Since you have chosen to publicly distort the situation, I will clarify the facts. First, my child is four years old--a preschooler--attending a class that was marketed as creative and supportive. Instead, your rigid, one-size-fits-all approach left no room for individual learning styles or self-expression. The lack of patience and understanding was evident from the start. Second, the way you describe my child's actions is exaggerated and unfair. Saying "no" is a normal response for a young child in a new environment. Spilling water--whether accidental or not--is also normal for this age group. As for the sharpie cap incident, rather than offering guidance or redirection, your immediate response was removal and exclusion. That's not teaching--it's intolerance. Most troubling is your complete lack of awareness or inclusivity for neurodiverse children. The fact that you frame basic preschooler behaviors as "behavioral issues" and immediately resort to expulsion rather than understanding speaks volumes. You've made it clear that children who don't fit your narrow mold aren't welcome. Rather than addressing the real issue--your rigid, exclusionary practices--you've chosen to defend discrimination under the guise of "student safety." The only thing unsafe here is an environment where a young child is treated like a problem instead of a learner. Parents deserve to know the truth: Fibo is NOT a welcoming place for all children. If you expect kids to be robotic and silent, just say so--don't pretend to offer a creative and nurturing experience. Shame on you for doubling down instead of doing better. read more

this review is for fibo's online art classes which were a lifesaver during this past pandemic summer. my 5-year-old son learned so much and i was so impressed at the portfolio of art he created. he did over 30 art pieces! i loved the variety of the projects. some were inspired by famous artists, some were places that we were daydreaming of traveling to and some were easy kid favorites like animals. i also liked how the projects challenged us to use different art mediums like water colors, oil pastels and chalk. many thanks to jasmine and the fibo art team! read more

The first few lessons were great - however, if your child is at all neuro diverse or creative on their own it will not be tolerated within the school. The learning is systematic and controlled - real creativity isn't encouraged.... read more

Very happy to have signed my kiddo up for FIBO art classes. Love the different styles they teach as well as the structure. My child is learning a lot with her freehand drawings that have definitely improved. She applies what she learns in FIBO outside of her class. I've encouraged some of my friends to sign up. I used to be such a fan and encouraged a lot of friends to sign up. While the Covid pandemic hasn't been easy for anyone, I'm extremely disappointed at the way fibo has treated their Lifetime and Program members. Not offering enough date/time options to accommodate those of us that paid over 5k upfront for a lifetime membership while offering free classes and summer camps to everyone else is kind of lame. This place is more than just a 1.5hr art class. There is a sense of community and deep investment to share the love and knowledge of all things art related. We have tried both, in person and online. When my kids were much younger, a few years back we did the in person classes and the teachers were awesome. The art projects were also very detailed and the kids always learnt a lot. After a year and half, we had to drop off due to other personal commitments and schedules. Since the pandemic this has been a constant creative outlet for the kids. The owner has done a phenomenal job of providing high end art and learning for all levels of kids as a community service, with many classes offered for free. Eventually, more well thought out programs were also introduced that we partook in. With the main framework of art in mind, the team introduced so many topics - history (e.g. ancient egypt and then an art form to go with it), geography (country and its landmarks), artists biography (artist and his painting), along with core art techniques. All the instructors are excellent - patient, kind and very attuned to the kids. This is so much more than just a place for art - it's a solid foundation for a lifetime of exploring art. I have also taken adults class which was very fulfilling. I could go on.. but you should try it out to experience it! And you won't be disappointed. read more

This is an awesome place for your kids to learn art. Both my kids are taking FIBO and they love it! They can't stop talking about when their next class is. The teachers are very caring and attentive and very helpful! Miss Sarah Jane is wonderful. She is the one in the front greeting everyone. She remembers everyone and is always a pleasure to talk with. You can tell that she really cares about the children and takes special care of making sure each kid gets special attention and is returned to their parents when picking them up. We even had taken a break for my older son and he came back for the CORE classes now and Miss Sarah Jane remembered me after 1 year and both my son's. Even the teachers did as well. It was phenomenal! Thank you FIBO for making it such a wonderful experience for our children:) I recommend every kid try it! read more

Found this art academy during Covid, to keep my kiddos stimulated during summer because they have online classes. Love it and have signed up for the monthly classes every month since June! My son and daughter are both in middle school and both really enjoy it. Will definitely keep at it, even now that school has started. Seems really cool for younger kids too! Wish we had known about it before now. read more

This is such a great art school for kids! I LOVE the program and how they teach the kids about a specific artist and then the class paints a picture that belongs To the artist they learned about. Every lesson is a new artist. The staff are kind and wonderful. We did not have any issues with signups, payment or rescheduling classes. It is really a great program and I would recommend to any Kid who loves art. read more

Fibo classes at their locations may be great but what they provide for group settings at schools it is fair. The instructors are not skilled to adequately teach groups of 50-60 groups nor is this a particularly good format. It is EXTREMELY expensive and they are very cheap with the supplies, reusing paints, markers, pastels, etc that are not in acceptable condition. Most importantly they need to work on demonstrating the steps better as the kids as a group are often loss. This review is for schools or organizations contemplating on site service. Perhaps small classes at their studios are a lot better and worth trying. read more

Like other reviews for Fibu, we took our son in after he had a class at his school for a free session. He took to it right away. The staff was friendly, the supplies were top notch, not "art class" quality we may remember from our youth (everything overused and looking rather sad). He really enjoyed the class and we enrolled him for a month's worth of classes. There was an issue with billing for us, but they promised to rectify it when we register for the next month. They followed through with their promise and honored the discount. I feel our son has thrived and engages further in Art because of the instruction he has received here. The education he is getting through these classes...Priceless read more

My daughter loves taking art classes at Fibo! At 5 years old she started in the Lil Picassos classes, which gave her a great foundation in art and allowed her to try different mediums such as chalk pastels, oil pastels, watercolors, and markers. They worked on a new project each week and the teachers provided general step by step instructions so the kids can follow. The kids are also able to add their own special touches to their projects to make them each unique. All the teachers are great with the kids and give them extra attention if they need it. My daughter completed the Lil Picassos program in one year and recently moved on to the Core program. She was really nervous about starting in the new class so the director, Ms. Sarah Jayne, took it upon herself to sit with my daughter through half of her first class to make sure she was comfortable and following along. She's enjoying the Core program tremendously and is always excited to go to class each week. And we look forward to seeing each one of her masterpieces! read more

I had my first child go there 3 years ago and she came back with an awesome portfolio of classic art (done in a kids way) and some fun art history knowledge!! My 5-year old son just had a free trial class. Although he first said he did not want to go, he came out of the class being super excited and said he wanted to come back again...! We were referred here by a friend and had our first free trail class recently. I have to say, we had the best experience! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted right away. All the staff there made us feel very welcomed. I waited until my daughter was done with class to see if she liked it. When she came out, she jumped up and down asking if we can please come back again. She was so excited! That reassured me that she had a great time. I went ahead and signed her up right away. She loves art and loves the little history that they give her about the artist. I look forward to seeing her progress as she learns new techniques from the teachers. Thank you Fibo! read more

I don't think in my life I've met anyone as professional, as loving of kids and so calm in managing a- at times very stressful- situation so amazingly as Sarah. Her handling of some of these parents whom are so demanding in the worst of times is simply amazing. As for my daughter she's always so nice, loving and supportive which is a huge reason why we continue to come here and stay here. There are so many options in other activities but her positive nature and energy is truely a major reason we continue to be here and stay here. We're not the only family that thinks this... thank you so much Sarah hope you see this because so many parents think the world of you. As for Fibo itself they do a pretty good job with content. A bit pricey to stay here long term but worth it. Absolutely love that our daughter gets support when she struggles but the philosophy doesn't allow kids to fail and I believe this is a wonderful approach. The other staff seems pretty good as well. Also love the feature where after each class you get a picture of your child. Let me say this again I love love this feature... :) read more
