They said I couldn't until he came in and agreed to be removed. They also couldn't fix my status to make any changes in their system I was still alien not a citizen. Funny that they didn't update that status (6 years ago) when I took $600,000 mortgage but needed that to make simple changes so my husband couldn't run up debt during the divorce. I was forced to close my longest account and loose credit history because Wells Fargo couldn't get their things together. This is the worst bank with the worst customer service!

They strung our buyer along for months and months, promising we were going to close, and then pushed the closing date back again and again for undetermined reasons. They kept demanding more and more of our buyer, which the buyer continued to provide to them. But even though we were all doing everything we could to close the sale, they just continued to play games and lie about the closing date and string us along. Someone needs to look into their practices to determine that they aren't using discriminatory lending practices. Our buyer ended up going elsewhere, to a wonderful lender who was able to close on our home in just 30 days. So obviously, our buyer was qualified, after all, to receive funding. Therefore, Crown Mortgage either has some really dire operational problems, or they are openly putting more onerous conditions on certain buyers than on others, which is specifically prohibited by fair housing laws. I would like an explanation from Crown Home Mortgage about why they played games with us in this manner. I'm mulling over a fair housing complaint if a good reason for their shenanigans can't be given.
