Adventure Playground Irvine is one of the best places for kids to do what they do best...play and destroy things (build, then destroy the big lego blocks). There's a jungle gym, multiple long concrete slides, a water feature, sand play area, ping pong, and of course the large lego blocks that kids make into castles, forts, etc. The whole Adventure Playground is enclosed, so you don't have to worry too much about kids running out of the play area from multiple exits. There is plenty of parking in the lot and the nearby library as well as the street. The best part of the playground = free. You just need to sign in with how many are in your party when you first walk in. There's also another playground outside of the Adventure Playground at the nearby park (walk for like 100 feet). Overall, a wonderful place to take your kids for an afternoon. Xie Xie!

We enjoyed the scenic 15 min ride on the train around the park. Please note this is on every third weekend of the month. Rides are free but donations are gladly accepted. Plenty of parking. They open at 10am and the 10-11am slot is for tiny tots. You have to buy their socks - they don't like you using socks from other establishments. However on the day we went they gave us socks free because they had limited sizes. They have lockers with a key code and shoe racks. Closed toe shoes are needed for the American ninja warrior side of the park. And socks are needed for the huge trampoline side. The kids had a great time!

It's quite spacious and there are just such a variety of activities for kids, from playing in a ball pit, to stacking random foam blocks, to playing in an area filled with random electronic entertainment (like mario kart and coloring fish), to actual play area with slides and padded obstacles. Even after seeing some of the lower reviews, I still think it is relatively clean considering the amount of traffic the weekend or evening may bring. I didn't really see anything that was broken or not working, and even when the mario kart system bugged out and was on a default screen, a staff member quickly did a reset and got it back into working order within 10 minutes or so. A consideration to be made is the fact that not all the parents are attentive with their kids, so there were definitely some kids that are just disrupting other kids playing or being obnoxious/rude. It's inevitable but also makes it feel like some parents literally just let their kids do whatever with little supervision, knowing that they are within the indoor playground. For example, my 1 year old was sitting on the padded carousel, and an older kid (at least 6 y.o.) jumped into the middle of the carousel and started dancing around wildly, which would've been fine until he almost fell on top of my much smaller child. It should also be noted that the area was marked for 2 y.o. or younger, but there's pretty much no enforcement of the space. Otherwise, it's a really cool spot for kids to burn a few hours and I still think it's remarkable that they fit so many different things to do in the same area.
