at Purebread. I would eat here everyday if we had one by us at home.
