There's such an eerie feeling walking (ok, sometimes running!) through a corn maze with the huge open sky above you, or feeling the trees closing in on either side during the hayride. Staff and actors were professional with excellent makeup and costumes, although Freddy Krueger was my favorite. Be sure to vote for standout actors as you leave. We did not pay for the fast pass options and had very minimal waits, but that may have been because it was early October. I've been later in the month before and definitely wished our group had bought them, although standing in the lines can be entertaining in itself and actors are often strolling by and interacting with people. The lines are horrible ! We stood in line for over an hour for the hay ride and it wasn't good at all. They shoot a real gun with blanks and it was so loud and directly in my ear, no warning or anything. My ear was ringing for 30 minutes. The maze was actually pretty good. After we spent another $20 a person for the fast pass because we got tired of standing in that line for almost two hours. By that time it was about 12am. My only complaint on the maze would be some areas are dark and inside some of the buildings are confusing and we went the wrong way a couple times. lol. However they could have more people in some of the buildings. I think 3/4 buildings were completely empty while others had 2/5 people inside and out. Also they have some strobe lights so bright and directly in your face. The worse part was the crawl space in the barn, it was kinda pointless and very dark. My favorite was the slide leaving the barn. It's very steep and kinda fast so if you don't like that then I would recommend the steps but for me that part was fun. Some of the actors really put time into what they do while others just sit there or stand there. Overall I spent $120 for two people and had a decent time. Only got scared twice & that's because you can kinda tell when they're gonna jump out or where they're gonna be standing lol. We went at 9:45 and left a little after 1AM. I would definitely recommend spending the extra money and getting the fast pass. I feel like most of my time I was standing in lines. read more

Don't waste your time. Literally 3 hour + wait for 30-40$. People cut in front of people non stop. Bunch of kids. Line moves slow. Standing the entire time. Not worth it at all. You can do fast pass for an additional 20$ though. I recommend you do that if you decide to come, it moves instantly. read more

Overall, a pretty good haunted attraction. First things first - they don't accept credit cards so either have cash or use their ATM (I think it was a $3 fee). There is an opportunity to purchase a VIP pass, which allows you to skip to the front of the line. The Hayride to Hell was pretty lame. Unless you are the designated "buddy" - chances are you won't get scared much. Plus, there is a narrator on the hayride that lets you know what area you are entertaining. I felt like the narrator took away the suspense of if a character was going to jump out or not. The Field of Screams was awesome. Yes, you do follow a path but there are alternate paths you can venture down. I feel like you should be guided down some of these at times as multiple groups got bunched up toward the end of the maze, which made some of us see exactly where the scares were. The barn was probably my favorite part. We ended up with a smaller group and definitely got some good scares. There was one part where you had to crawl but the actor was awesome with a person in our group that chose to go around instead. Once again though, there was an issue with groups bunching up in the latter half of this part. The scream tag was ok. $5 to shoot a laser gun was a bit much considering what we had already spent just to go through the rest. Totally splurge for the VIP ticket. We only waited about 5 minutes for each area rather than waiting hours. read more

In the past I have really really loved coming here. Last night was bad- really bad. I always feel guilty writing poot reviews and have sympathy for workers and businesses during this trying time but I was SO disappointed. $35 a person for the hayride & haunted field/barn attraction. Hayride was nothing close to scary- only 2 actors during the whole ride to "scare" us. I wouldn't have paid $5 for this unfortunately. As I remember in the past the haunted corn maze & main attraction take a while to walk through and that remained this year which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. You'll definitely spend a lot of time here. There were probably ~10 actors in the hour long walk. Really underwhelming. Some parts of the attraction were decorated and themed and had great potential, fake mummies and automatic/motion sensor decorations just aren't scary. The barn was the best part. I know it must be very hard to manage how quickly people will walk through the attraction but I felt like they could have done a better job at timing out how they allowed groups to enter because in many parts it felt like we were in a conga line with strangers, maybe we were all just trying to get out of there. Kids weren't even afraid. Was nice to see they had a good truck- didn't try it though. A few portapotties on site. Cash only. I will be back next year in hopes they are able to get more help. read more

Disappointment. Waited in line for two hours for the hayride. A women got on and asked us if we wanted to pet her spider... a lady was on the side asking for tools or a mechanic next to a broken down car. Went to a space alien area and a business man came on and didn't say anything. Went through a prison and a man was banging on a bar... and a cowboy got on literally not spooky in the least and sounded drunk. One of the actors touched a man and a fight almost broke out with my nephew and son sitting next to us. When we got off I was truly shocked it was a joke. Not one person was scary and not a singled person was scared. Don't waste your time or money. read more

The main thing is I was with my daughters and grandson, so that was the best thing about the whole evening, Improvements should be made to make it faster in lines because you will wait up to 2 hours unless you buy a fast past which is an extra 20.00 per person, so it cost each of us 55.00 dollars, would have been more but we didn't get the fast pass for the hayride. Now this place was not worth that for real, we waited 2 hours in line for the hayride and it was freezing, they need to have the outdoor heaters for the long lines, or dress like a polar bear because it's cold. The hayride was lame and not worth it seriously, the actors would jump on wagon and look at you and make remarks, so sad Now the Corn Maze was better but hard to enjoy after standing for two hours and toes are near frozen. The corn maze was pretty good but plan on waiting a very long time if you don't have a fast pass. They don't offer much food or drinks so eat well before you go. Each year field of screams keeps getting worse. Hayride this year had 3 people "jump out" or get on the hayride with you, total waste of money and waste of time waiting in line. The whole way through the corn field and barn we kept catching up with the group ahead of us which gave away all the scares. There were also a lot of actors that didn't jump out and a lot of part that's didn't even have anybody in it to scare you. This use to be the best haunted house to go to, but I have been disappointed over the past couple of years. read more

I was really disappointed. We waited in line for 30 minutes to get a ticket. Then waited in line for 2 hours to go in. Got maybe 20 minutes of actual haunt time. Then got re routed out to another line, where we waited another 1.5 hours. Once we finally got to go through the second half of the haunt, it was empty. There were maybe 5 actors through the rest of the trail. So I ended up waiting 3.5 hours in line for maybe 1 hour worth of entertainment. This place is by far one of the best haunted places for halloween. I took my teen daughters a few yrs ago. Even I had a BLAST!! I SCREAMED & RAN all over the place like a lunatic...lol! The field "maze" is dimly lit and you never know what you might come across. They chase you and pop out of the corn stalks. I also liked that they had different themes and things to walk through. I even like going through the "barn"... Its kinda far out in the middle of no where, but its worth the drive and lots of fun. Definitely go and check it out!!!!!! read more

Veterans beware!! We showed up and within 30 seconds was confronted with gun fire and what sound like an ied going off. PTSD is hard enough and I wanted to do something with my wife and daughters but it was chaotic. The police officer directing traffic said it goes on all night and that it drives him crazy. I really wish they would have had something up on the website about that. I really would like to know when it became entertaining to incorporate a combat like experience in a haunted house. read more

Not worth the money or the wait. Got in line at 915, and didn't get on the hayride until nearly 11. There are no limits to how many VIP members they let on, which slowed the main line significantly. After anxiously waiting, the actual hayride was a complete let down. Costuming was mediocre at best... scenes were generic. Actors were minimal. The entire thing was over in approximately 10 mins, and even my 7 year old didn't scream. Save the money. read more

First the positive. The fine ladies that sold us our admission ticket we super. Very informative, polite, friendly and very inviting. The rest of this attraction just missed the mark on most levels. There is the initial waiting in line that you would expect; however there are 3 additional lines you must wait in later for each segment of the attraction. I also had a character squirt water from a bottle into my face including my eyes. The major problem with that is that it was a bottle he had been drinking out of. The biggest complaint we had was as we were moving about the different stations, we were called "old" "mom and dad" and asked about our Social Security ? We were generally made to feel bad about our age. We are only in our 40's ? Yes, most of the people there were 13 or 14 years old but, the owners really need to address some of the characters comments, behavior and overall treatment of the customers that have also paid good money to attend. We won't be back and that's unfortunate because we came because a friend of ours recommended this Halloween event. Let us know when people of all ages are welcome. read more

For the cost, not impressed. Maybe 2 costumes were well executed, but it seemed to lack an actual scare factor. Had bad acting, lack of participants, and a maze that wasn't a maze You could see where people could have been at sometime, but weren't. Favorite attraction was Spooky the pig and just because Spooky was really. Not to mention the sign said "they can't touch you if you don't touch them" .. Well apparently as told after standing in line for 2hrs the sign is a lie and needs to be updated, because they can touch you! Plus one actor I complimented on his costume and he said offensive things to me in return. Future going I'll stick with Hill of Terror, which is well worth it!! FOS I'm given 2 stars for their band, 2 actors, and Spooky the pig. read more

I've been to many houses in Kentucky and Ohio alike, but this is my favorite by far. For starters, it is the largest one I've been to, including a haunted hayride, haunted corn field, haunted barn, and haunted woods. There is also a haunted building where you are equipped with a laser gun (like those in laser tag) and you are given the opportunity to fight off clowns, monsters, etc. Next, it's great because while in line they provide entertainment. This year while in line there was a DJ, as well as monsters lurking throughout the patrons. There were also fire eaters/ dancers on stage with the DJ. The houses are composed of top quality props, and the actors are actually scary, and look lifelike (props to Freddy Kruger here). The only bad parts of this haunt would have to be price ($35 for everything or you can purchase the house without hayride or vice versa) and the wait time in line. The price truly isn't bad considering the length of visit and quality of experience. Highly recommend this haunt. read more

I've been to a lot of haunted attractions. This was pretty awful. They were very disorganized. It was expensive. It was not scary. Mostly a lot of horn-blaring and actors using it as an opportunity to hit on girls. There was too much waiting in line, it was way too long (almost 2.5 hours). There was a lot of dead time where you are just walking aimlessly around. The corn maze thing is pretty overdone, and you just walk around in it in the dark with no actors or anything for the majority of it while you wait to come up on random little stations that don't fit together. They warn you that the actors touch you, and they do, but it seems like just them trying to add some fear into it. It was loud, the people were all drunk high schoolers. They sent people into the attractions in too large of groups and too close together, so everyone would end up bumping into people and the only people who got any interaction from the actors were those at the head of the group. Very lame. I would never go back. A waste of 20 dollars a person. read more
