My daughter and I finally made it over to Rainy City Bagel Shop yesterday! I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally did. It didn't disappoint. The bagels were great! Easy to eat...meaning not hard or super chewy. Toppings were fresh and the bacon was crisp (although I wish the bacon serving was bigger). The fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade was really good! Obviously low sugar and tasted so fresh! Service was good and the owners are friendly! The place also has a nice atmosphere. Price point seemed a little high but the food and drinks are super fresh so I'd still go back. We paid about $40 for the two of us with a tip added on. Definitely check this place out for yourself! My husband had been here before and raved about this place so he took me there for me to try on a whim. I was very overwhelmed with the selection of bagels and toppings. I panicked and ordered some funky bagel concoction I put together which was my fault not theirs. Mine had pastrami, his had roast beef. We both ended up getting sick shortly after unfortunately but again our own fault. Inside was clean and the service friendly. The busser gal did a great job keeping the tables in tip top shape! We did have to wait a really long time to pay but that's Washington time I call it. I'll give them another try and be prepared with my order before we go next time. read more

Today was our first day visiting Rainy City Bagels and we're so glad we stopped in as the bagels reminded me of the Brooklyn Bagel Factory in LA, fresh and full of flavor from the tasty "everything bagels" to the cheese bagels! Really love this place and we come as often as we can. The turkey beast bagel is my go to and it's great with any of their spread or bagel options. I love that there's always new things on the menu to try. The reason I'm only giving 4 stars is that it's hard to get my order customized. I always ask for no onions and my sandwich inevitably comes with them every time. It's not that big of a deal cause I can just pick them off myself, I just find it interesting that it happens so consistently no matter who makes my sandwich. I understand people likely just go with muscle memory making the sandwich, but it is a nitpic of mine. read more

Stopped here on a trip from PDX to Seattle. Place smelled amazing, and the staff was super kind. My husband ordered a bacon, egg and cheese, and was asked a ton of customization questions (buttered bagel? Pref for how to cook the egg? etc) and I got a turkey BLT on a jalapeño bagel. Both were amazing and tasted super fresh. We're from NY so we consider it a feat when we love a bagel in the PNW! Would definitely go back here and would recommend to a friend. read more

Fantastic bagel sammie's! Customer service was just as great! They offered recommendations that did not disappoint. We tried the thanksgiving bagel sandwich as well as the spicy jalapeño one and my oh my, stab me in the eye! So good, I wanted to order more. Craving a cup of coffee and bagel ? Look no further in Lewis county. The coffee was fine nothing to cry home about but a nice combination with my hot stuff bagel. Nice flavor. Had some heat to it and fresh avocado so that was nice. I only wish the bagels had the New York or San Francisco vibe. I think it would bring wow factor to the meal. But overall not bad. It was definitely a wise decision! Walked in and was greeted by very friendly staff. Placed my order with some helpful suggestions and was on my way just a few minutes later. Went for the first time last week. We were amazed at the different options of bagels/ spreads/drinks and Bagel sandwiches. The staff was amazing and gave amazing recommendations.My brother and mom ordered breakfast bagels while I ordered the Thanksgiving bagel as well as two of their fresh juices. We loved everything we received. I loved the combination of the pesto cream cheese with the cranberry sauce. I did remove one star for what happened afterwards. We ordered two more sandwiches to go. There was a rush and a local celebrity came in and entertained the whole staff. During all of that, our order was lost (was the only one to be lost at that time) it got to the point the staff gave us an odd look like "why are they still there" then they realized they lost the post it note where they wrote our order. We were able to give them our order again and one of the owners gave us a five dollar gift card. This place is amazing and I do honestly recommend all of your visit and try their amazing bagels/drinks. I just hope the ordering system is a bit more organized read more

I got the vegetarian bagel (YES jalapeños!!) with vegan cream cheese. Generous, fresh veggies with super creamy "cream cheese". Partner got a sausage and egg on cheese bagel and raved about it. Stopped in for a smoothie this morning and had a question regarding the vegan protein powder that is used. A previous time that I came here for a smoothie an employee stated that they might be getting a new plant protein soon because the current one was not good. So, this time I was seeing if they got a new one, I was honestly just curious. I had never even tried the protein powder that they use. The owner freaked out on me as if her ancestors made the protein powder themselves. I could not believe it. The rest of the time I was there I was being eye rolled and scoffed at. I love the ambiance of the shop. But unfortunately, the owner of this business made me never want to return. Also informing anyone I know of this experience so they hopefully won't give her their business. Not worth paying $13 for a 16 oz smoothie and having your day ruined at the same time read more

This is our fourth visit and they just keep getting better. We had to wait a considerable time because the place was full which we were happy to do. Their food is definitely worth the wait. This is homemade, made to order food. That is worth the time. Plus the taste is incredible. My husband had an OG Breakfast bagel on a jalapeño bagel with jalapeño spread. He said the bagel and spread were not spicy at all but had a great flavor. I had a vegetarian bagel on an everything bagel (which is an egg based bagel that is exquisite). I chose salmon spread which is full of flavor but not overwhelming. And in my other half I got garden vegetable spread. I wasn't a fan of this one so much, it's very gently flavored almost tasting just like cream cheese. Still tasty but not something I would choose again. I had avocado, cucumber, sprouts and micro-greens. We also got two bags of bagel chips which are a mix of all their bagels turned into crunchy chips. They're the best. Next time I want to try their fresh strawberry lemonade. I saw them making one and they were literally squeezing the lemon and adding fresh strawberries. I was impressed. All in all, our favorite place to get bagels. Worth any wait because of the great service and outrageous great food. read more

I don't recommend going here if you have a short(er) lunch break. The first time I went in there was a line of us and nobody was being acknowledged. The second time I called ahead and by the time I got there my bagel sandwich had been given to someone else. However, even with these kinks I will be back. My thanksgiving bagel sandwich was huge, delicious, and affordable. They have numerous bagel options, spreads, toppings.
