Got me in when I was in a lot of pain. I needed to have a wisdom tooth and molar pulled. I almost passed out because I didn't eat lunch. Just about everyone I met were so welcoming and kind. I didn't feel nervous at all going into my appointment. Every medical professional walked me through the appointment and explained the issues and rationales for doing interventions on my teeth. The location is close to my home and the indoor suite is beautiful with plants in every corner of the office. Absolutely recommend after my first initial visit. read more

I have selected 1 star because I can only pay in instalments per month max up to $300 per month. I would have given 5 starts if my dentist would let me pay in installments. I go for 12 years to Fields Family Dentistry in Mechanicsburg and my dentist is Dr. McGeer, excellent dentist. However, larger work on my teet was only possible when I paid installments. Now the Dentist does not do anymore installments. Kimberly my partner and caretaker booked a dental appointment for me. However, Kimberly found out I can not see my dentist Dr McGerr because the employee mentioned with Kimberly's second phone call that the $140 dollars is only for xrays etc. I need to have a root canal done and a root canal cost at least from $300 to $1000 dollars. I was not able to keep the appointment. I really feel like Fields Family Dentistry is after a lot of money. I get SSDI because I died NDI 2015 in our home. I am not employable anymore. Now I sit with an open tooth, and the lower row there is a bridge which needs urgent repair. I pray and hope my dentist or another dentist would help me and let me pay in installment max up to $300 per month. I believe in Father-in-Heaven Jesus Christ to help me to see a dentist to help me. I have dental phobia and teeth that need a lot of work..not a great combo for me. I spent a lot of years feeling embarassed about it until I arrived at Fields. Thanks to anethesia options and Dr. Frisbee, I am treated with respect, great, skill and patience. I truly feel like we are "in this together". Thanks also to the entire staff..especially the dental hygenists and extended function hygienists (aka my therapists). You are amazing. read more

Do not take your kid to Dr. Frisby. I should have trusted my mom instincts when he talked to my child the way he did. Instead of having a calming demeanor- he has a weird and awkward stern demeanor- so no wonder my child is afraid of him. We have tried 3 times to get her tooth addressed at this facility so he should have known to refer her to a pediatric dentist- he saw her fear each time. He did NOT inform us that he may not be able to fix her tooth, and instead, lead us along to believe he could until it came to the moment of doing so and then saying "never mind, she's too afraid." She was literally in the chair at this point and surprise- she was afraid. Well she's BEEN afraid! He never said this would impair his ability to take care of her. It's been months since this process has started and my child is now in pain from waiting so long. He should have seen her fear and referred her right away. He never told us he didn't have the knowledge or resources to handle her fear. I have never been so upset at a doctors professionalism and transparency. He is NOT a pediatric dentist and he should have been more clear about what he can and cannot do for children. We will never set foot in this office again. I feel so used- he seems to care more about making money on my child than referring her to someone who can actually help her. Then my husband talked to the office manager and luckily a pediatric dentist walked through the door at that exact time. Dr. Frisby has the audacity to call me and make it sound like he pulled all of these strings to get us referred to this actual pediatric dentist when it was just dumb luck that saved him. I hope he reads this and understands why I'm upset. I'm not the kind of person who will scream how I feel at someone. He even told my husband he was transparent front he start- so he's a liar as well. So this is a warning- don't take your child to dr. frisby. Update: pediatric dentist was able to see my daughter and in literally 5 seconds- diagnosed an abscess because her tooth was loose. X rays were obtained to confirm. So doctor frisbie was going to do an unnecessary procedure on my daughter because he failed to do a simple exam prior to initiating the pulpotomy- which peds dentist said would have been unnecessary because now that her tooth has an abscess- it needs to be removed. Thanks Dr frisbee for not referring us to a peds dentist from the initial visit where you noticed my daughter was fearful of being around you. We could have avoided losing a tooth. Luckily this abscess wasn't ignored by peds dentist or my daughter could have ended up in the emergency room. read more

My only comment for the sake of educating the business is that they should provide better customer service to their website users. If you are going to provide the option of requesting appointments via the website and/or communicating via the website, then RESPOND to those requests. DO NOT IGNORE THEM!!! read more

I have been going to this practice for about 8 years now. My wife and kids also goto this practice! I have to say that every time I go they Do a great job, they actually keep appointments and don't make you wait long to be taken back, I think the longest I have waited is probably 10 minutes! Dr. Fields and his staff really do a great job of making sure your teeth get the attention that they deserve and I appreciate that because a a healthcare professional your smile is your first impression! I am pretty new to this practice. After a horrible experience aT another dental office I was recommended to Fields family dentistry. The dentist that I have seen is Dr. McGreer and he is extremely understanding to me as I am a very apprehensive patient. Gena was his assistant and so knowledgeable. I have had my teeth cleaned with Sarah and she is such a sweet person and did such a thorough job. Something that I really like is that they contact you to let you know in advance what your co-pay will be. They also give you timely reminders so that you do not miss an appointment. I often read reviews on Yelp and always think I should do the same for other people but never have time. In this case I feel I have to write the review. Dr. Fields was our dentist for about 5 years until we moved to a different state. Dr. Fields is a great doctor! And not only because he is very attentive and does every teeth job to perfection whatever it takes him (I had some complicated demands) and such a nice person to deal with. In other words we liked him very much. Of cause It could be our individual feelings. The more objective thing, which probably hard to realize while you are visiting the same doctor, is visiting a number of different doctors. And of cause that became necessary at our new locations. Every doctor I see is very impressed with the conditions of my teeth and the quality of work that was done, especially crowns and root canals. Every doctor notes what a good dentist I must have before. And they have nothing left to improve, everything my teeth could need was done by doctor Fields. Thank you, Dr.Fields! read more

Our family of 4 have been patients for 12 years. This is a quality practice. One concern I will share is makIng sure you get a good hygienist - in the past we steered clear of one who was not kind to our daughter (she left the practice), and today I had a nice gal but she was too rough - used a water-pic type device that actually hurt, and then was very harsh with her flossing technique. (I've never had actual pain during a cleaning at that practice before) . We will avoid her in the future. All other gals have been gentle and fabulous. read more
