The invoice was higher than the quote. When I asked why, they said they had to replace a rotten piece of roof decking. When I asked how there could be a rotten roof decking sheet under a new roof they had no answer for me. Either my new 50 year warranty roof is leaking or they put shingles over rotten decking to begin with. Best part... they keep telling me they'll come out and see what the problem is but they don't. And yes, our salesperson was a PRO, lol, and we went with their product over the others but it was the best on the market. The technicians had the job done within 3 days of our initial call, and were very professional. We had to put in a service call about a week after, as it turned out we had a blockage in one of our downspouts, but the service team came the next day, and was able to resolve our problem AND we were not charged because service calls are covered under our warranty. A great experience over all and peace of mind to know we will not have to deal with our gutters for the rest of the time we own our house.

After looking at the building told me he would have the estimate done in a few minutes and went back to his car. He then came back to my house caring this big case with a handle on it. He proceeded to tell me all about the company and how good they were as well as he could get the job done very soon unlike his competitors and how fast his company is growing! He then showed me colors and asked me to select one after showing so many things that was in his sales case that I didn't care about. I finally said you don't need to through all of that for me. I said I just need a price to install this 32 foot gutter. He comes up with a figure of $1,367.00. I'm thinking WOW that's a lot for such a small simple job and I told him that. Then he says " I can give you a senior discount and a cash or check discount and if you served in the military I can take another 5% off. That brought it down to about $1,180. I said I'm not interested at that price! He said well since it will be a cash sale without financing I can get it down to about $900.00. I said that is still to much for a 32 foot gutter. Then he says as long as I'm here and only while I'm here I can do the job for you for $700.00 but once I leave the price will be the $1,180. I told him I still am not interested. So he leaves not even leaving a business card as he said he would. Talk about super sales pressure!!! If they could do the job for $700.00 why didn't they quote that price to me in the beginning instead of trying to take advantage of me? Then I get a quote from the local Lowe's store to install this gutter. Their quote was $567.00 including tax. So in my opinion the Leaf Filter company is a business to stay far away from. They are a "RIP OFF" company with very high sales pressure as well as unreasonably high prices!

They came out to inspect the problem, found that one of the pipes on the roof is damaged and causing the problem. Since we were expecting more rain, they came back that same afternoon to temporarily seal the area until we can permanently fix it. Kristin and Jarred were outstanding to talk with and explained everything! You don't find customer service like this anymore, it was so refreshing! If you need any work done please give them a call! I contracted with the Conway branch for roof, siding and paint on my house. I was assured that…read morethey would use expert installers that worked for them. Roofers did a good job but it went downhill from there. The first siding installers messed it up completely and severely damaged the front and rear doors, and damaged the new roofing edges by leaning ladders against it. First Star sent a second crew that tore off and replaced the siding but couldn't fix the doors. They even replaced the front storm door but it still wouldn't work right because the doorframe was sprung. Then the power wash crew came out but didn't have a power washer. They had to go to Home Depot and buy one. Wanted to quit 2/3 of the way through because they didn't bring any fuel for it. I put my own gas in it for them to finish. When the paint crew showed up they didn't even have any ladders and had to use mine. They didn't caulk the gaps as promised. First Star had no qualms about leaving a 75 year old man to caulk siding and touch up paint, and repair doors and doorframes so the doors will actually close and latch. Plus I'm still picking up chunks of fiber cement siding, nails, and shards of aluminum soffit from the yard. It's not like they were pressed for time. Started in October, finished in August. You'd be better off going to Home Depot early in the morning and picking your own crews. Probably would get better results.

He listened to…read moremy concerns and needs and his attention to detail and suggestions for resolution were above and beyond others I sourced. He converted to larger gutters where my roof pitch deemed and added gutter guards everywhere - top rated guards with 40 year warranty. He identified a section that needed a gutter which was not done with the new build in 2017. He color matched all sections of downspouts. And identified a corner area for me to watch that is not the best configuration. He will be able to improve if water is overflowing there so I will be watching that area. Each time they were directed toward the No Solicitation sign posted right next to the sidewalk leading up to the front door, you can not miss it if you tried. Was told that since they did not catch it on a previous visit they would "take care of it" which was nice. Called on 5-7 to check status and they said they couldn't find a section of pipe since it is 12 years old. Called again 5-24 no result. Called again 6-18 no result. Called again 7-17 no result. Called again on 8-1 and they sent someone else of to look at the pipe. Called again on 8-14 no result. They never have called me. It took me less than 5 minutes to find the pipe on line. I'm glad they found the problem but their resolution was beyond lacking. The repair has been made by someone else.
