This hotel is one of the finer accommodations in Roma Norte. We stayed here for four nights which our apartment continues to be renovated. There are a lot of ammenities like the spacious lounge, and meeting area right at the lobby level. There's also a pretty nice bar area although we did not partake. The room was very modern and the bed appeared to have been updated recently. The WiFi was Rock solid and we really have zero complaints about this hotel. We would absolutely stay here again.

The amenities are very nice compared to other hotels, as we started our trip here, went to another hotel to be closer to another neighborhood, but ultimately returned back because this hotel was much nicer. On Monday I'd gotten a stomach bug and had not eaten ALL DAY! I'd purchased a cup of noodles at the oxxo down the street and used the market microwave in the lobby to heat up my soup. I kindly asked the front desk staff if they had a fork available and she told me, "You could check with the Bistro but idk they might be closed" in a super dismissive and unhelpful tone. Mind you, it was 3 minutes past bistro's supposed hours of operation and they'd long been closed. I asked another worker near the bistro if they'd be able to lend me a fork and was denied because there was nobody at the bistro. Really? There's nobody else in the lobby and you can't go out of your way for 5 minutes to get a fork from room service or reach over and take a fork from the bistro for your paying customer?! What kind of hospitality service is that? The advantage of staying in a hotel in today's day and age is the AMENITIES and SERVICE you are supposed to receive. If these people won't go out of their way for a fork, what makes you think they'll go out of their way to ensure your stay is satisfactory? The next day my group bought cup of noodles from the oxxo (they were not sold at the hotel market at this point) when the miserable front desk worker YAZMIN directed the security guard to tell us to eat outside food in our room instead of in the lobby. How is it that for our whole stay we've seen people eating outside food in the lobby (little Cesar's, tacos, etc.) but suddenly it's a problem when it's us and coincidentally they began selling cup of noodle soups that very same day! Why are we paying these astronomical resort fees when we can't use something as basic as the lobby?! Yazmin is on a serious power trip and needs to be retrained on what hospitality service looks like and stop citing BS "policies" out of thin air. Furthermore, our plumbing stopped working twice on this trip. I understand Mexico doesn't have the strongest plumbing system but it's a Marriott for Christ's sake! To add salt to the wound this neighborhood didn't feel the safest. Book literally anywhere else. This is not what staying in a hotel should look like in 2024.

Upon checking in, my key card didn't open the door to my room, which was on a high floor. So, I went back downstairs for the front desk to re-activate it. I returned to the same room only for the card to not work once again. I then went all the way back down to the lobby, at which time the front desk told me they were sending a technician to change the battery on the lock. Fine, but the front desk was completely unapologetic. I hung out in the executive lounge for a bit until that got sorted out. Once inside the room, it was quite nice. Clean and classy. Standard for a JW. The lobby is elegant. The pool area has very few lounge chairs and catches a lot of shade. I spent most of my time on the pool deck in the jacuzzi.
