    We celebrated my daughters Quince on Saturday August 14th. We rented the Gold Hall and had 200 guests. Kathy and her staff were amazing. My guests raved about the food and the cake and how clean the place was. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone that is looking to have a big celebration. It honestly saved me a lot of time and headaches because everything was included, from tables/Chivari chairs, centerpieces, DJ, Sweets table, bar tender, limo. You chose your package! Thank you again , Kathy!

    This review is waaay over due. If I gave them 1 star is because they let my friends (hosts) have a shot of tequila (no shots are allowed) to calm their nerves from all the stress they caused them. I had gone with my friend to the food/cake tasting. The food was ok nothing spectacular. The cake we chose was cherry chip flavor because the breading was pink like the theme. Well the day of not only was the cake not pink, it definitely didn't have the design we had chosen, oh and it was pretty small. I think the tiered cakes from Sam's Club are bigger and cheaper. We helped pay for the cake and it was $450. The day of the event there was one person doing both pictures and video. Apparently it was also the responsibility of the hosts to drive him around because he just got dropped off. Being that it was one person clearly it's hard to do both and maybe that's why the pictures he captured weren't the greatest. The quality of the pictures honestly look like they were printed from a mobile phone. They have that slight blurry look and the color isn't vibrant at all. The video wasn't great quality either even though it was blu-ray. Photographer only captured pictures at home, at church, and a few at the park. Both sides of the family didn't get there picture taken because not everyone went to the park because they were doing other things to help the hosts make things smoother. The photographer didn't take many pics at the hall because he was busy taking video. The party bus arrived late and the quinceañera and her court arrived 15mins late to the scheduled mass time. At the hall they supposedly served 150 plates and ran out of food. There was several plates on tables that hadn't been served. Mind you the quinceañera and her court brought back take-out. The waitress explained to me that some ppl asked for 2nds and they can't say no...yes you can because if my friends paid for 150 ppl then 150 ppl should be served. After I brought this issue up to them and I told them I would yelp, the waitress then told me she could go to one of the other events and pull a plate for my family to eat but please don't give us a bad review. Are you for real right now? What makes me think you didn't pull plates from this party to feed another party? And do you honestly think you don't deserve a bad review. People pay good money for their event to go smoothly. An event with good memories. Especially for a once in a lifetime event for their daughter. Our friends did end up having more guests way after the food serving time. The hall chose not to let anybody in until more tables and chair were set up and paid for. After all screw ups the hall had, they still wanted more money. They obviously put you in a position where you have no choice because your guests are outside in line waiting to come in. So many things went wrong but thank goodness the banda was great and had the dance floor full but of course this was one of the things not contracted through the hall. My advice if you want to avoid a headache DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE FOR YOUR EVENT!

    Where to even start with this place! I wish I would have read the Yelp reviews before we signed the contract. This place has no concept of what customer service is. Kathy was late to almost every appointment we had to make our payments and would never inform us that she would be running late. Her excuse was that she doesn't text when she is with clients, yet she would sit on her phone for the majority of our appointments just ignoring us. When I tried to voice my complaints to her she didn't care. She treated us like total garbage. After repeatedly trying to rip us off the owner Kathy tried everything she could to ruin our event. The day before when we showed up to set up my parents tried talking to her and she told my parents that I was the problem, not her. We were also told there was no fridge to store our cake and when we asked where they normally store the cakes and the food that they provide they told us off. The day of our wedding, the venue was supposed to be open at 3:45 for the bridal party, but when we showed up everything was locked, even security could not get in. After getting in, we noticed that the beers that were going to be served had not even been put on ice despite the fact that the event was almost starting. At around 7pm Kathy informed my husband that we were almost out of beer yet at the end of our event we had over 200 beers left. We were also told that there was no forks left to serve the cake, despite the fact that our contract said that they would provide all of the disposable silverware and plates. We only decided to bring our own because we wanted something nicer than white plastic utensils. The worst part was that while unloading all our stuff after the wedding we found 4 packs of forks in a box that Kathy had attempted to hide the same way she did with the beer. Also in the middle of serving dinner Kathy decided to send ALL of the waiters on a break leaving our guests to finish serving the food. Kathy had an attitude and was super rude to everyone the whole night. I would not book this venue again even if it was free. This place should not even be in business. The only thing keeping them afloat is the money they take from people they rip off and all the cash payments they don't report on their taxes.

    Well to start off. Everything went perfectly on our wedding date on 10/27/2017. We received everything that was promised to us. The food the servers and the communication was always on point. Something that we really loved was that everything was done in a very professional manner. Kathy was the best because she was always there to help and to motivate me when she noticed I was feeling stressed. Thank you so much again for the excellent service. I would 1000% recommend this event service to anyone looking to have a stress free and wonderful event.

    So happy we booked Heather for WTW's month-of package. We were actually looking for a day-of…read morecoordinator but after speaking with Heather, we realized that month-of would be more beneficial especially with vendor logistic/timing (plus WTW prices were reasonable). Heather saw us 2x before the big day: final venue walk through and our rehearsal day. She was super organized during those 2 days and helped guide us with our venue and corral our entire wedding party during the rehearsal. Heather also provided us with a day-of timeline, even for the hours she was not physically at the venue. On the wedding day, she arrived with Annaleise (team member) around 3pm and immediately got to work with the decor set up before our 6pm ceremony. All we had to do was hand over our room key and off they went! To be honest, we were so busy that day that if we didn't have Heather helping us out, I'm not sure how we could've accomplished what we needed to do. No amount of uncles and aunties could've done what WTW did in the same amount of time hah. Plus we had a cocktail hour "flip" during our ceremony, so having WTW help us during that time was crucial. At the end of the night, all our items were returned to vendors or packed away in the boxes we brought them in and stored in our room. During the month of, WTW used Google's suite to keep everything organized and documented, which I found very helpful since its a program that I am familiar with (vs learning a new program). And Heather also provides some rentals if you want to add more to your decor, which was also VERY helpful when we needed more candles and stands. Heather is professional, calm, and assertive. She knows what needs to be done to help make your day run smoothly and is a team player with the vendors and venue. For reference, our wedding was in Riverside, a church ceremony, 8 people in the wedding party, 120 guests, ~10 vendors, plated meals, and a hotel venue reception. We had a couple funky additions in the night which made the reception feel nontraditional, but Heather handled them like it was normal. We haven't received official pictures yet, but when we do, I hope to update this review so any new potential clients can see her magic. Thanks again!!

You can tell from all of her experience that she knows what she's doing. We gave her an idea of the colors we wanted, and she was able to help design flowers and decor (e.g., candles, lanterns) that were better than anything we could have imagined. She was able to work within our budget to still make an absolutely stunning arrangement for both our ceremony and our reception. Even better was that she was able to use a mix of largely silk flowers (which looked gorgeous and cost less) as well as as real flowers for the bridal bouquets and groomsmen flowers, and every last detail looked perfect. She is communicative and flexible with you, and she made the daunting task of choosing wedding flowers into a stress free and beautiful experience. Would highly recommend anyone in the area looking for a florist to go with Brandi and Finishing Touch!

Our initial consultation consisted of an in-person visit to Finishing Touch's showroom where there were samples of various wedding decor set up for you to see! My fiance and I did not have a clear vision of what we wanted besides my main goal: have as many lights as possible. Brandi was AMAZING in showing us pictures of previous work and then creating new ideas that she had never done before to bring my goal to life. Brandi's communication was absolute perfection and she was clear and prompt with all of her responses. I was quite nervous about the fact that none of the actual decor would be seen until the day of the wedding; however, during our final in person consultation, Brandi put my mind at ease with her meticulous review of every floral/decor detail. Fast forward to our actual wedding day and Finishing Touch was at the venue setting up before any of us had arrived. I can confidently say that myself, my husband, and every guest in attendance was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the decor and florals from Finishing Touch. We loved being able to use a vendor that could create their own decor installations, but on top of that they are also professional and expert wedding florists (all of our bouquets and flowers from our decor stayed alive for weeks out of water and in the heat). We can not recommend Finishing Touch enough for bringing our wedding decor dreams to life!

    THANK YOU BONNIE & TEAM FOR THE BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!! I will start this review off by saying…read morethat I photograph weddings, so having a gorgeous scenic spot to marry my boyfriend/fiancé of 11 years was the #1 on our list and The Pond (+ the overcast weather haha) DELIVERED. And the #2 thing on the list was having a variety of backdrops to photograph against which we also found here no question. We first toured The Pond and met with Bonnie (the owner) back in September 2022. We had already toured 5 other venues and this ended up being our second to last tour and last day of touring. The second I stepped on the premise I knew we had found our place. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, breathtaking, and well taken care of. The pond is also full of bright koi fish and other cute little friends like ducks walk around. I felt like we were already late in booking a 2023 date, but to our luck they had May 5, 2023 open which was also 11th anniversary! Easy and done. This hidden gem venue has charm and is the most unique and scenic venue I've ever been to. The main selling points for us in addition to the views were: 1. Full Bridal and Groom houses to relax and get ready in. We each had 8 bridesmaids and groomsmen + our family so it was very important to us that we could find a place that could accommodate our large party to get ready in. They also have separate parking for the wedding party right next to the Bridal/Groom houses and another larger parking lot for guests which is also free for them 2. Fun and unique areas for all of our guests to spread out and explore. Including the gazebo overlooking the pond, fire pit (for s'mores), and cove underneath the gazebo to experience a waterfall. There was also a ton of space for all our vendors to set up including a Boba Table and Photobooth 3. Affordable price that included 1 hour rehearsal the day before, 10 hours on the premise for the wedding, and our package also included the DJ and Bartender team. This was great because those vendors are already used to working with Bonnie's team and DJ Richie killed our lighting throughout the venue as well! They also set up heat lamps for us when it got colder at night 4. DIY everything! I have been looking forward to planning my wedding my whole life and had a lot of decoration and vendor ideas. Bonnie and our Coordinator team (YourDayYourWay) helped make all our ideas and plans come to life and were gracious about accommodating everything we asked for including keeping the sails down in the ceremony space for our photos, letting us do special cups for boba, and letting us choose our catering (5 Elementos Food Truck). The whole event was 100% customized by us and this was so cool since I know a lot of venues have strict rules they never bend. And for anyone who may be deterred reading this because they don't want to DIY everything, I promise the venue still looks great just as it is even without all the extra stuff. Seriously! 5. They allow sparkler exits! Although…read moreHeather communicated very well, there were a couple of incidents that I found slightly unprofessional: 1. I signed a contract with one of her staff as my wedding planner. Unfortunately, from my understanding, there were unexpected changes in the company, so Heather had to take over. However, Heather responded that she would make an exception for me and not charge me an additional $1000 for this change. With all due respect, I should not be financially penalized for changes that an owner experiences; especially since I already signed the contract that I financially agreed to. 2. I encountered a lot of life changes that disrupted my ability to move forward with a wedding that my brothers were supposed to be in. For instance, I had a depressed, suicidal brother, I had another brother leave for Japan for the Marines, and I had an uncle pass away. All vendors except for Heather were so kind to fully refund my deposits due to the situation. Unfortunately, Heather responded that she was still a businesswoman and was financially hurting, so she was in no place to offer a full refund. I basically paid Heather almost $500 to establish a simple contract. I already had all the vendors in place and organized, so this deposit was for nothing. Heather should not be held responsible for unexpected circumstances, but this wedding meant a lot to me. As a business owner, you should be able to compromise with your clients based on their situation. I could have easily used that deposit to help my family for the funeral. I find this situation absurd because I never wanted a wedding planner to begin with. Our wedding list was only 32 guests, but my fiancé insisted that we hire a planner because he did not want me to stress out. I admire him for caring, but this wedding was going to be a private and intimate event with very little management. I blame myself for hiring a wedding planner when I did not need one. It is unfortunate that Heather was thinking like a businesswoman and not a human being with empathy. Nonetheless, please make sure to ask about the refund policy for emergencies such as death, health, etc. Two stars are for her communication, but I can only evaluate Heather based on my experience with her before the wedding date. Therefore, I am unable to provide feedback for her day service since my wedding never happened. Has it ever occurred to you, Heather, that you had not heard from me in a year because I was busy dealing with other important things like planning a funeral? My wedding was the last thing on my mind. Also, I was not complaining about the charge that never happened, I am complaining about your response to your changes. There was no need to comment on that you are more expensive and won't be charging me. We could have proceeded forward with whatever it was we were doing. You contacted ONE venue and that is because they had YOU sign a contract with them. FYI, my pre-engagement photos were scheduled with the photographer I hired for my wedding and I was still refunded the full amount. This vendor did not work for free either and still managed to prioritize customer service over money. You are a business owner and have the liberty to do as you please, but you must have needed the money more than I did, so I hope my contributions helped your business. Nonetheless, well done on your communication. If you have a family member with a life-threatening illness or you have a medical condition that may require potential hospitalization, please do not hire Heather as your wedding planner as she will not refund you the deposit because not make exceptions for your situation simply because she does not "work for free." I found Heather through Yelp and let me say: she really understood my vision and kept it real with me on what i could and couldn't afford lol. Not to mention, I literally and honestly don't know how I could have enjoyed my wedding without Heather. Her and her assistant, Courtney, handled E V E R Y T H I N G on the day of our wedding at the Estate on Second and then some. If there was any sort of problem, she had the solution. If we needed a drink, she was there with mine and my husband's signature cocktails. If I was losing track of time, she made sure to gently push me along. She truly handled everything so that me and my husband could just have FUN and for that I am truly grateful.
