    We were part of the recent merger from The City Dog Daycare to Park Your Paws. We are a couple…read moremonths in and so far, it has been a smooth experience. Ellie has been with The City Dog since 2018 and we're glad the space still feels familiar for her. There are some different faces around but we have experienced that over the years and love that Ellie still feels at home. We boarded her for 6 days and 5 nights in June (for Vaca) and were really happy with the care she received. Prices on boarding have gone up a lot for a dog suite, but they honored our previously booked rate which we appreciated. We also did a recent daycare visit on July 3 and still have several days left in our old package that we can use this year before making any real changes. The only downside is the change from member packages to a new (for us) monthly subscription model. It's not really that appealing or attractive to us. The subscription based model takes away the flexibility we enjoyed as longtime customer. So we never felt like we were losing money for services we didn't use. Overall, space is great, now larger, with the building combined and noting we are a couple months in on the merger. We will see how things go over the next few months, but for now we feel good about the transition and would recommend Park Your Paws Columbus-Downtown, especially for boarding and daycare.     I needed a place to board Arnold, my 85lbs Pit Mastiff. I usually take him to Pet Suites but they…read morewere completely booked. I Yelped a few options and came across CRAM. They have a very unique approach to doggie daycare. No cages! I was concerned at first until I saw how Christie and her staff gradually introduced other dogs to Arnold and were very aware of behaviors. I watched from a tv monitor in the lobby area. Next thing I know there are 5-7 dogs with Arnold and he was loving it. They let the dogs spend hours together the first day and today he was there a full day. I'll be boarding him overnight Friday and Saturday. The staff is very attentive to all the dogs and know how to redirect if playing gets a little escalated. Today I was working and was able to check on Arnold from my phone, watching the cams in all of the rooms. I love that he can play all day instead of being caged for 2/3 of his stay. I highly recommend CRAM to anyone who has a socialized dog, to treat them to a real play day or two. I look forward to using them more in the future!

    Today I took my dog to be groomed and get a summer cut....I told the girl who took him back, "do…read morenot cut his ears length" she nodded ok, A couple of hours later I received a call "I am so sorry I did not see the note regarding Charlie's ears" of course they are extremely short; this is a shiatzu; I would think a dog groomer would know not to do that. common sense....of course I flipped out when I got him. They were waiting for me to keep apologizing however when someone messes up your dog, there is no apology that will work, you are furious which I was. Did I flip out? Yes.....more than I would any other time, after hair grows back. The comments from the groomer were what really set me off see below 'the jokes on you....I've groomed ur dog before and you loved it" "like I said I'm sorry.... lol....okay maam These were her responses to me, verbatim. So for me to be extremely angry when I picked him up is an understatement. Now they will come back and say, I was outraged.....I was....I used profanity.......absolutely mainly because they could care less that I was extremely upset over the exact thing I had asked the not to do. I guess at the end of the day I should have known better to take him to a groomer I did not have any history with. Completely unprofessional from the groomer to the manager, Never again, back to TLC groomers where they listen to the customer not to themselves. Denise Amato Westerville

Never had a bad experience; policy does change from time to time but it's for the benefit of the employees and the animals; as a pet owner one should keep themselves updated.

    My pet developed a serious infection during her stay at pet palace that went undetected by their…read morestaff. I left my dogs in the care of Pet Palace on Thursday afternoon and picked them up on Monday. When we arrived home on Monday, I immediately noticed one of my dogs had a very swollen, painful and inflamed side belly. After a trip to the vet, the vet said it appeared that something had pierced her skin and that developed an infection. She also had a high fever. My pet had to be sedated so they could drain and clean the infection. When I called pet palace to make them aware, they said they "do daily inspections of the dog and would have to check in with the employee who examined her to see if anything looked off". I do not understand how any reasonable person or animal lover would not be concerned by the appearance of my pets side belly. I can't even imagine how this could have worsened if we did not pick her up on Monday. It is very concerning to me that pet palace does not seem to actually check on the animals staying there and that they don't have any proper documentation of these daily checks. The employee said all she could offer was an apology. I will not be taking my pets back to pet palace and would not recommend anyone else leaving their animals in their care.
