We walked in on Thursday and they were very helpful. We needed to convert my elderly mother's physical stock certificates (yes, they actually still exist) and get them put into her Fidelity account. Sam came out to assist. He made copies of the certificates and told us he would call when they were ready, probably in a day. He ended up having the paperwork ready in a few hours. We returned and spent about 45 mins signing forms to complete the transaction. Sam and Caesar were very prompt and professional. A friend of mine inherited an account with Fidelity. After visiting the office and asking them to sell all the stocks and send him a check, they didn't do it. We made several phone calls to obtain the money and each representative asked questions about what my friend was going to do with the money. They took it upon themselves to put a lock on his money as they said there was fraud involved, that he couldn't have his own money. It was a nightmare. Finally we had Edward Jones get the money away from them. It's like they don't want to let the money go. I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more

I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service I've received from Fidelity. I attempted to complete a very simple task--switching my account from joint to trust ownership--but encountered multiple issues due to the unprofessionalism of their staff. I had to make two trips to their office, which took nearly four hours of my time. We signed all the necessary documents in person, and the forms were even notarized. Yet, a few days later, I received a call informing me that they had made a mistake on the application--which had been prefilled by Fidelity themselves. Despite the error being on their end, I agreed to sign the documents again and followed their instructions by emailing the corrected form. When I later called to confirm they had received it, I was instead told to upload a copy of my driver's license--something that was never previously mentioned and seemed entirely unnecessary for the purpose of my call. When I tried to explain that I was simply following up on the submitted document, the representative abruptly hung up on me. I found this behavior extremely rude and unprofessional. As someone who is managing their money seriously and paying Fidelity fees on investment profits, I expected much better treatment. This experience has been deeply disappointing and has made me question Fidelity's commitment to customer service. read more

We have all of our investment accounts with Fidelity. We moved them over from Chase who was less than accommodating. Fidelity is amazing, supportive and always there when we need any help. They have been renovating this location for what seems like many years and it is now nearly finished. The staff here is always attentive and helpful and we appreciate them in so many ways. There is nothing worse than a Bank/ Investment Company making their own rules when and if it bennafits them at the last minute without any prior warnings of changes , charges or hold times you may face. Their website is structured to make it look like your funds are available to trade with. They want you to use them so you get a Good Faith Violation. Even after calling 3x about those pop up signs were. They said it's just for tax purposes not to worry. Being new to trading I'm learning as I'm going along. Shortly after I'm hit with a 90 day violation. They planted this to get control of your money and able to control your trades on their terms . It's funny how after getting the 90 day violation only then does Fedelity website control when u have or don't have funds to trade with. Something that should have been working properly before getting Violations. Now I use limit order rather than Market Value. Since they refused to let me close my account until their 16 business waiting period was over. I accidentally deposited more than wanted to through my bank into Fidelity account. My bank didn't deduct it out so I sent it all over again thinking it didn't go through. It was pending. After funds were sent that same day. Fidelity locks up all my money for another 16bysibess days even though I just went through this already. I just finished with the last long hold time for prior deposits. Had no idea they would need to hold all my money for another month all over again . Not one dollar they would release knowing my situation. I didn't want to ask to borrow any more money from friends so I was starving for days no access to any money.This left me in such bad situations I want them to pay for what they did. Not one manager could help or customer service. Shame on their practices using our money for their own gains while kicking us out to the curb. Even if my stocks were sold off for days they still didn't care to release some money. No matter what! They always have tricks up their sleeves. They can't be trusted obviously. I've been investing with Fidelity for over 20 years. Their Green Valley office is conveniently located in THE DISTRICT with plenty of free parking. Their investment counselors are friendly and helpful. I usually meet with them bi-annually. They also offer zoom meetings & various webinars covering various types of investments throughout the year. If I have questions or concerns, I receive a prompt reply by phone, text or email. If you're considering making investments, give them a call they will meet with you to assist you in making the right financial plan for your needs. read more

Review from a relative that doesn't have or want a Yelp account: Fidelity carelessly sent my 401K savings check to an address I lived at 30 years ago. Whoever lives there now, very easily cashed my check without any problems. The only reason I found out is because I then received a 1099 to pay the taxes on it. Of course, that was sent to my current address. I tried to get my money back from Fidelity but was impossible, they requested a lot of proof to make sure I wasn't the one who had cashed the check. I spent many days and hours speaking to them on the phone. They gave me the run around until the statute of limitations was up 3 years later. They so easily sent my check to whomever, then treated me with suspicion when I told them someone else had cashed it. Then gave me the run around until the time expired. Be careful with Fidelity, sometimes they don't know or care what they are doing. Some of the staff at this location were not very nice either. read more

Tricia at the branch was really helpful. I attempted to call the various 1800 numbers and they had me on hold for over 35 minutes. I'm not even sure anyone was going to answer. I called this local branch and they picked up immediately and gave me very specific guidance to my situation. The chatbot and 1800 numbers are of no help. My situation and question was answered in less time that I thought was possible without all of these needs for pin numbers and account numbers because it was more of a general question. Thank goodness humans are still employed at the local level to answer calls. read more

The person who assisted me with my request was very courteous and polite and was caring in reminding me to look into some regulations to avoid fees. Called Fidelity Investments in Henderson NV to inquire about how to open a business investment account after speaking to three individuals and asking each the same question, the last person I spoke to disconnected the call to avoid giving me an answer; I've dealt with fidelity investments in the past, had an investment account with securities in it, apparently the securities vanished without a word from fidelity investments. Based on these experiences I would advise everyone to find a different brokerage. Only gave them one star to be able to make this post, otherwise their rating would be gooseies. read more

Fidelity only has one physical branch to serve the entire Vegas Valley, so that's already a big negative. Obviously Houston has way more people than Las Vegas does, but it's crazy to think there are 3 Fidelity branches within 5 miles of where I live in Houston. Plus this one is not located well. It's at one corner of The District at GVR and parking is often terrible - and that's not even factoring in that the nearest parking lot is technically reserved for the nearby corporate office building (no one has yelled at me for parking there.... yet). As should be expected of any retail brokerage, they don't care about small accounts here. I only have a leftover IRA from an old job, and to be honest, I've only kept that open because of Fidelity's affiliated 2% cashback credit card that requires an account. Nevertheless, I don't think it's that much to ask for friendlier and more professional staff. There have been a couple times I've walked in and there is literally no one behind the counter or in the lobby area, and I'll just stand there for a while until an employee decides to show up. Also, whenever I go in with my SO, I've noticed employees always call him by his title and last name, but they always address me by my first name. I'm too easygoing to take that personally - just don't really expect that in 2017. I suppose it's good I can take care of most stuff online. +1* because they have a pod espresso machine. Given how many other 2% cashback credit card options there are out there nowadays, maybe it's time to transfer that IRA. read more

I would not recommend Fidelity. I just retired. A few months ago I had the desire to put all my Retirement accounts with Fidelity so they would be easier to manage. I was told my fidelity, via their website, to open a traditional and a Roth IRA, Fund them with $100 each... and that would prepare the way to transfer them over. I did so.. and Fidelity then said they did not want my business. Now.. to get my $200 back.. I must send back account statements, copy of drivers license..... Yesterday I asked to move the other funds I had with Fidelity to my bank sponsored Investment dept .. and asked Fidelity to send me a check for $26,000... and with a phone call... they told ME my bank account #.. and assured me it was on the way...but still I cannot get my measly $200 back... without sending all the above info.... and absolutely no reason why.. sound like a scam to me... read more

This branch located in The District next to Green Valley Ranch in Henderson. Parking sucks during the week at lunchtime. But not too bad during other business hours. They're professional and can provide alot of options to help build your portfolio and meet whatever level of investment goal you desire. They don't seem to be too interested in smaller accounts and will ramp up the services and attention based on your needs. The bigger your account the better it gets. Just the way it is, as it should be :) If you have a significant amount and want to be guided thru by the pros, they're set to handle it. Sometimes they talk as if you don't know anything, but in any event they have alot of financial products to offer and a very professional presentation. read more

I've been trying to get a HUMAN in the retirement services dept for 3 days, 4 calls each one over 2 hours and NO ONE answered and/or they transferred me to a client representative that could not answer my question (note I called the specific number for a retirement representative each time, then the calls just rolled over). Tried calling our one and only office in Las Vegas and it routes to the same queue as the 1-800 number. Very frustrated, why did I invest my money with them? If you have a choice goto northern trust, city national or Goldman Sachs. They have one office in all of Nevada which makes it a nightmare if you have to drive to their offices to give them back paperwork they didn't get right the first time. Good luck. read more
