This place is insane! We have heard good things so we had to try for ourselves and man we were not disappointed!! The chips were so fresh and perfectly crispy , and the house marg was amazing. When the tacos arrived we were so impressed. I have allergies to gluten and they were extremely accommodating. I wish we had time to eat there one more time before we leave. Thank you!

We tried several of their tacos and decided that the Quesabirria and the fish tacos were our faves, although they were all tasty. The salsa that came with our chip order came in both red and green. It was creamy, unlike other salsas we've had with chips. We prefer a more traditional salsa, but it's good to try different things. The top shelf margaritas were refreshing on a hot day. Their outside patio is dog-friendly and they even brought out a pupsicle made with frozen chicken broth. It was pup approved!

Current menu (only appetizers increased in price over last summer)

I was last here last summer. It was nice to see a local Mexican restaurant surviving in today's economy. I noticed that very few prices increased. I sat at the bar. I noticed all the sidewalk picnic tables were full. I started with strong mezcal based cocktail called Naked & Famous. I got the Palmito + Tomato appetizer. Lots of greens with chunks of avocado, petita seeds, hearts of palm, and a creamy cilantro dressing. I got a 2nd tub of dressing for free. Next was a steaming bowl of Chicken Posole. I got an non-alcoholic beverage, Lavender Limeade. It had a profound color change after mixing, with the lavender syrup sitting in a separate layer from the sweet lime juice. I was still hungry. I got 3 soft tacos, Quesabirria taco, Bomb Ass Fish taco & Elk Chorizo taco. All good. I was finally full, no dessert. I was served by Sasha P who attended to me last summer. My wonderful meal earned me more rewards from their plan.

Really cute place and chill vibe! We stopped on our way to Moab from Breckenridge and had lunch! It's right in downtown Palisade, CO. The menu is really creative. We tried the mocktails and some a la carte tacos. We also ordered some chips and salsa with a small guacamole. It was a relaxing lunch with great service and delicious food. We will stop again!

We stopped in as a group of 4 for dinner. Service was very good. The menu is ambitious and with 2 pickier eaters in our group there weren't many options for them. A build your own taco would have been appreciated (pick a meat, 2 toppings and a salsa). Lavender Limeade - NA drink with a Lavender syrup. Excellent. Deconstructed Elote - excellent DON'T MISS Roasted Cauliflower Taco - neither of us thought it was very good until we added Chimichurri salsa that another person wasn't using. Then it was better. Wouldn't order again. Bomb Ass Fish Taco - very good Carne Asada Taco - very good Palisade Plunge Burrito - the person who ordered it didn't like it. Chile Relleno - very good but kind of bland. Improved with salsa. It was on a bed of beans. Ask for a rice base instead. The ingredients were all very good but some tacos are too ambitious.

Huevos Rancheros was excellent

Abby was an excellent server with experienced recommendations. We had the Spicy Cucumber margarita and Pineapple Habanero margarita. I'm not a big spice girl however I love both of these!!

When we ran out after 6 chips, they wanted to charges us another $3 dollars for more. We already paid $12.

What Mexican restaurant charges for salsa? For a small town, I would recommend another place that provides more value for your money. They chopped up radishes and used it over the skirt steak for the taco. No thanks. The chicken taco was skimpy for $8. Save you money. When we ran out after 6 chips, they wanted to charges us another $3 dollars for more. We already paid $12. "Bomb Ass taco" wasn't so bomb.

Peach margarita. Need I say more?

Loved it. We sat in shared seating area on sidewalk as sunset for the day. Laid back vibe. Tasty elote, tacos, and tomato salad. The service was terrific. My wife and I enjoyed unwinding here. Overheard the owner talk to local patrons for a bit. Proud of his operations and establishment. Stop here if you can! No regrets. Great find.

Maybe it's CHILAQUILES, but I'm not sure

Small portion sizes with a high price tag. Honestly food wasn't even that good. Service was great though and the ambiance is nice.

We ordered a hamburger with a side of sweet potato fries (note I'm not a big fries eater, but the burger and fries were truly delicious). The burger was cooked to perfection, the slices of tomato were juicy and ripe and the fries were crispy with a creamy interior. We ordered a slice of the peach pie for dessert. The huge slice was topped with a crumble, side of whipped cream, along with small balls (molecular process?) of juicy peach balls. We came on the early side for happy hour (2 specialty drinks for the price of one- 9.00) two sangria flavors (green apple or peach)...whilst a tad sweet, we're good. The peach is less sweet than the green apple. If there are two of you ordering, order one per person and you can return for your second one even after happy hour ends.

We opted for the more informal setting of the Tapestry experience over Caroline's. We're staying at the Wine Country Inn in Palisade this week and thoroughly enjoying our stay! The breakfasts each morning offer a variety of delicious breakfast options. The wine tasting at 5pm offers up two delicious choices from a local winery. And tonight's dinner was exceptional. I ordered from the Tapestry menu. My burger on a gluten free bun was phenomenal!!! My husband ordered the New York Strip off Caroline's menu, and he thought it was quite good. The ambience of this room is very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend dining here! Our server, Juan, was also really attentive and helpful. Tonight was a 5 star experience!
