I highly recommend Fielding Tree & Shrub Care! They are fantastic! I called them for an estimate last spring (2017), to trim my overgrown crab apple tree, that I don't think has ever been trimmed! It was so misshapen and needed some major interior trimming. They scheduled an estimate within a few days. They quoted me a reasonable amount, but recommended that I wait until it was dormant, this year (2018), because it was susceptible to disease. They took their time and answered all my questions. I called around for quotes from a few other companies and they wanted to trim right away, and didn't mention anything about waiting until it was dormant. They came last week and did a great job! They were very professional and answered all my questions. They came when scheduled, trimmed it in a little over one hour, cleaned up very well, and made sure I was satisfied before they left. I also found a 10% off coupon on their website, good during January and February, so I ended up paying less than I was originally quoted. They were reasonable, did what was promised, delivered excellent customer service, and cleaned everything up, with smiles on their faces! I will always use them! read more

Words cannot express how impressed I am with this company. For once, Yelp did not let me down. I can personally validate the positive reviews of this company. The company was very responsive, easy to communicate with and did a wonderful job, I had a lot of work to do in my yard which was getting out of control. Gabe, the owner, provided a quick estimate and his crew, Frank and Colin and I wish that I could remember all of the other crew members names. My apologies to those whose names that I don't recall, no slight intended, you all did a fantastic job. I am horrible with names and faces. I had two large junipers removed, an overall trim of all of the shrubs in my yard, a large limb removed from my locust tree that was dangerously close to the power drop line to my house. They also removed three dead trees in my backyard and did a full trim of my Redbud tree which was not a simple job due to all of the dead wood. The crew was hard working, polite, professional and did a fine job of cleaning up afterwords. Yes, their service is a little pricey but in this case, you do get what you pay for. I had no idea how long trimming a 75' willow tree would take (I assumed all day) but these guys finished in 1 hr. 45 minutes and did a fantastic job. The two men on the job were extremely polite. They not only cleaned up my yard after, they cleaned up the mess made in the neighbors' yards as a result. Very respectable. They mulched all the branches and limbs and besides a few random twigs and leaves it barely looks like there were branches all over my yard an hour ago.. All other estimates were more than double what Fielding estimated. I took that as they would probably do about half the job those other guys would. No, these guys knew what they were doing and the only thing better than the estimate provided was the result. Hire these guys if you don't want to worry about cleaning up the yard yourself. We had a 60 foot Blue Spruce that needed to be removed for safety. The tree was close to a busy street. Because by tree was in the front yard and open to the street, they were able to complete the bid without my being there. The fielding crew was professional, efficient & knowledgeable. They cleaned up and made the bed ready for planting again. They were transparent during the complete project. I knew exactly what to expect. They're a little higher then some bids, but I feel totally confident in their service. (sometimes one pays for what they get) In this case, I would prefer to pay for the best arborist and not have to worry about the tree landing on my house or a car passing by. Contacted the office to arrange an appointment to remove a tree stump. Took almost ten days before being contacted back and being able to set a date and time appointment for two weeks later. The day of the appointment the crew did not show up during the 9:30 am-Noon window. Called the office twice, they could not contact crew to give me time estimate of the crew's arrival. Finally at 5:30 pm, 7 hours LATER than expected Rob showed up. Rob did a good, quick job and was a nice person. He cleaned up after grinding the stump. Miscommunication between Rob and the office was the apparent problem - not sure. No follow up call after making me wait ALL DAY for the crew to arrive. Not sure if I'd use them again. read more

I used Fielding today for trimming of two ash trees and one very large cottonwood. We called once, got a bid the next week and got on schedule within a month. Cost was very good, they were on time, worked and clean up was excellent. The entire crew was friendly and very professional with appropriate safety equipment, and they worked well together as a team. I work with many large tree removal companies professionally in the Foothills, and these guys rank with the best. Amazing how technical they were in their rope work , cutting and limbing as not to damage my "pretty flowers." I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing tree care. I recently used them to remove two very large trees from my back yard. They were extremely professional starting with the estimate process and continuing through the actual removal. Actually they were about $200.00 over a couple of other companies but none were as courteous and straight forward as they were. 44444;We have 2 Aspen trees that we built our deck around years ago. This year it was time to take out the deck to replace it and doing so we realized one of the Aspens also needed to be removed. Fielding came out to cut down a 45' scotch pine in our front yard that had lost a lot of branches from previous snow storms. They accurately dropped the tree, without damaging any of the plants around the base of the tree, and processed it in record time. Not only were they really fast, they cleaned everything up and dropped and cut most of the trunk for me to use as firewood. They saved me a lot of work and I really appreciate it! Finally someone who knows what they are doing! I have three Apple trees that are in need of a full pruning. I've had three other services out to quote me. Kyle, one of their arborist, was the only one to tell me that trimming Apple trees in the summer is a BAD idea because of a disease that they can catch that kills them! WHO KNEW! Chad came by yesterday and looked at the health of several trees I have in a small courtyard area. They were getting way too much water and Chad spent spent a great deal of time with me educating me on what the issues were and how to fix them.
