I attended an event here hosted by a third party. All the staff members I encountered were really open and friendly. Most, if not all, the pianos in the showroom, were available to try out. Steinway pianos really are beautifully crafted with lots of attention to detail. Of course that comes at a hefty price, some as high as $200K! The exciting part is that Steinway is now making more "modern" looking pianos with different pops of color. The upstairs is a nice space for recitals. The event I attended included a 45 minutes recital by Vijay Venkatesh and 2 piano unveiling! I think you can rent their open areas for events. The other cool fact about Fields Pianos Home of Steinway is that it's family-owned and operated since the 1950s! Currently, I believe Michelle, the granddaughter, is the one operating the store. She provided a cute story and I hope they continue to thrive.

My final moments with the traded-in Schafer & Sons with 30+ years of memories.

I really enjoyed my interaction with Derry who was very helpful and not pushy at all. He treated me and my son with so much respect, even though we are not world-class musicians, and he recommended just the right keyboard - - Roland GP607 - - instead of trying to upsell. We are very happy with our purchase and also appreciate them letting me trade in my old Schaeffer & Sons upright and giving me credit for it.

Purchased a Steinway Model B Spirio and could not be happier with service and execution. The team member I worked with was Mack. He was incredibly knowledgeable and a genuine great guy. No high pressure sales tactics. Highly recommend supporting this business and purchasing your next piano from them.

Best place in Orange County to buy a piano, their selection is wide, sales people are knowledgeable and was able to fit a piano for my 12 years old girl

This place is super annoying. I don't know why, but it just is. I was here and was looking at pianos.

With the distance and the variability in quality between instruments, I wasn't sure how I could realistically try multiple pianos without driving all over Southern California. Fortunately, Kim's Piano made the process incredibly easy. They have a huge inventory of Yamaha pianos, and I worked with Steve Rivera, who was responsive, knowledgeable, and very fair throughout. He helped me narrow down several strong options over email before I made the trip to their Stanton warehouse. When I finally went in, I brought along a piano technician to evaluate the instrument I selected. He was also impressed with both the quality of the piano and the breadth of their inventory. I ended up purchasing a 1971 Yamaha U3 that plays and looks like new. I couldn't be happier with the quality, value, and overall experience. Steve was patient and helpful every step of the way. I highly recommend Kim's Piano to anyone looking for a high-quality instrument at a fair price, backed by excellent service.

Before I came in, I was mainly interested in the Roland digital piano HP704, so I called ahead to ask if they had it. I was honestly surprised when they said yes, because I worried they might just be saying that to get me to come in. But they really did have it. Not only did they have that model, but they also had several other Roland options, from more affordable models to higher-end ones. I even got to try a more expensive model that I had not known about before, and the sound and touch were much better than the one I was originally planning to get. I'm really glad I had the chance to try different models, because otherwise I might not have made the best choice. Sunny helped me with the sale, and she was very patient while I spent a long time trying out the pianos. Since I plan to play a digital piano at home with headphones, I took extra time testing the different models. I used the headphones they provided and played on my own for quite a while, and I really appreciated that she gave me the space to explore without making me feel rushed. I was also the only customer there at the time, so I may have had a bit more flexibility, but I still appreciated how comfortable and unpressured the experience felt. After the sale, Julia and Sunny also helped answer the other questions I had, and they were both very welcoming and kind. Being there made me feel so happy because I love pianos, and the atmosphere felt so cozy and welcoming.
