Been curious about this place and found myself in Centralia, so I ducked in and what a great place. It's a nice sized coffee house with a small footprint, but because it's two floors there's a lot of seating area. In spite of that, they don't have enough tables for their customers because I'm visiting on a Saturday morning and there are no available seats. This place is super popular. I grabbed a raspberry cheese danish and a coffee and sit at one of the cold tables outside. If they put out space heaters, they could probably accommodate six tables easily out there. The coffee was solid and the danish was pretty good. It had so much jam that I had to scrape off hte majority of it, but after that I enjoyed it. Will have to come back on an unbusy weekday before the crowds hit, because this looks like the kind of place where you want to sit for awhile and talk with your friends or do a little writing. read more

I travel for work. A lot. And where would be a major metropolitan area outside of Portland that would require a fair amount of travel to, you may ask? Seattle, of course! Needless to say, with how traffic is in Portland/Olympia/Tacoma/Seattle, it takes a LOT longer to drive up there from Portland than it used to. That's why you gotta take a break! For me, that break is a stop at Fiddler's Coffee. It's roughly at the halfway mark between Portland and Seattle, and I usually am desperately in need of a bathroom break or to stretch my legs (usually both, lol). And hey, why not get a coffee while I'm at it! Fiddler's is a super cozy little coffee shop in Centralia, WA just off of I-5. The location is absolutely PERFECT for a quick stop, coffee up, and back on the road. It's not hard to find, and there's usually parking (sometimes you gotta park next door in the overflow lot though). There's a little grassy area with some chairs, so if you need a minute to chill outside, they got you covered. Or you can set up in one of the many tables/chairs/spots inside, either upstairs or down! The folks working here are just the nicest... I've been coming here for about a year now, and the baristas are always super friendly, they remember you after a while, good conversationalists, and attentive to their regulars (I've seen some of them hand deliver a bunch of drinks to a table filled with regulars). It's super refreshing to go somewhere with baristas that are generally good people. Keep it up guys! read more

We really liked this coffee shop located in Centralia. It's good to get out and try coffee shops we haven't been to because to be quite honest we are in a kind of a rut with going to ones on a rotation close to home and that kind of makes us miss out on undiscovered ones we may like. There are a lot of things to like with Fiddlers Coffee. For one the space is pretty big and there is an upstairs where you can enjoy your drinks and pastries as well as some seating downstairs as well. There is also a small gift section which does have coffee related items but there is some crafty and home decor items for sale as well. And finally the coffee drinks and pastries. Yes, those are very good too. I got their Cold Brew with rose foam on top and that was just out of this world. I loved it and felt that it was very unique. The foam flavor changes from what I read on the menu so the rose foam can't always be counted on to be available but I am sure there are other great flavors in that department as well. Steve enjoyed his cold coffee drink as well but it wasn't quite the same as the one that I ordered. Definitely a place to keep in mind for future reference when in the area and if we are wanting to grab some coffee drinks. So very glad we broke out of our coffee shop rotation here in Tacoma to try something new to us in Centralia. read more

Success! Another great coffee house in Centralia! We have stopped here a handful of times while running errands around town, ordered a variety of things, and have been pleased with them all. On the drink front, we have gotten their Mocha, the Latte, their London Fog, and Hot Chocolate. The Mocha was super good - plenty of chocolate flavorings to go along with high quality espresso. Same goes for the Hot Chocolate - both my wife and our son said it was super good. I'm not a real huge fan of Lattes, but this one was pretty good and I would order it a again from here. My wife is a connoisseur of London Fogs and likes it just on the lesser side of sweet. She said the sweetness was spot on, but a wee bit week - but still pretty good. For foods, we have order their seasonal Pumpkin Loaf and a Blueberry Scone. Both were great. Freshly baked and full of sweetness yum! I highly recommend Fiddler Coffee for your drink and snack cravings. We'll be back - You should stop there too!! read more

My husband and I go to fiddlers for coffee/drinks, more then I would like to admit! Their coffee is delicious, definitely more chocolate notes in their coffee then most typical coffee shops, which makes it perfect for chocolate lovers! From lattes to iced teas, they never disappoint. Well, that's not actually true. 3 times in the past 4 years of going to fiddlers I have had a drink that I didn't like, and you know what? They fixed it immediately! Seriously, if you don't like your drink, tell them. They have no problem making sure you get something you enjoy! The atmosphere is awesome! My favorite place to study or catch up on my Bible reading. Also a wonderful coffee shop to catch up with old friends or have a nice little date! They play great music in the back ground and everyone will always treat you wonderfully (at least with the 2618362818 visits I have had there). Anyways, this is a great coffee shop!
